I have been maintaining my Inpainting Workflow now on GutHub... I thought about changing the structure to make the workflows saved on example_workflows so maybe people that use it can keep up to date to the latest version in an easier way by updating through the ComfyUI manager.
I know that ideally it should be stored under ComfyUI\user\default\workflows
1- Can I apply my project as to be searchable in comfyUI manager even if it would not have any real node? Would that be allowed?
2- Could comfyui-manager install my "project" on ComfyUI6\user\default\workflows instead of "custom_nodes"?
Thanks.

I think it would be better to distribute it as a node pack that includes
example_workflows, for easier management in various aspects.@diodiogod commented on GitHub (Jun 6, 2025):
So it would be allowed? I didn't know if it was allowed by the manager rules since it isn't really a custom node.
Putting the current versions on
example_workflowswould be enough for me to update it to the users. It would be really great.@ltdrdata commented on GitHub (Jun 7, 2025):
There is absolutely no problem as long as it is structured so that it can be installed like other node packs
