Original GitHub issue: https://github.com/1038lab/ComfyUI-QwenTTS/issues/16

Environment

  • Python: 3.13.9
  • PyTorch: 2.10.0+cu130
  • ComfyUI: v0.14.0 (released 2026-02-17)
  • GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5080
  • OS: Windows 11

Issue

ComfyUI-QwenTTS fails to import on startup. I tested two different transformers versions — both fail with different errors.

Error with transformers 5.2.0 (ComfyUI default)

cannot import name 'ALL_ATTENTION_FUNCTIONS' from 'transformers.modeling_utils'

Error with transformers 4.57.1

File "ComfyUI-QwenTTS/qwen_tts/core/tokenizer_12hz/modeling_qwen3_tts_tokenizer_v2.py", line 498
    @check_model_inputs()
TypeError: check_model_inputs() missing 1 required positional argument: 'func'

Root Cause

This appears to be an upstream issue in the Qwen3-TTS library itself. Multiple reports exist:

A fix has been submitted upstream:

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Install ComfyUI v0.14.0 with Python 3.13.9
  2. Clone ComfyUI-QwenTTS into custom_nodes
  3. Install requirements
  4. Start ComfyUI → import fails regardless of transformers version

Impact

This also breaks ComfyUI-TD-Qwen3TTS (https://github.com/AICoderTudou/ComfyUI-TD-Qwen3TTS) which depends on this package for its imports.

Request

Once Qwen merges PR #201, would it be possible to update the bundled qwen_tts code for compatibility with transformers 5.x? Thank you for the great work on this node pack!
