## Summary
Migrate the default combo widget select from the PrimeVue `SelectPlus`
wrapper to a Reka `Combobox` implementation while preserving the
existing Comfy combo widget contract and the node-canvas dropdown
behavior.
## Changes
- **What**: Rewrites `WidgetSelectDefault.vue` on top of Reka
`ComboboxRoot`, `ComboboxTrigger`, `ComboboxInput`, `ComboboxContent`,
and `ComboboxItem`.
- **What**: Preserves the default combo widget surface: `v-model`,
`widget` prop, `aria-label` from the widget name/label,
`data-capture-wheel`, disabled state, placeholder/filter placeholder,
default slot controls, invalid current value display, array values,
dynamic/factory values, and `getOptionLabel` fallback behavior.
- **What**: Keeps dynamic `values` compatibility by refreshing
function-backed options when the dropdown opens, without re-evaluating
the factory on every search keystroke.
- **What**: Deletes the now-unused PrimeVue `SelectPlus.vue` wrapper and
removes the PrimeVue test plugin/stub path from the default widget
select tests.
- **What**: Updates App Mode dropdown clipping coverage and combo-widget
browser coverage to target the new Reka overlay/viewport structure.
- **Breaking**: No breaking change is intended for the documented Comfy
combo widget contract. This migration does not preserve incidental
PrimeVue `Select` prop pass-through from `widget.options`; that was a
side effect of wrapping PrimeVue rather than a stable widget API.
- **Dependencies**: No new dependencies.
## Review Focus
### Compatibility choices
The goal of this PR is a migration PR, not a broad behavior redesign.
The new implementation keeps the Comfy-specific combo contract rather
than attempting to emulate PrimeVue internals. In particular:
- `values` still accepts arrays and functions, and function values are
re-read on open to support dynamic/custom node option sources.
- `getOptionLabel(value) || value` is intentionally preserved to match
the sibling dropdown path and avoid turning an empty-string label into a
blank rendered option.
- Invalid/current values that are not present in the option list are
still rendered in the trigger instead of disappearing.
- `WidgetWithControl` continues to render its default slot in the
control area, with trigger text truncation preserved.
- App Mode `OverlayAppendToKey='body'` continues to map to a body portal
to avoid panel clipping.
### Visual alignment and screenshot updates
The previous PrimeVue implementation passed `size="small"`, which
injected internal `.p-select-sm .p-select-label` styling. That internal
PrimeVue style used its own small-select font size and padding,
overriding the surrounding widget sizing intent and making the select
trigger subtly taller with slightly larger text than nearby inline node
widget controls.
The Reka implementation intentionally keeps the normal widget styling
path instead of recreating that PrimeVue-specific internal override.
This means the trigger follows the same inline widget sizing direction
as neighboring controls rather than preserving the incidental PrimeVue
height/text-size delta. Because this is an expected visual difference
from the migration, the affected E2E screenshots should be recaptured
instead of treating the old PrimeVue select height as the target.
### Scrollbar and focus behavior
Reka provides the combobox/listbox semantics we want, including search,
arrow navigation, highlighted items, and Enter selection. The tricky
part is the canvas dropdown scrollbar behavior. The native Reka viewport
path hides/owns scrollbar behavior in a way that made it hard to
preserve the previous widget dropdown affordances, especially visible
scrollbars and mouse wheel capture over the node canvas.
To keep the previous behavior, this PR renders a dedicated scrollable
viewport inside `ComboboxContent` with the project scrollbar utilities
(`scrollbar-thin`, stable gutter, transparent track). That preserves
visible scroll affordance and allows wheel events over the dropdown to
scroll the list instead of zooming the canvas.
There was one Reka interaction to account for: pressing the native
scrollbar can be treated as a focus-outside event from the search input,
which previously closed the dropdown on mouse down or caused subsequent
wheel events to leak back to the canvas. The new
`useRestoreFocusOnViewportPointer` composable handles only that short
pointer gesture:
- viewport pointerdown marks a short-lived scrollbar/viewport
interaction,
- the next focus-outside event is prevented only if the search input can
be restored,
- the guard is cleared by `pointerup`, `pointercancel`, and a timeout so
normal outside clicks still close the dropdown.
### Tests and regression coverage
Unit coverage was updated around the new Reka implementation:
- option sources from arrays and functions,
- dynamic values refreshed on open but not on each search keystroke,
- selection updates and blank/undefined Reka emissions being ignored,
- search filtering and Reka keyboard selection behavior,
- disabled state, invalid current values, `getOptionLabel`, empty
results status, and WidgetWithControl slot preservation,
- composable coverage for pointerup, pointercancel, repeated pointerdown
listener cleanup, and no-input/no-op behavior.
Browser regression coverage now checks the canvas-specific interaction
surface:
- opening and selecting default combo widget options,
- wheel over the dropdown scrolls the list instead of zooming the
canvas,
- pressing the scrollbar does not close the dropdown,
- wheel capture still works after pressing the scrollbar,
- opening another node widget closes the previous dropdown,
- switching between node widgets preserves dropdown scroll capture,
- serialize/reload retains selected combo values.

