b4ae6344d7 Brand local node IDs (#13085)
## Summary

Adds a branded local `NodeId` helper and starts separating local node
identity from serialized workflow IDs.

## Changes

- **What**: Adds central `NodeId` parsing/branding helpers, migrates
nearby widget identity types, keeps queue results at the serialized
boundary, and removes misleading workflow `NodeId` usage from execution
error maps.

## Review Focus

Check that the first migration slice keeps serialized/API IDs as raw
`number | string` while local UI/store IDs use the branded string type.

## Caveat

`SUBGRAPH_INPUT_ID` and `SUBGRAPH_OUTPUT_ID` are now branded local
`NodeId` string values internally instead of numeric sentinels.
Reviewers should double-check extension compatibility for callers that
import `Constants` and compare those values numerically.

caabebe145 Redesign missing model detection contract for promoted subgraph widgets (#13059)
## Summary

Redesign missing-model detection for ADR 0009 promoted subgraph widgets
so candidates are created from the widget value the user can actually
edit, while still using the concrete interior widget as the
schema/options source.

## Why This PR Exists

This PR comes from the follow-up missing-model detection work for the
ADR 0009 / 1.46 subgraph widget changes introduced by
[#12197](https://github.com/Comfy-Org/ComfyUI_frontend/pull/12197).

[#12197](https://github.com/Comfy-Org/ComfyUI_frontend/pull/12197)
intentionally changed promoted subgraph widgets to be represented
through subgraph input links. After that change, the promoted widget on
the host `SubgraphNode` is the editable value owner, and linked interior
widgets are no longer guaranteed to mirror that value.

The old missing-model contract still treated the concrete interior node
widget as the effective source of truth in subgraph cases:

- recursive scans entered the subgraph and scanned the interior widget
value;
- candidates were keyed by the interior node/widget identity;
- the parent subgraph host mostly received propagated
highlight/navigation behavior;
- subgraph container widgets were not treated as first-class candidate
sources.

That contract breaks after ADR 0009. A user can resolve a missing model
by changing the promoted host widget to an installed model, while the
linked interior widget can still hold the old stale value. If detection
keeps scanning the linked interior value, entering the subgraph or
reloading the workflow can re-create a false missing-model error that no
longer corresponds to the value the user can edit.

ADR 0009 also means the same subgraph definition can be reused by
multiple `SubgraphNode` hosts. Once missing-model detection moves from
the interior definition widget to the promoted host widget, the selected
value is no longer a property of the shared definition alone. It is a
property of a specific host instance. That makes the old interior-node
identity insufficient for mode changes, removal handling, and re-scan
behavior: a single interior leaf definition can be reachable through
multiple host execution paths, and only the affected host path should
add, remove, or restore a candidate.

This PR also builds on
[#12990](https://github.com/Comfy-Org/ComfyUI_frontend/pull/12990),
which narrowed workflow-level `models[]` and embedded model data to
metadata enrichment only. Together, the intended boundary is:

- live widgets create missing-model candidates;
- workflow/root-level `models[]` and node metadata only enrich
candidates that already came from a live widget;
- promoted widget values are read from the editable host widget, not
inferred from stale interior `widgets_values`.

## Changes

- **What**:
  - Introduces promoted-widget scan targets that split:
    - host promoted widget value and candidate identity;
    - concrete leaf widget/node definition data.
- Scans the outermost unlinked promoted widget on a `SubgraphNode` host
as the selected value owner.
- Skips linked interior widgets as candidate sources, preventing stale
linked widget values from producing duplicate or false missing-model
candidates.
- Resolves the concrete leaf widget for combo options, asset-widget
support, node type, directory lookup, and embedded metadata enrichment.
- Keys promoted missing-model candidates by the host execution id and
host promoted widget name.
- Adds `sourceExecutionId` to promoted candidates so liveness still
follows the concrete source execution path, including nested inactive
subgraph containers.
- Uses source-scope activity for pipeline filtering and async
verification, while keeping highlight/store/clearing identity
host-keyed.
- Removes host-keyed promoted candidates when their source execution
scope is removed or bypassed.
- Re-scans ancestor subgraph hosts when an interior source path is
un-bypassed, so host-keyed promoted errors can reappear correctly.
- Handles shared subgraph definitions by deriving promoted source paths
from the concrete host instance path, rather than treating the shared
definition node id as globally unique.
- Shares promoted source resolution between Vue node processing and the
right-side panel to avoid drift.
- Aligns missing-model clearing across Vue node widgets, legacy canvas
widgets, and right-side panel Parameters/Nodes section widgets.
- Adds unit coverage for scan identity, source-scope liveness, dynamic
mode changes, source-scope removal, shared-definition host isolation,
and right-side panel clearing.
- Adds nested promoted-widget E2E coverage for OSS and Cloud flows
across Vue, Parameters tab, and legacy widget surfaces.
- **Breaking**: None expected.
- **Dependencies**: None.

