Is it stuck at that point?
Try moving custom_nodes/comfyui-manager to another location or removing it, then run it again.

Oh... I mean the startup messages.
I want to identify exactly where that code got stuck.

I think this is caused by downloading data from "raw.githubusercontent.com" after startup. Since this address is inaccessible from China, it seems that setting the GITHUB_ENDPOINT environment variable still cannot resolve the issue.

I'd like to correct my previous statement. I also encountered this issue when starting ComfyUI for the first time after installing ComfyUI-Manager. I terminated it using Ctrl+C. Below is the error message.
I think the issue is caused by a timeout when accessing files.pythonhosted.org from China. The fix_broken function in glob/manager_util.py calls pip to install packages.

This issue is not about being unable to connect to the GitHub server. It is about being unable to connect to the PyPI server.
A solution for PyPI also seems necessary. As of now, using a VPN is the only option.

It looks like your python_embedded is corrupted. Try reinstalling the portable package.

All previous versions don't work for me anymore, only this one works, since I have the 50th series.

But sometimes such strange errors occur.
Error 'mesonpy' It doesn't appear, apparently I installed it. But the error with numpy is already annoying.

[...] But the error with numpy is already annoying.

The problem is the current packaged https://github.com/comfyanonymous/ComfyUI/releases/download/latest/ComfyUI_windows_portable_nvidia_or_cpu_nightly_pytorch.7z includes Python 3.13.2 and that one is currently too new and lacks support for many pre-built packages, making it a poor choice for compatibility-heavy setups like ComfyUI.

From ChatGPT:

You have two realistic solutions:

✅ Option 1: Use Python 3.12 (Recommended)
NumPy has precompiled binaries for Python 3.12.

Uninstall Python 3.13.2, and reinstall the portable ComfyUI package with Python 3.12.
NumPy will install without compilation:
batch
Kopieren
Bearbeiten
.\python_embeded\python.exe -m pip install "numpy<2"
This is strongly recommended for simplicity.

🔧 Option 2: Manually add missing Python libraries (advanced)
If you must use Python 3.13, you’ll need the official CPython distribution installed somewhere temporarily:

Download official Python 3.13.2 from python.org and install it. (Make sure to check "Add Python to PATH" and include development files when installing.)

After installation, copy these files from the official Python installation directory:

vbnet
Kopieren
Bearbeiten
python313.lib
python3.lib
(usually located at C:\Program Files\Python313\libs)

Paste them into your portable Python's lib folder:

makefile
Kopieren
Bearbeiten
E:\stablediffusion\ComfyUI_portable\python_embeded\libs
Retry NumPy compilation:

📌 Strong recommendation:
Option 1 (downgrading to Python 3.12) is far simpler and more reliable.

Python 3.13 is currently too new and lacks support for many pre-built packages, making it a poor choice for compatibility-heavy setups like ComfyUI.

Therefore better use https://github.com/comfyanonymous/ComfyUI/releases/download/latest/ComfyUI_cu128_50XX.7z which is also linked here https://github.com/comfyanonymous/ComfyUI/discussions/6643#discussion-7891140 and includes Python 3.12.8, or alternatively try docker https://github.com/mmartial/ComfyUI-Nvidia-Docker

From ChatGPT: > You have two realistic solutions: > > ✅ Option 1: Use Python 3.12 (Recommended) > NumPy has precompiled binaries for Python 3.12. > > Uninstall Python 3.13.2, and reinstall the portable ComfyUI package with Python 3.12. > NumPy will install without compilation: > batch > Kopieren > Bearbeiten > .\python_embeded\python.exe -m pip install "numpy<2" > This is strongly recommended for simplicity. > > 🔧 Option 2: Manually add missing Python libraries (advanced) > If you must use Python 3.13, you’ll need the official CPython distribution installed somewhere temporarily: > > Download official Python 3.13.2 from [python.org](https://www.python.org/downloads/) and install it. Therefore better use https://github.com/comfyanonymous/ComfyUI/releases/download/latest/ComfyUI_cu128_50XX.7z which is also linked here https://github.com/comfyanonymous/ComfyUI/discussions/6643#discussion-7891140 and includes Python 3.12.8, or alternatively try docker https://github.com/mmartial/ComfyUI-Nvidia-Docker