## Summary
Replaces #12164.
Right-clicking a Vue node, using the selection toolbox More Options
menu, or clicking the selection toolbox Node Info button now opens the
right-side Info tab only when the new-menu UI makes that panel
available. Legacy-menu contexts hide the no-op action even when the
legacy node library design is selected; node-library help remains
isolated to the node library itself. The existing
`selection_toolbox_node_info_opened` telemetry fires only after the
toolbox button successfully opens node info. No new context-menu
telemetry event is added in this PR.
## Changes
- **What**: Share the node-info availability/action path across the
context menu and selection toolbox, keep legacy-menu state out of the
right-side panel public store API, tighten node-info settings tests, and
add unit plus E2E regression coverage for new-menu and legacy-menu
modes.
- **Dependencies**: None
## Review Focus
Confirm the node context menu, selection toolbox direct Info button, and
selection toolbox More Options entry all respect right-side panel
availability, including legacy menu + legacy node library mode, while
node-library help behavior remains isolated to the node library.
## Validation

## Summary
Adds new `plum` and `ink` color scales for Comfy Hub branding and
standardizes existing tokens to align with current Figma design system.
### Changes
**Phase 1 — New primitives** (`_palette.css`)
- Added `plum-300/400/500/600` and `ink-100` through `ink-900`
**Phase 2 — Token cleanup** (`style.css`)
- Removed deprecated `slate-100/200/300` primitives (cool blue-grey,
removed from Figma)
- Removed duplicate `graphite-400` (identical hex to slate-100)
- Dark mode: migrated 6 slate/graphite references to muted-foreground,
smoke-700, smoke-800, charcoal-200
- Light mode: replaced 3 `ash-500` references with `smoke-800` per
designer alignment
### Token migration detail
| Dark mode token | Old value | New value | Rationale |
|---|---|---|---|
| `--node-component-header-icon` | slate-300 (#5b5e7d) |
muted-foreground (smoke-800) | Figma `node/foreground-secondary` |
| `--node-component-slot-text` | slate-200 (#9fa2bd) | smoke-700
(#a0a0a0) | Lighter neutral for text contrast |
| `--node-component-surface-highlight` | slate-100 (#9c9eab) | smoke-800
(#8a8a8a) | Neutral grey highlight |
| `--node-component-tooltip-border` | slate-300 (#5b5e7d) | charcoal-200
(#494a50) | Consistent with dark border tokens |
| `--text-secondary` | slate-100 (#9c9eab) | smoke-700 (#a0a0a0) |
Adequate contrast on dark surfaces |
| `--widget-background-highlighted` | graphite-400 (#9c9eab) | smoke-800
(#8a8a8a) | Removed duplicate, neutral replacement |
### Visual note
These changes shift some dark mode colors from cool blue-grey to neutral
grey. This is intentional per the design team. The
`--node-component-surface-highlight` and
`--node-component-tooltip-border` tokens should be QA'd as the designer
noted.
### Not included (Phase 3)
Hub Dark overlay theme will ship separately once the Hub UI work is
ready to validate against.

