a1c54ad7aa fix: add explicit type annotations to extension callback parameters (#8966)
Fixes #8882

Adds explicit type annotations to all extension callback parameters
(`nodeCreated`, `beforeRegisterNodeDef`, `addCustomNodeDefs`) across 14
core extension files. While the types were already inferred from the
`ComfyExtension` interface, explicit annotations improve readability and
make the code self-documenting.

## Changes

- Annotate `node` parameter as `LGraphNode` in all `nodeCreated`
callbacks
- Annotate `nodeType` as `typeof LGraphNode` and `nodeData` as
`ComfyNodeDef` in all `beforeRegisterNodeDef` callbacks
- Annotate `defs` as `Record<string, ComfyNodeDef>` in
`addCustomNodeDefs`
- Add necessary type imports where missing

a7c2115166 feat: add WidgetValueStore for centralized widget value management (#8594)
## Summary

Implements Phase 1 of the **Vue-owns-truth** pattern for widget values.
Widget values are now canonical in a Pinia store; `widget.value`
delegates to the store while preserving full backward compatibility.

## Changes

- **New store**: `src/stores/widgetValueStore.ts` - centralized widget
value storage with `get/set/remove/removeNode` API
- **BaseWidget integration**: `widget.value` getter/setter now delegates
to store when widget is associated with a node
- **LGraphNode wiring**: `addCustomWidget()` automatically calls
`widget.setNodeId(this.id)` to wire widgets to their nodes
- **Test fixes**: Added Pinia setup to test files that use widgets

## Why

This foundation enables:
- Vue components to reactively bind to widget values via `computed(() =>
store.get(...))`
- Future Yjs/CRDT backing for real-time collaboration
- Cleaner separation between Vue state and LiteGraph rendering

## Backward Compatibility

| Extension Pattern | Status |
|-------------------|--------|
| `widget.value = x` | Works unchanged |
| `node.widgets[i].value` | Works unchanged |
| `widget.callback` | Still fires |
| `node.onWidgetChanged` | Still fires |

## Testing

- 4252 unit tests pass
- Build succeeds

067d80c4ed refactor: migrate ES private fields to TypeScript private for Vue Proxy compatibility (#8440)
## Summary

Migrates ECMAScript private fields (`#`) to TypeScript private
(`private`) across LiteGraph to fix Vue Proxy reactivity
incompatibility.

## Problem

ES private fields (`#field`) are incompatible with Vue's Proxy-based
reactivity system - accessing `#field` through a Proxy throws
`TypeError: Cannot read private member from an object whose class did
not declare it`.

## Solution

- Converted all `#field` to `private _field` across 10 phases
- Added `toJSON()` methods to `LGraph`, `NodeSlot`, `NodeInputSlot`, and
`NodeOutputSlot` to prevent circular reference errors during
serialization (TypeScript private fields are visible to `JSON.stringify`
unlike true ES private fields)
- Made `DragAndScale.element.data` non-enumerable to break canvas
circular reference chain

## Testing

- All 4027 unit tests pass
- Added 9 new serialization tests to catch future circular reference
issues
- Browser tests (undo/redo, save workflows) verified working

dbb0bd961f Chore: TypeScript cleanup - remove 254 @ts-expect-error suppressions (#7884)
## Summary

Removes **254** `@ts-expect-error` suppressions through proper type
fixes rather than type assertions.

## Key Changes

### Type System Improvements
- Add `globalDefs` and `groupNodes` types to `ComfyAppWindowExtension`
- Extract interfaces for group node handling (`GroupNodeHandler`,
`InnerNodeOutput`, etc.)
- Add `getHandler()` helper to consolidate GROUP symbol access pattern

### Files Fixed
- **pnginfo.ts**: 39 suppressions removed via proper typing of
workflow/prompt data
- **app.ts**: 39 suppressions removed via interface extraction and type
narrowing
- **Tier 1 files**: 17 suppressions removed (maskeditor, imageDrawer,
groupNode, etc.)
- **groupNode.ts**: Major refactoring with proper interface organization

## Approach

Following established constraints:
- No `any` types
- No `as unknown as T` casts (except legacy API boundaries)
- Priority: Fix actual types > Type narrowing > Targeted suppressions as
last resort
- Prefix unused callback parameters with underscore
- Extract repeated inline types into named interfaces

## Validation

- `pnpm typecheck` passes
- `pnpm lint` passes
- `pnpm knip` passes

43f0ac2e8f Chore: Typescript cleanup (1 / N) (#7817)
## Summary

Remove 178 `@ts-expect-error` suppressions (935 → 757, 19% reduction) by
fixing underlying type issues instead of suppressing errors.

