Tried updating to latest version of comfy then this happened after i relaunched, tried reinstalling latest version of manager but still getting this error when trying to load up.
ComfyUI_windows_portable\ComfyUI\custom_nodes\ComfyUI-Manager\prestartup_script.py / module 'folder_paths' has no attribute 'get_user_directory'
@ltdrdata commented on GitHub (Jan 12, 2025):
What is the ComfyUI version?
@ghost commented on GitHub (Jan 13, 2025):
I have the latest comfy. I think a recent Manager change has broken something. None of my custom nodes are able to update now. They all give this error:
ValueError: [ComfyUI-Manager] Not a valid git repository: C:\ComfyUI\ComfyUI\custom_nodes\comfyui-tooling-nodes
Updating: C:\ComfyUI\ComfyUI\custom_nodes\comfyui_controlnet_auxTraceback (most recent call last):

I am also getting this same issue
"ComfyUI_windows_portable\ComfyUI\custom_nodes\ComfyUI-Manager\prestartup_script.py / module 'folder_paths' has no attribute 'get_user_directory'"
in a completely new install of comfyui portable on Win 10 that I am attempting today. But I got manager working because I had an older version of manager on another ComfyUI install from approx. a week and half ago. When I copied that old version into the new custom-nodes folder, both comfyUI and the manager started up and worked.
Per the old manager that works, the combo I can get working is:
ComfyUI: v0.0.1-19-g374e093
(2024-07-17)
Manager: V2.55.5
@ltdrdata commented on GitHub (Jan 15, 2025):
Your ComfyUI is too outdated. Please update to the latest version.

you were correct, of course. Thanks