## Summary
Refactor node footer from absolute overlay to inline flow layout, fixing
the selection bounding box not encompassing footer buttons and collapsed
node dimensions.
## Background
The node footer (Enter Subgraph, Advanced, Error buttons) was rendered
as an absolute overlay (`absolute top-full`) outside the node body. This
caused:
1. **Selection bounding box** did not include footer height — the dashed
multi-select border cut through footer buttons
2. **Footer offset compensation** required 3 hardcoded computed classes
(`footerStateOutlineBottomClass`, `footerRootBorderBottomClass`,
`footerResizeHandleBottomClass`) with magic pixel values (31px, 35px,
etc.) that had to stay in sync with CSS
## Solution: Inline Footer with `isolate -z-1`
The footer is moved into normal document flow (no longer `absolute
top-full`). The key challenge was keeping the footer visually behind the
body's rounded bottom edge (the "tuck under" effect) without adding
`z-index` to the body — because adding `z-index` to the body creates a
stacking context that traps slot connection dots, making them appear
behind overlay borders.
The solution uses CSS `isolation: isolate` combined with `-z-1` on the
footer wrapper:
- **`isolate`** creates an independent stacking context for the footer,
so internal z-index (Error button `z-10` above Enter button) does not
leak to the parent
- **`-z-1`** places the entire footer behind the body (`z-index: auto`),
achieving the visual overlap without touching the body's stacking
behavior
- **Slot dots remain free** — the body has no explicit z-index, so slots
participate in the root stacking context and are never trapped behind
overlay borders
This eliminates all 3 footer offset computed classes and their hardcoded
pixel values.
## Selection Box: `min-height` on root + unified size path
Moving `min-h-(--node-height)` from the body (`node-inner-wrapper`) to
the root element makes the footer height naturally included in
`node.size` via ResizeObserver → layoutStore → litegraph sync. This
means `boundingRect` is automatically correct for expanded nodes — no
callbacks or overrides needed.
For collapsed nodes, a pre-existing issue (since v1.40) caused
`_collapsed_width` to fall back to `NODE_COLLAPSED_WIDTH = 80px` because
Vue nodes lack a canvas context for text measurement.
The fix lets collapsed dimensions flow through the **same**
`batchUpdateNodeBounds` path as expanded nodes — no parallel data
structure, no separate accessor, no cache:
1. ResizeObserver writes the collapsed DOM dimensions to
`layoutStore.size` via `batchUpdateNodeBounds`
2. `useLayoutSync` syncs `layoutStore.size` → `liteNode.size` as it does
for any other size change
3. The expanded size survives the collapse→expand round trip via CSS
custom properties — the `isCollapsed` watcher in `LGraphNode.vue` swaps
`--node-width` to `--node-width-x` on collapse and restores it on expand
4. `measure()` reads `this.size` directly for Vue collapsed nodes via a
one-line gate: `if (!this.flags?.collapsed || LiteGraph.vueNodesMode)`.
Legacy behavior is unchanged.
## Changes
- **NodeFooter.vue**: `absolute top-full` overlay → inline flow with
`isolate -z-1` wrappers, Error/Enter button layering via `-mr-5` + DOM
order, reactive props destructuring, static `RADIUS_CLASS` lookup for
Tailwind scanning, Vue 3.3+ `defineEmits` property syntax
- **LGraphNode.vue**: Move `min-h-(--node-height)` from body to root;
remove `footerStateOutlineBottomClass`, `footerRootBorderBottomClass`,
`footerResizeHandleBottomClass`, `hasFooter` computed; replace dynamic
`beforeShapeClass` interpolation with static
`bypassOverlayClass`/`mutedOverlayClass` computeds for Tailwind scanning
- **LGraphNode.ts**: `measure()` collapsed branch gated by `||
LiteGraph.vueNodesMode` — Vue mode defers to `this.size`; legacy path
unchanged
- **useVueNodeResizeTracking.ts**: Collapsed and expanded nodes both
flow through `batchUpdateNodeBounds`; narrowed `useVueElementTracking`
parameter from `MaybeRefOrGetter<string>` to `string`;
`deferredElements.delete(element)` on unmount to prevent memory
retention
- **selectionBorder.ts**: Unchanged — `createBounds` just works because
`boundingRect` is now correct
- **12 parameterized E2E tests**: Vue mode (subgraph/regular ×
expanded/collapsed × bottom-left/bottom-right) + legacy mode
(expanded/collapsed × bottom-left/bottom-right), driven by
`keyboard.collapse()` (Alt+C)
- **Unit tests**: `measure()` branching (legacy fallback, Vue
`this.size` usage, expanded parity)
- **Shared test helpers**: `repositionNodes`, `KeyboardHelper.collapse`,
`measureSelectionBounds`, `assertSelectionEncompassesNodes`
## Review Focus
- `isolate -z-1` CSS layering pattern — is this acceptable long-term?
- `measure()` collapsed branch gated on `LiteGraph.vueNodesMode` —
one-line gate to avoid the canvas-ctx-less fallback in Vue mode
- Footer button overlap design (`-mr-5` with DOM order for painting)

