I can not install any nodes.
I am using the latest ComfyUI Manager 3.34.1 and everything (Comfyui and the Manager) are up to date.
I am using ComfyUI Portable.
For the config.ini I set bypass_ssl=True
Yet that seems to be ignored and I get the following:
File "D:\ComfyUI_windows_portable\python_embeded\Lib\site-packages\requests\adapters.py", line 698, in send
raise SSLError(e, request=request)
requests.exceptions.SSLError: HTTPSConnectionPool(host='api.comfy.org', port=443): Max retries exceeded with url: /nodes/comfyui_controlnet_aux/install?version=1.1.0 (Caused by SSLError(SSLCertVerificationError(1, '[SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED] certificate verify failed: unable to get local issuer certificate (_ssl.c:1010)')))

@ltdrdata commented on GitHub (Jul 22, 2025):
Can you access following url?
https://api.comfy.org/nodes/comfyui_controlnet_aux/install?version=1.1.0
@creatorbrew commented on GitHub (Jul 22, 2025):
Yes, if you are asking if I can click on that url and see the response.
@creatorbrew commented on GitHub (Jul 22, 2025):
I'm sure it has something to do with the corp laptop, vs my home tower (which are sitting next to one another . Home tower works just did a fresh comfyui portable and manager install on that one). Corp with ComfyUI works except for manager. Trying to troubleshoot why. bypass_ssl doesn't help.
This is Windows 11 Enterprise, running ComfyUI portable.

@ltdrdata commented on GitHub (Jul 22, 2025):
Oh... bypass property wasn't applied to the registry API.
@creatorbrew commented on GitHub (Jul 23, 2025):
yeah, that part, thought bypass would rescue me, it turned out to be a tunneling lockdown of the security software on the laptop. I had that tunnel issue opened up and now everything works.
But shouldn't have bypass also worked?
Asking for other people with Corp computers that might hit this tunneling issue and IT can't so generous to open up tunneling for other reasons.
If the bypass wouldn't help in this situation then the issue should be closed.
@ltdrdata commented on GitHub (Jul 23, 2025):
This issue is fixed. Please update to the latest version (v3.34.2)
@iremsinmaz commented on GitHub (Aug 14, 2025):
Hi, I got the same issue and can not access this url. Is there something about my internet connection?
@ltdrdata commented on GitHub (Aug 14, 2025):
Try with VPN.