## New Detection Contract

A missing-model candidate is created from an unlinked final editable
value owner.

That value owner can be:

- a normal node model widget; or
- the outermost promoted model widget displayed on a `SubgraphNode`
host.

For promoted widgets:

- the host promoted widget supplies the selected value;
- the host execution id and host widget name are the candidate identity;
- the concrete leaf widget supplies definition data such as combo
options and asset-browser support;
- the concrete source execution path is retained as `sourceExecutionId`
for liveness only;
- linked interior widgets are skipped as candidate sources because their
values are not authoritative when driven by a promoted input.

For a nested chain:

`Outer promoted widget A -> inner promoted widget B -> concrete widget
C`

only `A` creates the candidate. `B` and `C` are linked along the
promoted-input path and are skipped as selected-value sources, while `C`
still provides the concrete widget definition used to evaluate `A`.

## Shared Definition And Source-Scope Liveness

ADR 0009 promoted widgets make subgraphs behave more like reusable
definitions with host-owned inputs. Two host `SubgraphNode`s can point
at the same interior subgraph definition while carrying different
promoted widget values. In that shape, the missing-model candidate must
be keyed to the editable host surface, but the activity check cannot use
the host id alone.

For example, if two outer hosts share the same nested subgraph
definition, one host can select a valid model while the other still
selects a missing model. The result should be one missing-model
reference, not a single definition-level error and not two errors after
one host is fixed. Likewise, bypassing or un-bypassing an interior
nested container should affect only the host execution paths that
actually pass through that container.

This PR therefore separates two concepts:

- **candidate identity**: host execution id + host promoted widget name,
used for storage, highlight, navigation, and clearing;
- **candidate liveness**: concrete source execution path, used for
scan-time activity checks, pipeline filtering, async verification,
source-scope removal, and re-exposure after mode changes.

That separation is the reason this PR updates more than the scan itself.
Moving the detection target to the subgraph host also requires the
mode-change and removal paths to understand that a host-keyed candidate
can be invalidated by a descendant source path, and can need to be
restored by re-scanning an ancestor host when an interior source path
becomes active again.

## Review Focus

Please review the identity split carefully:

- candidate/store/highlight/clearing identity should remain host-keyed
for promoted widgets;
- liveness should use `sourceExecutionId` when present, falling back to
`nodeId` for normal candidates;
- scan-time activity checks should account for the source node itself
and all ancestor subgraph containers;
- source-scope removal should remove host-keyed candidates whose
concrete source path was removed or bypassed;
- un-bypassing an interior source path should re-scan affected ancestor
subgraph hosts so host-keyed candidates can reappear;
- shared subgraph definitions should not merge errors across different
host instances;
- linked interior widgets should not produce their own missing-model
candidates;
- asset-browser eligibility should be resolved from the concrete leaf
node type and widget name, not the synthetic subgraph host type;
- right-side panel edits should clear host missing-model errors and
source validation errors consistently.

The E2E matrix intentionally keeps nested promoted workflows only.
Nested promoted widgets cover the same editable host path as single
promoted widgets while also exercising the `A -> B -> C` chain that can
break source-scope liveness and re-scan behavior. The nested fixture
also includes multiple host instances that share the same subgraph
definition, so it verifies that fixing one host does not accidentally
clear or suppress another host's missing-model candidate. Direct/single
promoted behavior is still covered at the unit level.