## Summary
Follow-up cleanup for #11184 — removes redundant test setup calls that
the `@vue-nodes` fixture now handles.
## Changes
- **What**: Remove 40 lines of redundant `setSetting`, `setup()`, and
`waitForNodes()` calls across 11 test files
- `UseNewMenu: 'Top'` calls (already fixture default)
- `setup()` + `waitForNodes()` on default workflow (fixture already does
this for `@vue-nodes`)
- Page reload in `subgraphZeroUuid` (fixture applies VueNodes.Enabled
server-side before navigation)
## Review Focus
Each removal was verified against the fixture's `setupSettings()`
defaults (ComfyPage.ts:420-442) and the `@vue-nodes` auto-setup (lines
454-456). Tests that call `setup()`/`waitForNodes()` after
`loadWorkflow()` or `page.evaluate()` were intentionally kept.

## Summary
Add eslint-plugin-playwright as an oxlint JS plugin scoped to
browser_tests/, enforcing Playwright best practices at lint time.
## Changes
- **What**: Configure eslint-plugin-playwright@2.10.1 via oxlint's alpha
`jsPlugins` field (`.oxlintrc.json` override scoped to
`browser_tests/**/*.ts`). 18 recommended rules +
`prefer-native-locators` + `require-to-pass-timeout` at error severity.
All 173 initial violations resolved (config, auto-fix, manual fixes).
`no-force-option` set to off — 28 violations need triage (canvas overlay
workarounds vs unnecessary force) in a dedicated PR.
- **Dependencies**: `eslint-plugin-playwright@^2.10.1` (devDependency,
required by oxlint jsPlugins at runtime)
## Review Focus
- `.oxlintrc.json` override structure — this is the first use of
oxlint's JS plugins alpha feature in this repo
- Manual fixes in spec files: `waitForSelector` → `locator.waitFor`,
deprecated page methods → locator equivalents, `toPass()` timeout
additions
- Compound CSS selectors replaced with `.and()` (Playwright native
locator composition) to avoid `prefer-native-locators` suppressions
- Lint script changes in `package.json` to include `browser_tests/` in
oxlint targets

## Summary
Add Playwright coverage for two previously-untested canvas gestures:
Alt+drag to duplicate a regular node, and holding Meta across
click-click-click-drag to move multiple selected Vue nodes together.
## Changes
- **What**:
- `browser_tests/tests/interaction.spec.ts` — new `Node Duplication`
sub-describe with `Can duplicate a regular node via Alt+drag`. Asserts
CLIPTextEncode count goes 2 → 3 via poll, original node still exists.
Exercises the legacy canvas path at
`src/lib/litegraph/src/LGraphCanvas.ts:2434-2458`, which was only tested
for subgraph nodes before.
- `browser_tests/tests/vueNodes/interactions/node/move.spec.ts` — new
`should move all selected nodes together when dragging one with Meta
held`. Holds Meta for the entire sequence (3× `click({ modifiers:
['Meta'] })` + drag), asserts selection stays at 3 and all three nodes
move by the same delta. Exercises
`src/renderer/extensions/vueNodes/layout/useNodeDrag.ts:54-191`.
- Small refactor: `getLoadCheckpointHeaderPos` now delegates to a
reusable `getHeaderPos(comfyPage, title)` helper. Added `deltaBetween`
and `expectSameDelta` utilities (stricter than `expectPosChanged`, which
only checks `> 0`).

