ComfyUI_NVIDIA_RTX_Nodes install via ComfyUI manager still fails and nobody seems to address.
This issue has been around since day1 but nobody fixes it. Why the XXXX is going on?

I don't know if this will help, but I managed to install it manually via GIT after adding the necessary modules:

  1. ./python.exe -m pip install wheel-stub

  2. ./python.exe -m pip install nvidia-vfx

FIX (that make RTX NODES forks in COMFYUI):
.\python_embeded\python.exe -m pip install nvidia-vfx --extra-index-url https://pypi.nvidia.com
and manually
git clone https://github.com/Comfy-Org/Nvidia_RTX_Nodes_ComfyUI.git

_previous solution doesn't work (pip can't find repo)

  • ./python.exe -m pip install wheel-stub
  • ./python.exe -m pip install nvidia-vfx_

@Psydis thank you. This solution worked for me.
I've installed the RTX Node Pack first, after it couldn't be imported after restarting ComfyUI, I added this two lines, then the import of the new nodes was successful
./python.exe -m pip install wheel-stub
./python.exe -m pip install nvidia-vfx

For me wheel_stub can't install on portable, it has a python313._pth file that makes it ignore the pip env. You'll end up with pip._vendor.pyproject_hooks._impl.BackendUnavailable: Cannot import 'wheel_stub.buildapi'