## Non-Goals

- This PR does not reintroduce workflow-level `models[]` candidate
creation.
- This PR does not infer selected model values from `widgets_values`.
- This PR does not synchronize linked interior widget values back from
promoted host widgets.
- This PR does not redesign missing-media scanning; missing media still
skips subgraph containers and remains keyed by concrete interior paths.
The shared async post-verification active-scope filter is intentionally
stricter, so a pending missing-media candidate is no longer surfaced if
its own node is bypassed or removed while verification is in flight.

- Should root-level node IDs like `1` be considered valid
`NodeExecutionId` values, or should `isNodeExecutionId()` require a
colon and callers use a separate type/helper for root execution IDs?

8d82944441 fix: limit workflow models to metadata enrichment (#12990)
## Summary

This PR intentionally narrows workflow-embedded model metadata handling
so root-level `models[]` and node-level embedded model metadata can
enrich existing missing-model candidates, but can no longer create new
candidates by themselves.

## Why this PR exists

ADR 0009, **Subgraph promoted widgets use linked inputs**, changes
promoted value ownership for subgraphs. That design was implemented by
[#12197](https://github.com/Comfy-Org/ComfyUI_frontend/pull/12197),
**Subgraph Link Only Promotion (ADR 0009)**.

Under ADR 0009, a promoted widget is represented as a standard linked
`SubgraphInput` on the host `SubgraphNode`. The host boundary owns the
promoted value identity through the host node locator plus
`SubgraphInput.name`. The interior source widget remains the provider of
schema, type, options, tooltip, defaults, diagnostics, and migration
metadata, but it is not the persistence owner of the promoted value.

This PR is a preparatory cleanup discovered while working on the missing
model detection follow-up required by that ADR 0009 /
[#12197](https://github.com/Comfy-Org/ComfyUI_frontend/pull/12197)
behavior. The follow-up needs missing model detection to respect the new
subgraph promoted-widget ownership model. While reviewing that path, we
found that the existing embedded model metadata fallback in
`enrichWithEmbeddedMetadata` was doing more than metadata enrichment.

The important finding was that this fallback was not just attaching
metadata to candidates that had already been detected from live node
widgets. It could also synthesize brand-new `MissingModelCandidate`
entries from workflow JSON metadata, including root-level `models[]`
entries, when no live candidate existed.

That behavior is inaccurate for the missing model system for two
reasons.

First, the normal missing model lifecycle is anchored to a real
node/widget binding. A candidate found from a COMBO or asset widget has
a concrete `nodeId + widgetName` reference. That reference is what lets
the UI surface the error, cache it as a pending warning, and later clear
or resolve it when the underlying node/widget value is fixed. A
root-level `models[]` entry does not reliably provide that anchor. If
metadata-only fallback creates a candidate without a real live widget
reference, the resulting error can be detected but cannot reliably
travel through the existing clearing path. In practice, that can become
an effectively unremovable missing model warning unless the user
downloads exactly the same model referenced by the stale metadata.

Second, a missing model error is meant to mean that a model-selecting
widget on an active node references a value that is not available.
Workflow JSON metadata by itself is not the same source of truth. If a
model only appears in root workflow metadata, or appears in node
metadata that is not represented by an active COMBO or asset widget
candidate, that is a different kind of state from the existing missing
model error model. Treating that metadata as a candidate creates a
second, less reliable detector that is not aligned with the scan/clear
lifecycle.

This is especially important before the ADR 0009 missing-model
follow-up. With linked-input promoted widgets, the host promoted value
is the value that matters. The interior source widget may still carry
stale or default metadata, and it must not become a second source of
truth for missing model errors. A detection path that can create
candidates directly from workflow metadata would make it harder to
reason about which value actually produced the warning.

For those reasons, this PR removes metadata-only candidate synthesis and
keeps embedded metadata in the role it can perform safely: metadata
enrichment. If the live widget/asset scan produces a candidate, embedded
metadata may fill in `directory`, `url`, `hash`, and `hashType`. If no
live candidate exists, the metadata is not enough to create a missing
model warning.

This PR is intended to land before the child PR that updates runtime
missing model detection for ADR 0009 linked-input promoted widgets.