## Summary
Alright, alright, alright. These e2e tests have been runnin' around like
they're late for somethin', settin' tight little timeouts like the
world's gonna end in 250 milliseconds. Man, you gotta *breathe*. Let the
framework do its thing. Go slow to go fast, that's what I always say.
## Changes
- **What**: Removed ~120 redundant timeout overrides from auto-retrying
Playwright assertions (`toBeVisible`, `toBeHidden`, `toHaveCount`,
`toBeEnabled`, `toHaveAttribute`, `toContainText`, `expect.poll`) where
5000ms is already the default. Also removed sub-5s timeouts (1s, 2s, 3s)
that were just *begging* for flaky failures — like wearin' a belt and
suspenders and also holdin' your pants up with both hands. Raised the
absurdly short timeouts in `customMatchers.ts` (250ms `toPass` → 5000ms,
256ms poll → default). Kept `timeout: 5000` on `.toPass()` calls
(defaults to 0), `.waitFor()`, `waitForRequest`, `waitForFunction`,
intentionally-short timeouts inside retry loops, and conditional
`.isVisible()/.catch()` checks — those fellas actually need the help.
## Review Focus
Every remaining timeout in the diff is there for a *reason*. The ones on
`.toPass()` stay because that API defaults to zero — it won't retry at
all without one. The ones on `.waitFor()` and `waitForRequest` stay
because those are locator actions, not auto-retrying assertions. The
intentionally-short ones inside `toPass` retry loops
(`interaction.spec.ts`) and the negative assertions (`actionbar.spec.ts`
confirming no response arrives) — those are *supposed* to be tight.
The short timeouts on regular assertions were actively *encouragin'*
flaky failures. That's like settin' your alarm for 4 AM and then gettin'
mad you're tired. Just... don't do that, man. Let things take the time
they need.

## Summary
Complete the @e2e/ path alias migration started in #10735 by converting
all 354 remaining relative imports and adding a lint rule to prevent
backsliding.
## Changes
- **What**: Migrate all relative imports in browser_tests/ to use
`@e2e/` (intra-directory) and `@/` (src/ imports) path aliases. Add
`no-restricted-imports` ESLint rule banning `./` and `../` imports in
`browser_tests/**/*.ts`. Suppress pre-existing oxlint `no-eval` and
`no-console` warnings exposed by touching those files.
## Review Focus
- ESLint flat-config merging: the `@playwright/test` ban and
relative-import ban are in two separate blocks to avoid last-match-wins
collision with the `useI18n`/`useVirtualList` blocks higher in the
config.
- The `['./**', '../**']` glob patterns (not `['./*', '../*']`) are
needed to catch multi-level relative paths like `../../../src/foo`.

## Summary
Extract duplicated click-vs-drag detection logic into a shared
`useClickDragGuard` composable and `exceedsClickThreshold` pure utility
function.
## Changes
- **What**: New `useClickDragGuard(threshold)` composable in
`src/composables/useClickDragGuard.ts` that stores pointer start
position and checks squared distance against a threshold. Also exports
`exceedsClickThreshold` for non-Vue contexts.
- Migrated `DropZone.vue`, `useNodePointerInteractions.ts`, and
`Load3d.ts` to use the shared utility
- `CanvasPointer.ts` left as-is (LiteGraph internal)
- All consumers now use squared-distance comparison (no `Math.sqrt` or
per-axis `Math.abs`)
## Review Focus
- The composable uses plain `let` state instead of `ref` since
reactivity is not needed for the start position
- `Load3d.ts` uses the pure `exceedsClickThreshold` function directly
since it is a class, not a Vue component
- Threshold values preserved per-consumer: DropZone=5,
useNodePointerInteractions=3, Load3d=5

## Summary
Refactors the error and subgraph node footer UI by extracting a
dedicated `NodeFooter` component and replacing the CSS `outline`
approach with a layered border overlay for selection/executing state
indicators.
## Changes
- **What**: Extracted `NodeFooter.vue` from `LGraphNode.vue` to
encapsulate the footer tab logic (subgraph enter, error, advanced
inputs). Replaced CSS `outline` with an absolutely-positioned border
overlay div for selection and executing state. Added a separate root
border overlay div for the node body border. Removed unused
`isTransparent` function from `colorUtil.ts`.
- **Dependencies**: None
## Review Focus
- The layered overlay approach (`absolute -inset-[3px] border-3`) for
selection/executing outlines vs the previous `outline-3` approach —
ensures the outline renders outside the node bounds correctly including
the footer area
- `NodeFooter` handles 4 cases: subgraph+error (dual tabs), error only,
subgraph only, advanced inputs — verify edge cases render correctly
- Resize handle bottom offset adjustments for nodes with footers
(`hasFooter`)

upload and tags; profile gate flow; shared workflow URL loader with
confirmation dialog
- **Dependencies**: None (new `sharing/` module under
`src/platform/workflow/`)
## Review Focus
- Three new feature flags: `workflow_sharing_enabled`,
`comfyhub_upload_enabled`, `comfyhub_profile_gate_enabled`

