I noticed UI Manager stopped showing up after I updated ComfyUI. I tried to delete Manager completely and and reinstall using git clone. Restarted everything, not sure why it is not showing up. I updated ComfyUI like 3 days ago so I assume I have the latest version, I also updated all custom nodes. I did not notice after I did the restart that manager was missing until today when I went to install missing nodes.

any suggestions on how to fix?

Some of the errors:
[ComfyUI-Manager] Failed to restore comfyui-frontend-package Command '['/Library/Developer/CommandLineTools/usr/bin/python3', '-s', '-m', 'pip', 'install', 'comfyui-frontend-package==1.11.8']' returned non-zero exit status 1.

Update: I was using ChatGPT to try and help troubleshoot this and see if I can make it work. I think the issue is my XCode system is using PIP version 21 and would not allow me to update to v25. So I created an virtual environment and tried running through there with no success. Now when trying to run comfyui I get this error:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/Users//ComfyUI/main.py", line 11, in
import utils.extra_config
File "/Users//ComfyUI/utils/extra_config.py", line 2, in
import yaml
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'yaml'

Giving up for today. I think I broke it completely.

Yes, just re-install ComfyUI manager and things will be fixed.

Thank you. I kind of screwed myself and I think I broke something else so I cant even get comfyui to start anymore I keep getting other errors, tried a fresh install and still nothing. it keeps telling me pip is an unknown command.

Make sure you invoke pip from it's location in your ComfyUI installation. For me on my Mac it's in ComfyUI > venv > bin.

Yeah I backed up my models and whatnot, deleted everything and reinstalled using homebrew through a venv. I did not do that initially. Then created a .command to execute everything using the --force-upcast-attention and now everything works. Comfyui manager is working great now. I still cannot get my system to upgrade to the latest version of pip. After a complete reset using homebrew and a venv I got it to 25 but not 25.0.1 so I get that message.