## Changes

- **What**: Restrict `enrichWithEmbeddedMetadata` to enriching existing
candidates instead of creating fallback candidates from unmatched root
`models[]` or embedded model metadata.
- **What**: Remove the now-unused installed-model check callback and
asset-support callback from `enrichWithEmbeddedMetadata`.
- **What**: Remove the now-unnecessary `modelStore.loadModelFolders()`
path from the missing model pipeline, since embedded metadata no longer
performs installed-model fallback detection.
- **What**: Remove dead source-tracking metadata
(`EmbeddedModelWithSource`, source node/widget fields, and widget-name
lookup) that only existed to support metadata-only synthesis.
- **What**: Update missing model tests so they assert the new contract:
metadata enriches live candidates, but does not create candidates
without a live scan result.
- **What**: Delete obsolete fixtures that only covered the removed
metadata-only synthesis path.
- **Breaking**: None expected. This is an intentional narrowing of an
inaccurate fallback detector, not a public API change.
- **Dependencies**: None.

## Review Focus

Please focus on whether the candidate lifecycle now has a single source
of truth: live COMBO/asset widget scanning creates candidates, while
workflow metadata only enriches those candidates.

The intended behavioral change is that a model present only in
workflow-level metadata, with no active node widget candidate
referencing it, no longer appears as a missing model. This avoids
surfacing warnings that cannot be cleared through the normal `nodeId +
widgetName` path.

The expected retained behavior is that active widget-referenced missing
models are still detected by `scanAllModelCandidates`, and metadata from
root `models[]` or node `properties.models` still supplies
download-related fields for those live candidates.

05efee07ce Move Comfy Desktop bridge types into frontend (#12857)
## Summary

Adds `@comfyorg/comfyui-desktop-bridge-types` as a workspace package in
the frontend monorepo and changes the frontend app dependency to
`workspace:*`.

Adds a dedicated `Publish Desktop Bridge Types` workflow for publishing
`packages/comfyui-desktop-bridge-types` by its own package version,
without coupling it to the generated `@comfyorg/comfyui-frontend-types`
release. The generated frontend types package still emits a concrete
`@comfyorg/comfyui-desktop-bridge-types@0.1.2` dependency instead of
leaking workspace/catalog protocol references.

The Desktop2 missing-model path uses `window.__comfyDesktop2.isRemote()`
when available, but falls back to the legacy
`window.__comfyDesktop2Remote` marker so frontend rollout stays
compatible with older Desktop builds.

6850d22d99 Redesign error overlay count and toast behavior (#12871)
## Summary

Redesign the run error overlay so its count and copy use the same
grouped error semantics as the redesigned Error tab, while keeping
single-error toast copy precise.

This is a stacked follow-up to #12828. The parent PR redesigns the Error
tab cards and centralizes their grouped/row-based presentation. This PR
applies the same mental model to the compact overlay shown from the Run
button path, so users no longer see one count in the Error tab and a
different count in the overlay.

## Changes

- **What**: Align the error overlay count with the Error tab's grouped
error count.
- The overlay now reads the same grouped error surface that powers the
Error tab hero instead of independently summing raw store error counts.
- Validation/runtime/prompt execution groups use their grouped `count`.
- Missing model/media/node/swap groups keep the row/group count
semantics introduced by the Error tab redesign.
- This avoids cases where the overlay headline says one number while the
panel summarizes another.

- **What**: Preserve the existing single-error toast behavior while
adding explicit multi-row handling.
- A single true leaf still uses the catalog/resolver toast title and
toast message.
- A single grouped execution error with multiple node/input items uses
that group's title/message instead of the generic aggregate copy.
- A single missing model/media group with multiple model/file rows uses
the generic aggregate copy because it represents multiple actionable
rows.
- A single missing model/media row referenced by multiple nodes uses the
group title/message, since there is still only one model/file to
resolve.
- Multiple top-level groups continue to use the aggregate "N errors
found" style copy.

- **What**: Restyle the overlay toast to match the new error-surface
direction.
- Adds a compact dark card with a destructive left accent and a visible
outline for better contrast against the workspace.
  - Keeps the close button in the card header area.
- Keeps the primary "View details" action, but adjusts spacing, size,
and typography to better match the Figma direction.
- Removes the older footer-style dismiss action so the overlay behaves
like a focused status toast rather than a secondary dialog.