## Summary
Replace the Proxy-based proxy widget system with a store-driven
architecture where `promotionStore` and `widgetValueStore` are the
single sources of truth for subgraph widget promotion and widget values,
and `SubgraphNode.widgets` is a synthetic getter composing lightweight
`PromotedWidgetView` objects from store state.
## Motivation
The subgraph widget promotion system previously scattered state across
multiple unsynchronized layers:
- **Persistence**: `node.properties.proxyWidgets` (tuples on the
LiteGraph node)
- **Runtime**: Proxy-based `proxyWidget.ts` with `Overlay` objects,
`DisconnectedWidget` singleton, and `isProxyWidget` type guards
- **UI**: Each Vue component independently calling `parseProxyWidgets()`
via `customRef` hacks
- **Mutation flags**: Imperative `widget.promoted = true/false` set on
`subgraph-opened` events
This led to 4+ independent parsings of the same data, complex cache
invalidation, and no reactive contract between the promotion state and
the rendering layer. Widget values were similarly owned by LiteGraph
with no Vue-reactive backing.
The core principle driving these changes: **Vue owns truth**. Pinia
stores are the canonical source; LiteGraph objects delegate to stores
via getters/setters; Vue components react to store state directly.
## Changes
### New stores (single sources of truth)
- **`promotionStore`** — Reactive `Map<NodeId, PromotionEntry[]>`
tracking which interior widgets are promoted on which SubgraphNode
instances. Graph-scoped by root graph ID to prevent cross-workflow state
collision. Replaces `properties.proxyWidgets` parsing, `customRef`
hacks, `widget.promoted` mutation, and the `subgraph-opened` event
listener.
- **`widgetValueStore`** — Graph-scoped `Map<WidgetKey, WidgetState>`
that is the canonical owner of widget values. `BaseWidget.value`
delegates to this store via getter/setter when a node ID is assigned.
Eliminates the need for Proxy-based value forwarding.
### Synthetic widgets getter (SubgraphNode)
`SubgraphNode.widgets` is now a getter that reads
`promotionStore.getPromotions(rootGraphId, nodeId)` and returns cached
`PromotedWidgetView` objects. No stubs, no Proxies, no fake widgets
persisted in the array. The setter is a no-op — mutations go through
`promotionStore`.
### PromotedWidgetView
A class behind a `createPromotedWidgetView` factory, implementing the
`PromotedWidgetView` interface. Delegates value/type/options/drawing to
the resolved interior widget and stores. Owns positional state (`y`,
`computedHeight`) for canvas layout. Cached by
`PromotedWidgetViewManager` for object-identity stability across frames.
### DOM widget promotion
Promoted DOM widgets (textarea, image upload, etc.) render on the
SubgraphNode surface via `positionOverride` in `domWidgetStore`.
`DomWidgets.vue` checks for overrides and uses the SubgraphNode's
coordinates instead of the interior node's.
### Promoted previews
New `usePromotedPreviews` composable resolves image/audio/video preview
widgets from promoted entries, enabling SubgraphNodes to display
previews of interior preview nodes.
### Deleted
- `proxyWidget.ts` (257 lines) — Proxy handler, `Overlay`,
`newProxyWidget`, `isProxyWidget`
- `DisconnectedWidget.ts` (39 lines) — Singleton Proxy target
- `useValueTransform.ts` (32 lines) — Replaced by store delegation
### Key architectural changes
- `BaseWidget.value` getter/setter delegates to `widgetValueStore` when
node ID is set
- `LGraph.add()` reordered: `node.graph` assigned before widget
`setNodeId` (enables store registration)
- `LGraph.clear()` cleans up graph-scoped stores to prevent stale
entries across workflow switches
- `promotionStore` and `widgetValueStore` state nested under root graph
UUID for multi-workflow isolation
- `SubgraphNode.serialize()` writes promotions back to
`properties.proxyWidgets` for persistence compatibility
- Legacy `-1` promotion entries resolved and migrated on first load with
dev warning
## Test coverage
- **3,700+ lines of new/updated tests** across 36 test files
- **Unit**: `promotionStore.test.ts`, `widgetValueStore.test.ts`,
`promotedWidgetView.test.ts` (921 lines),
`subgraphNodePromotion.test.ts`, `proxyWidgetUtils.test.ts`,
`DomWidgets.test.ts`, `PromotedWidgetViewManager.test.ts`,
`usePromotedPreviews.test.ts`, `resolvePromotedWidget.test.ts`,
`subgraphPseudoWidgetCache.test.ts`
- **E2E**: `subgraphPromotion.spec.ts` (622 lines) — promote/demote,
manual/auto promotion, paste preservation, seed control augmentation,
image preview promotion; `imagePreview.spec.ts` extended with
multi-promoted-preview coverage
- **Fixtures**: 2 new subgraph workflow fixtures for preview promotion
scenarios
## Review focus
- Graph-scoped store keying (`rootGraphId`) — verify isolation across
workflows/tabs and cleanup on `LGraph.clear()`
- `PromotedWidgetView` positional stability — `_arrangeWidgets` writes
to `y`/`computedHeight` on cached objects; getter returns fresh array
but stable object references
- DOM widget position override lifecycle — overrides set on promote,
cleared on demote/removal/subgraph navigation
- Legacy `-1` entry migration — resolved and written back on first load;
unresolvable entries dropped with dev warning
- Serialization round-trip — `promotionStore` state →
`properties.proxyWidgets` on serialize, hydrated back on configure
## Diff breakdown (excluding lockfile)

