Since I've downloaded multiple custom nodes that modified my dependencies in very harsh rollbacks, I've been very cautious to always look at the requirements.txt of every new custom node I install. I thought it would be nice if the Manager showed the new dependencies version we would need to install.
The simplest implementation would just display the requirements.txt file list in the manager just like how the Node preview works as tooltip.
Best implementation would be to display what the user have vs what it needs to download and shows in green if your current version good compared to the requirement (User has accelerate version 1.3.0 | Custom node requires accelerate >= 1.2.0). Perhaps the manager could inspect with a pip show dependencies or if there are alternative methods.
At the same time, I hear that ComfyUI wants to make custom node devs on the same pages on what tools to use so that there are less conflicts in the future by making better guides, so I'd wish these dependency conflicts won't be an issue in the future. It is just very annoying to restore back if you're not aware of the changes.