- **What**: Share error grouping/count helpers instead of duplicating
local logic.
- Extracts execution item-list detection for reuse between the Error tab
render path and count logic.
- Extracts missing-model grouping/count helpers so missing-model row
count semantics have one implementation.
- Removes `groupedErrorMessages`, which became unused after the overlay
copy decision moved to grouped error state.

- **Breaking**: None.

- **Dependencies**: None.

## Review Focus

- **Stack boundary**: Please review this against
`jaeone/fe-816-error-card-redesign`, not against `main` directly. The
parent PR is #12828 and contains the Error tab card redesign that this
overlay work builds on.

- **Count semantics**: The visible overlay count intentionally changes
from raw store counts to grouped Error tab counts. This is not just a
refactor; it is the intended product behavior so the compact overlay and
the panel hero agree.

- **Overlay message branches**: The overlay can now choose between three
message modes. The goal is to keep precise single-error copy where it is
useful, but avoid showing one node-specific toast message when the
overlay actually represents multiple actionable rows.

| Branch | When it applies | Overlay title source | Overlay message
source | Example output |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Aggregate summary | More than one top-level error group, or one
missing model/media group with multiple actionable model/file rows. |
Generic aggregate title using grouped count. | Generic aggregate
message. | Title: `2 errors found`<br>Message: `Resolve them before
running the workflow.`<br>Example case: one Missing Models group
containing `first.safetensors` and `second.safetensors`. |
| Group summary | Exactly one error group that is not a true single
leaf, but should still be described by the group. This includes one
execution catalog group with multiple items, or one missing model/media
row referenced by multiple nodes. | The group's `displayTitle`. | The
group's `displayMessage`. | Title: `Missing connection`<br>Message:
`Required input slots have no connection feeding them.`<br>Example case:
one validation group with `KSampler - model` and `KSampler - positive`
rows. |
| Single leaf toast | Exactly one group, one actionable row/card, and at
most one node reference. | Resolver/catalog `toastTitle`. |
Resolver/catalog `toastMessage`. | Title: `Model missing`<br>Message:
`CheckpointLoaderSimple is missing missing.safetensors.`<br>Example
case: one missing model file referenced by one node. |

- **Scope control**: This PR intentionally does not redesign the full
Error Overlay flow beyond the compact toast/card. It also does not
revisit the deeper Error tab card layouts already handled in #12828.

- **Accessibility**: The toast keeps `role="status"` for polite
announcement semantics. The duplicate `aria-live` attribute was removed
during cleanup because `role="status"` already implies polite
live-region behavior.

## Validation

c36da042d0 Redesign error tab cards with summary hero and unified sections (#12828)
## Summary

Redesigns the Errors tab cards to match the new Figma error-panel spec
(file `Czv0JcCfcUiizeEZURevpq`): every error group is now wrapped in a
single bordered card led by an error-count summary hero, with each
category rendered as a collapsible section whose count lives in a
circular badge rather than a parenthetical title suffix.

> Rebased onto `main` after #12793 was merged. This PR now contains only
the error-card redesign slice.

