You seriously annoying lot of people here with this fetching data every time comfyui starts. REMOVE IT! Or make it obvious to disable. As it is also appear to be a full time investigation project of how to disable it. Stupid AI and disgusting google advice to set network mode to offline or private inside config.ini. You do so and it still going from 0 to 150 for next 5 minutes every time you boot. WTF is wrong with you guys? Bunch of chinese and indian coders with russian project manager?

We’re sorry about that. Work is already underway to remove that behavior, but it’s taking time because it requires extensive changes not only to ComfyUI-Manager itself but across multiple parts of the system.
However, the “fetching data” message is only a simple notification. Does it actually prevent you from using ComfyUI while it’s running?
@GlamoramaAttack commented on GitHub (Dec 5, 2025):
I think the nuisance is more about the length of messages the Comfy-Manager displays, even about some nodes that aren't installed, for example this current one:
I'm aware this is something to ignore but it adds to other custom-nodes with messages like this...
... where you tend to ignore important error messages because it seems to be growing instead of decreasing, despite having no real errors. And the last quote isn't Manager related but one could think: are those custom-nodes a new discussion forum? ;-)
If someone could do something about guidelines for custom-nodes, please have one about a setting in ComfyUi that allows the user to stop all irrelevant messages. Some rare config.jsons of some custom-nodes actually offer it, for example was-node-suite-comfyui...
... but those are sadly exceptions.