## Changes

- **What**: Type safety improvements across `src/lib/litegraph/` and
related test files
  - Prefix unused callback parameters with `_` instead of suppressing
  - Use type intersections for mock methods on real objects
  - Use `Partial<T>` for incomplete test objects instead of `as unknown`
  - Add non-null assertions after `.toBeDefined()` checks in tests
  - Let TypeScript infer vitest fixture parameter types
- **Breaking**: None

## Review Focus

- `LGraphCanvas.ts` has the largest changes (232 lines) — all mechanical
unused parameter fixes
- Test files use type intersection pattern for mocks: `node as
LGraphNode & { mockFn: ... }`
- Removed dead code: `src/platform/cloud/onboarding/auth.ts` (47 lines,
unused)

### Key Files
| File | Change |
|------|--------|
| `LGraphCanvas.ts` | 57 suppressions removed (unused params) |
| `subgraph/__fixtures__/*` | Fixture type improvements |
| `*.test.ts` files | Mock typing with intersections |

f2a0e5102e Cleanup app.graph usage (#7399)
Prior to the release of subgraphs, there was a single graph accessed
through `app.graph`. Now that there's multiple graphs, there's a lot of
code that needs to be reviewed and potentially updated depending on if
it cares about nearby nodes, all nodes, or something else requiring
specific attention.

This was done by simply changing the type of `app.graph` to unknown so
the typechecker will complain about every place it's currently used.
References were then updated to `app.rootGraph` if the previous usage
was correct, or actually rewritten.

By not getting rid of `app.graph`, this change already ensures that
there's no loss of functionality for custom nodes, but the prior typing
of `app.graph` can always be restored if future dissuasion of
`app.graph` usage creates issues.

6fe88dba54 fix(telemetry): remove redundant run tracking; keep click analytics + single execution event (#6518)
## Summary
Deduplicates workflow run telemetry and keeps a single source of truth
for execution while retaining click analytics and attributing initiator
source.

- Keep execution tracking in one place via `trackWorkflowExecution()`
- Keep click analytics via `trackRunButton(...)`
- Attribute initiator with `trigger_source` = 'button' | 'keybinding' |
'legacy_ui'
- Remove pre‑tracking from keybindings to avoid double/triple counting
- Update legacy UI buttons to emit both click + execution events (they
bypass commands)

## Problem
PR #6499 added tracking at multiple layers:
1) Keybindings tracked via a dedicated method and then executed a
command
2) Menu items tracked via a dedicated method and then executed a command
3) Commands also tracked execution

Because these ultimately trigger the same command path, this produced
duplicate (sometimes triplicate) events per user action and made it hard
to attribute initiator precisely.

## Solution
- Remove redundant tracking from keybindings (and previous legacy menu
handler)
- Commands now emit both:
- `trackRunButton(...)` (click analytics, includes `trigger_source` when
provided)
- `trackWorkflowExecution()` (single execution start; includes the last
`trigger_source`)
- Legacy UI buttons (which call `app.queuePrompt(...)` directly) now
also emit both events with `trigger_source = 'legacy_ui'`
- Add `ExecutionTriggerSource` type and wire `trigger_source` through
provider so `EXECUTION_START` matches the most recent click intent

### Telemetry behavior after this change
- `RUN_BUTTON_CLICKED` (click analytics)
  - Emitted when a run is initiated via:
    - Button: `trigger_source = 'button'`
    - Keybinding: `trigger_source = 'keybinding'`
    - Legacy UI: `trigger_source = 'legacy_ui'`
- `EXECUTION_START` (execution lifecycle)
- Emitted once per run at start; includes `trigger_source` matched to
the click intent above
- Paired with `EXECUTION_SUCCESS` / `EXECUTION_ERROR` from execution
handlers

