Install wheel_stub manually, had same issue. python_embeded\python.exe -m pip install wheel_stub

With ComfyUI 0.30, installing "nvidia_video_effects_sdk_installer_v0.7.6_blackwell" ( or the proper effects kit for your card) was enough to fix it. With ComfyUI 0.33, that fix no longer works. Since my newer installation of ComfyUI uses the exact same Python version, I had to copy the
\Lib\site-packages\nvidia_vfx-0.1.0.1.dist-info and \Lib\site-packages\nvvfx from the ComfyUI 0.30 install to the ComfyUI 0.33 install. That fixed it. Always hang on to your working install before updating ComfyUI. The question now is what changed between 0.30 and 0.33 to break it? pip is the same version on both installs.

i did this but after i first tried to install, didnt work ---then i deleted the node
and retried a new install and it went thru --- so if you have a fail--remove the node //delete from comfyui
then try and install after adding this to your system