## Changes

- **What**:
- **New `ErrorCardSection.vue`** — the shared section shell used by
every error type. Renders a 32px header (circular count badge + neutral
title + `actions` slot + collapse chevron) and a `TransitionCollapse`
body. Replaces the per-group `PropertiesAccordionItem`, dropping the old
octagon-alert icon + red title + `(n)` suffix and the sticky-header
behavior.
- **`TabErrors.vue`** — wraps all groups in one `rounded-lg` card
bordered with `secondary-background`. Adds a summary **hero** (large
severity-colored total count, vertical divider, "N Errors detected /
Resolve before running the workflow"). Moves the per-group action
buttons (Install All / Replace All / missing-model Refresh) into the
section's `actions` slot. Adds `getGroupCount()` / `totalErrorCount` and
switches content background to `interface-panel-surface`. Most of the
line count here is re-indentation from the template restructure, not
behavior change.
- **`missingErrorResolver.ts`** — drops the `formatCountTitle` helper so
display titles are `"Missing Models"` instead of `"Missing Models (4)"`;
the badge now carries the count. Toast titles/messages are untouched.
- **`ErrorNodeCard.vue`** — restyles the runtime/validation error-log
box to the Figma spec: borderless `base-foreground/5` surface, `ERROR
LOG` header, 12px non-mono body at 50% opacity, inset footer divider
with Get Help / Find on GitHub links.
- **Row components** (`MissingModelRow`, `MissingPackGroupRow`,
`SwapNodeGroupRow`, `MissingMediaCard`, `MissingNodeCard`,
`MissingModelCard`) — align spacing, fonts, badges, and button sizes
with Figma: 12px row labels, `size="sm"` (24px) action buttons, 16px
count badges (`rounded-sm`, `secondary-background-hover`, 9px), 32px
reference-row heights, `px-3` card padding. Model-name wrapping is kept
independent of its count badge and link button so they never reflow into
the metadata sub-label.
- **i18n** — adds `errorsDetected` (pluralized), `resolveBeforeRun`,
`expand`, `collapse` to `en/main.json`.
- **Breaking**: None. No store, composable, action, or data-flow changes
— all handlers and emitted events are preserved. The only user-visible
copy change is the removal of the `(n)` count suffix from section
titles.

## Review Focus

- **Title copy change**: `"Missing Models (4)"` → `"Missing Models"`.
Search-filter matching against the old `(n)` string no longer applies,
but the count is shown by the badge and the hero total.
- **Sticky header removed**: section headers no longer pin to the top on
scroll (intentional per the new design).
- **Collapse click target**: the old single-button header (which nested
action buttons inside a `<button>` — invalid HTML) is split into a
separate title button and chevron button. Behavior is unchanged and
accessibility improves; the empty space beside an action button no
longer toggles collapse.
- All semantic colors map to existing design-system tokens (no `dark:`
variants, no hardcoded hex). Verified the artifact hex values match the
tokens (e.g. `#262729` = `secondary-background`, `#e04e48` =
`destructive-background-hover`, `#171718` = `interface-panel-surface`).

## Follow-up

This PR intentionally keeps the error-count ownership cleanup out of the
current diff so the card redesign remains reviewable. A follow-up PR
will centralize error counting around a single source of truth so the
Errors tab summary hero, section badges, and any overlay surfaces cannot
drift from one another.

That follow-up will also address the current count mismatch in the
ErrorOverlay and continue the ErrorOverlay redesign there, instead of
expanding this PR after review.

6d43320b93 Simplify missing model error presentation (#12793)
## Summary

Simplifies the Missing Models error card as the fifth slice of the
catalog-driven error-tab redesign. This PR is intentionally larger than
the previous slices because Missing Models is the only remaining error
type where the card UI, OSS download flow, Cloud import flow, and shared
model-import dialog all have to move together to preserve the resolution
path.

The high-level goal is to make Missing Models behave like the other
simplified error cards: show the exact missing item, show the affected
nodes, keep locate actions predictable, and only expose actions that can
actually resolve the problem.

This follows the staged error-tab cleanup plan:

1. #12683 refined validation, runtime, and prompt error presentation.
2. #12705 simplified missing media error presentation.
3. #12735 simplified missing node pack error presentation.
4. #12768 simplified swap node error presentation.
5. This PR simplifies missing model presentation and the model-import
handoff.

## Why This PR Is Larger

Missing Models has more resolution paths than the previous error groups:

- OSS can refresh model state, download individual models, and download
all available models.
- Cloud cannot download directly from the panel; it resolves supported
rows through the model import dialog.
- Some Cloud rows cannot be resolved through import at all because the
node/widget cannot consume imported model assets.
- Importing from Cloud needs to know the originating missing-model row
so it can lock the expected model type and apply the imported model back
to the affected widgets.
- Already-imported files can still be unusable if they were imported
under a different model type than the missing node expects.

Because of those constraints, splitting the card layout from the dialog
handoff would leave either a misleading Import button or an import
dialog that does not know what it is resolving. This PR keeps that
behavior in one reviewable unit.

