Execute the following commands in order:
Upgrade pip and build tools
python -m pip install --upgrade pip setuptools wheel buildInstall missing dependencies required for compiling wheels
python -m pip install wheel-stubpython -m pip install nvidia-vfxORalternative
python -m pip install -U --no-build-isolation nvidia-vfx --index-url https://pypi.nvidia.com(Use this alternative command if you encounter issues with the first one)
@ghost commented on GitHub (Mar 12, 2026):
Which directory should we be running that command from? Main folder, python_embedded, Custom Nodes or somewhere else?
i.e. should it be python_embedded\python.exe -m pip install --upgrade pip setuptools wheel build ? Or something different?
I know that might seem like a simple question but so many things need to be installed in different ways depending on where those dependencies need to end up, don't want to put them in the wrong place.
@hugo4711 commented on GitHub (Mar 12, 2026):
I just installed everything with
python_embeded\python.exe -m pip installit works. Thanks!@ghost commented on GitHub (Mar 12, 2026):
Ok, that's good to know, thanks.
Edit: Just to confirm, everything is now working after following the OP's comment with the help from hugo, thanks guys/gals, us newbies appreciate the help.

Installed node with this commands above now got new errors. RTX4080
Running python -m pip install nvidia-vfx it say it is already satisfied.

Having same NvVFX_Load failed on 595.45
@woruteyqi commented on GitHub (Mar 17, 2026):
For all instances of error code -12, ensure that you are not running the application in a Docker environment. Additionally, verify that you are using the latest CUDA version compatible with your GPU model, and that all CUDA-dependent libraries match your currently installed CUDA version.

Lol what? This is the exact use case that I need it for....