pnpm-lock.yaml churn)

## Summary
Replace PrimeVue `FloatLabel` + `Textarea` in `WidgetTextarea` with a
CSS-only IFTA label and a new shadcn-vue Textarea component, fixing the
label-obscures-content bug.
<img width="965" height="754" alt="image"
src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/cab98527-834c-496d-a0ef-942fb21fd862"
/>
## Changes
- **What**: Add `src/components/ui/textarea/Textarea.vue` — thin wrapper
around native `<textarea>` with `cn()` class merging and `defineModel`.
Rewrite `WidgetTextarea.vue` to use a plain `<div>` wrapper with an
absolutely-positioned label and the new Textarea, replacing PrimeVue's
`FloatLabel variant="in"`. Add Storybook stories (Default, Disabled,
WithLabel). Update tests to remove PrimeVue plugin setup.
## Review Focus
- The label uses `absolute left-3 top-1.5 z-10 text-xxs` positioning —
verify it clears textarea content with `pt-5` padding
- `filteredProps` forwards widget options to a native textarea via
`v-bind="restAttrs"` — unknown attrs are silently ignored by the browser

## Summary
Fixes missing "Copy Image", "Open Image", "Save Image", and "Open in

is enabled.
## Changes
- Add `syncLegacyNodeImgs` store method to sync loaded image elements to
`node.imgs`
- Call sync on image load in ImagePreview component
- Simplify mask editor handling to call composable directly
## Technical Details
- Only runs when `vueNodesMode` is enabled (no impact on legacy mode)
- Reuses already-loaded `<img>` element from Vue (no duplicate network
requests)
- Store owns the sync logic, component just hands off the element

## Summary
Increase stroke/outline weight for active node states to improve
visibility during workflow execution (COM-7770).
## Changes
- **What**: Increased border/stroke weight from 2 to 3 for active nodes
in both Vue Nodes and LiteGraph renderers
- Vue Nodes: `outline-2` → `outline-3` in `LGraphNode.vue`
- LiteGraph: `lineWidth: 3` for `running` stroke (was default 1) and
`executionError` stroke (was 2) in `litegraphService.ts`
- Updated test assertion to match
## Review Focus
Minimal visual change. The `executionError` lineWidth was also bumped
from 2 → 3 so error states remain at least as prominent as running
states.
> **Note:**
[#8603](https://github.com/Comfy-Org/ComfyUI_frontend/pull/8603) (by
@AustinMroz) also modifies `LGraphNode.vue` with a larger restructuring
(bottom buttons, badges, resize handle). The two PRs do not conflict —
#8603 does not touch the outline/border state classes or
`litegraphService.ts`, so both changes merge cleanly.

#7591 added a one tick delay to layout initialization in an attempt to
resolve some layouting discrepancies. However, it appears to have
reintroduced node scaling issues and introduced a new bug that prevents
cloning nodes with alt+drag in vue.
Alternatives methods of resolving the original issue are being
investigated, but this change was causing more harm than good.
The prior PR included other changes (like a testing fix). Those changes
remain beneficial and do not need to be reverted.
