Hello, I've installed ComfyUI from the desktop application website on two machines, different locations, and each one has this error in the manager window, right side box. Seems like this box should be reporting the current build.
Installing Comfy in C\user\name\documents\Comfy. Any issue there?
Thanks

Can you connect to https://github.com/ltdrdata/ltdrdata.github.io/wiki/News without problem?
@magnus1225 commented on GitHub (Mar 6, 2025):
Yes I'm able to access that link.
In the Comfy console there is 1 error too
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (not found) http://127.0.0.1:8001/api/userdata/comfy.templates.json
@ltdrdata commented on GitHub (Mar 6, 2025):
You need to check the anti-virus, firewall or browser extension.
@magnus1225 commented on GitHub (Mar 6, 2025):
Currently no 3rd party anti-virus installed, just default windows.
I did allow comfy through the firewall
I'm running locally and not on a browser so would extensions affect at all?

I've had this issue pop up a couple days ago in the desktop app for windows. Tried all the network and firewall stuff. I have other installs that are also up to date and running fine. I even tried to uninstally and remove as much as possible in the registry and ProgramData, AppData/Local and still no luck
@magnus1225 commented on GitHub (Mar 6, 2025):
Same, tried deleting everything, then clean install, still see that error. It doesn't affect working on Comfy, just trying to understand what's going on.
@ltdrdata commented on GitHub (Mar 6, 2025):
Did this happen after updating the desktop app?
@magnus1225 And do you use desktop version too?
@magnus1225 commented on GitHub (Mar 6, 2025):
I do. I've only been using ComfyUI for about a week. Don't remember if this error was there from the start, but noticed it after following a tutorial and their box showed the build info, that's when I started looking into it.
And like I said, I'm getting this error on two different machines, on different WIFI connections.

same, I had this problem earlier with unknown versions, and it’s happening now with v3.27.10 inside ComfyUI Desktop. However, in the past, the issue was usually fixed with the next update. I get the following
@ltdrdata commented on GitHub (Mar 7, 2025):
Gotcha.. I'll take a look.
@ltdrdata commented on GitHub (Mar 8, 2025):
This is fixed. Next Desktop Version will ship fixed version.