## User-Facing Behavior

### Shared Missing Models Card

- Replaces the older grouped presentation with compact model rows.
- Shows each missing model as the primary row label.
- Shows model metadata as a smaller sublabel instead of using large
section headers.
- Keeps locate-node controls visually consistent with the other
simplified error cards.
- Keeps rows expandable when multiple nodes reference the same missing
model.
- Shows the affected node rows under expanded models.
- Allows single-reference rows to locate the affected node without
rendering an extra duplicate child row.
- Keeps unknown rows visible, including their affected nodes, instead of
silently hiding them.
- Removes the old library-select UI from the Missing Models card.

### OSS Behavior

- Keeps the refresh action available from the Missing Models group
header.
- Keeps individual Download actions for downloadable models.
- Moves file size out of the Download button label and into the row
sublabel.
- Keeps Download all when multiple downloadable models are available.
- Places Download all at the bottom of the card rather than competing
with the group header.
- Leaves rows without a download URL as non-downloadable instead of
rendering a broken action.

### Cloud Behavior

- Shows Import only for missing models that can be resolved by importing
a model asset of the required type.
- Separates models that cannot be resolved through Cloud import into an
Import Not Supported section.
- Gives unsupported rows a direct explanation: nodes referencing those
models do not support imported models, so users need to open the node
and choose a supported built-in model or replace the node with a
supported loader.
- Treats unknown model type/directory as unsupported for Cloud import,
because the import dialog cannot lock a valid model type and the node
cannot safely consume the imported asset.
- Keeps affected nodes visible in the unsupported section so users still
have a path to locate and replace the node manually.

## Cloud Import Dialog Changes

The shared model import dialog now accepts missing-model context when
opened from the Missing Models card.

When that context is present:

- The dialog shows which missing model will be replaced.
- The dialog lists the affected node/widget references that will be
updated.
- The model type selector is locked to the required model
directory/type.
- The Back/import-another path is disabled when it would break the
targeted missing-model flow.
- Import progress can be associated with the originating missing-model
row.
- After import completion, matching missing-model references are applied
automatically where possible.
- If the selected file is already imported under an incompatible model
type, the dialog shows a targeted failure state explaining why this
import cannot resolve the missing model.

This keeps the generic import dialog reusable while adding only the
context-specific behavior needed for Missing Models.

## Implementation Notes

- `MissingModelCard.vue` owns the card-level grouping and OSS/Cloud
section decisions.
- `MissingModelRow.vue` owns per-model row rendering, expansion, locate
actions, import/download actions, and row-level progress states.
- `useMissingModelInteractions.ts` remains the interaction layer for
locating nodes and applying resolved model selections.
- `UploadModelDialog.vue`, `UploadModelConfirmation.vue`,
`UploadModelFooter.vue`, `UploadModelProgress.vue`, and
`useUploadModelWizard.ts` receive the missing-model context needed by
the Cloud import handoff.
- `MissingModelLibrarySelect.vue` is removed because the simplified card
no longer exposes that inline selection path.
- Locale and selector changes are limited to the new simplified
row/section states and removed unused Missing Models strings.

## Tests Added / Updated

- Unit coverage for Missing Models card grouping and row states.
- Unit coverage for importable vs unsupported Cloud rows.
- Unit coverage for model row expansion, locate actions, progress
display, and action availability.
- Unit coverage for upload confirmation/footer/progress behavior when a
missing-model context is present.
- Unit coverage for incompatible already-imported model handling.
- E2E coverage for OSS Missing Models presentation.
- E2E coverage for mode-aware Missing Models interactions.
- Cloud E2E coverage for importable rows vs Import Not Supported rows.
- Cloud E2E coverage for opening the import dialog with missing-model
replacement context.

## Review Focus

- Cloud import eligibility: unsupported or unknown model rows should not
expose Import as if the row can be resolved automatically.
- Missing-model context in the import dialog: the required model type
should be locked, and the affected node/widget references should be
clear.
- OSS parity: OSS should keep refresh, individual Download, and Download
all while visually matching the simplified Cloud card where possible.
- Narrow side panel behavior: row labels may wrap, but link, primary
action, and locate controls should not overlap.
- Scope boundaries: this PR intentionally does not redesign Missing Node
Pack / Swap Node / Missing Media again; visual parity issues shared
across those cards can be handled in a follow-up unification pass if
needed.

