how to manually install the nightly version of noda
There is an api that allows me to see the list of node versions:
curl --request GET
--url https://api.comfy.org/nodes/comfyui_essentials/versions
similar results can be obtained with the command
git log -p -- pyproject.toml | grep -E 'commit|version = '
unfortunately neither method shows the nightly version.
I need to programmatically install the nigtly version of the node in custom nodes
can you please advise me how to do this?
@ltdrdata commented on GitHub (Mar 20, 2025):
A node pack installed via git cloning is an unversioned node pack. Therefore, instead of a versioned archive from the registry, an unversioned node pack installed via git clone is referred to as the nightly version.
Instead of using
you can use
to get detailed information about the node pack. If you clone the repository from this information using
git clone, that is thenightlyversion.