## Benefits
- Accurate counts by removing duplicated run events
- Clear initiator attribution (button vs keybinding vs legacy UI)
- Separation of “intent” (click) vs. “lifecycle” (execution)
- Simpler implementation and maintenance

## Files Changed (high level)
- `src/services/keybindingService.ts`: Route run commands with
`trigger_source = 'keybinding'`
- `src/components/actionbar/ComfyRunButton/ComfyQueueButton.vue`: Send
`trigger_source = 'button'` to commands
- `src/scripts/ui.ts`: Legacy queue buttons emit `trackRunButton({
trigger_source: 'legacy_ui' })` and `trackWorkflowExecution()`
- `src/composables/useCoreCommands.ts`: Commands emit
`trackRunButton(...)` + `trackWorkflowExecution()`; accept telemetry
metadata
- `src/platform/telemetry/types.ts`: Add `ExecutionTriggerSource` and
optional `trigger_source` in click + execution payloads
- `src/platform/telemetry/providers/cloud/MixpanelTelemetryProvider.ts`:
Carry `trigger_source` from click → execution and reset after use
- `src/stores/commandStore.ts`: Allow commands to receive args (for
telemetry metadata)
- `src/extensions/core/groupNode.ts`: Adjust command function signatures
to new execute signature

## Related
- Reverts the multi‑event approach from #6499
- Keeps `trackWorkflowExecution()` as the canonical execution event
while preserving click analytics and initiator attribution with
`trackRunButton(...)`

b3da6cf1b4 Contextmenu extension migration (#5993)
This pull request refactors how context menu items are contributed by
extensions in the LiteGraph-based canvas. The legacy monkey-patching
approach for adding context menu options is replaced by a new, explicit
API (`getCanvasMenuItems` and `getNodeMenuItems`) for extensions. A
compatibility layer is added to support legacy extensions and warn
developers about deprecated usage. The changes improve maintainability,
extension interoperability, and migration to the new context menu
system.

### Context Menu System Refactor

* Introduced a new API for extensions to contribute context menu items
via `getCanvasMenuItems` and `getNodeMenuItems` methods, replacing
legacy monkey-patching of `LGraphCanvas.prototype.getCanvasMenuOptions`.
Major extension files (`groupNode.ts`, `groupOptions.ts`,
`nodeTemplates.ts`) now use this new API.

* Added a compatibility layer (`legacyMenuCompat` in
`contextMenuCompat.ts`) to detect and warn when legacy monkey-patching
is used, and to extract legacy-added menu items for backward
compatibility.

### Extension Migration

* Refactored core extensions (`groupNode`, `groupOptions`, and
`nodeTemplates`) to implement the new context menu API, moving menu item
logic out of monkey-patched methods and into explicit extension methods.

### Type and Import Cleanup

* Updated imports for context menu types (`IContextMenuValue`) across
affected files for consistency with the new API.

### Backward Compatibility and Migration Guidance

* The compatibility layer logs a deprecation warning to the console when
legacy monkey-patching is detected, helping developers migrate to the
new API.

---

These changes collectively modernize the context menu extension
mechanism, improve code clarity, and provide a migration path for legacy
extensions.

cbb0f765b8 feat: enable verbatimModuleSyntax in TypeScript config (#5533)
## Summary
- Enable `verbatimModuleSyntax` compiler option in TypeScript
configuration
- Update all type imports to use explicit `import type` syntax
- This change will Improve tree-shaking and bundler compatibility

## Motivation
The `verbatimModuleSyntax` option ensures that type-only imports are
explicitly marked with the `type` keyword. This:
- Makes import/export intentions clearer
- Improves tree-shaking by helping bundlers identify what can be safely
removed
- Ensures better compatibility with modern bundlers
- Follows TypeScript best practices for module syntax

## Changes
- Added `"verbatimModuleSyntax": true` to `tsconfig.json`
- Updated another 48+ files to use explicit `import type` syntax for
type-only imports
- No functional changes, only import/export syntax improvements

## Test Plan
- [x] TypeScript compilation passes
- [x] Build completes successfully
- [x] Tests pass
- [ ] No runtime behavior changes