## Validation

- `pnpm format`
- `pnpm lint`
- `pnpm typecheck`
- Related unit tests: 8 files / 84 tests passed
- `pnpm build`
- OSS Missing Models E2E: `errorsTabMissingModels.spec.ts` passed, 8/8

72d1261983 [bugfix] Use Desktop2 bridge for missing model downloads (#12710)
## Summary

Fixes the Desktop2 missing-model download path so the frontend calls the
Desktop2 download bridge directly when it is available, instead of
relying on the browser `<a download>` fallback that Desktop2 currently
has to intercept indirectly.

This addresses Linear FE-956, where missing-model downloads on Windows
could open the OS Save As dialog. The issue was reproducible when the
frontend language was not English: switching the UI language back to
English made the download succeed again.

## Root Cause

Desktop2 currently has compatibility logic that watches/intercepts the
frontend missing-model download flow from outside the FE code. That
interception depends on FE-rendered DOM details, including localized
accessible labels such as the missing-model download button
`aria-label`.

In English, Desktop2 could find the expected download controls and cache
the missing-model metadata before the FE-created `<a>` download was
clicked. In non-English locales, the localized label no longer matched
Desktop2's selector, so the Desktop2 interception path missed the
download. The FE then continued down the browser download path, which
Electron surfaced as a native Save As dialog on Windows.

## Changes

- Adds a narrow Desktop2 runtime bridge check in
`missingModelDownload.ts`:
  - if `window.__comfyDesktop2.downloadModel` exists
  - and `window.__comfyDesktop2Remote` is not set
- then FE calls `window.__comfyDesktop2.downloadModel(model.url,
model.name, model.directory)` directly and returns early.
- Keeps remote Desktop2 sessions on the existing browser fallback path
by preserving the `__comfyDesktop2Remote` guard.
- Leaves the existing OSS browser fallback and legacy desktop
`isDesktop` download-store path intact.
- Logs Desktop2 bridge failures so rejected promises or synchronous
bridge throws do not become unhandled errors.
- Adds regression coverage for:
- Desktop2 bridge path taking priority over browser and legacy desktop
fallbacks.
- rejected Desktop2 bridge calls being logged without falling back to
browser download.
- synchronously thrown Desktop2 bridge failures being logged without
crashing or falling back to browser download.
  - remote Desktop2 sessions continuing to use browser fallback.

## User Impact

Desktop2 users should no longer depend on localized FE DOM text for
missing-model downloads. In particular, non-English UI locales should
route missing-model downloads through Desktop2's managed downloader
instead of opening the OS Save As dialog.

## Validation

- Manually verified the issue is fixed in Desktop2 using a locally built
FE dist served through ComfyUI with `--front-end-root`.
- Verified Korean locale no longer triggers the Save As dialog and the
missing-model download succeeds through Desktop2.
- Verified the new regression test fails when the production bridge fix
is reverted.
- Covered the FE-side contract with unit tests because a true end-to-end
assertion of the Windows native Save As dialog is not currently
practical in the FE browser-test infrastructure. The FE tests can verify
that clicking missing-model download routes into
`window.__comfyDesktop2.downloadModel`; they cannot directly prove
Electron/Windows native dialog behavior. That full native-dialog
regression belongs in Desktop2/Electron integration coverage.
- Ran:
- `pnpm exec oxfmt --check
src/platform/missingModel/missingModelDownload.ts
src/platform/missingModel/missingModelDownload.test.ts`
  - `pnpm lint:unstaged`
- `pnpm exec vitest run
src/platform/missingModel/missingModelDownload.test.ts`
  - `pnpm typecheck`
  - `pnpm build`
- Pre-commit hook passed: `oxfmt`, `oxlint`, `eslint`, `typecheck`.
- Pre-push hook passed: `knip --cache` completed with existing tag hints
only.
- Ran a 3-round local Claude review loop; final verdict was approve with
no Blocker/Major findings.

## Follow-up Work

- Define and document the FE/Desktop2 bridge contract explicitly,
including the expected semantics of `downloadModel` resolving `false`
versus rejecting.
- Add a shared or canonical TypeScript declaration for
`window.__comfyDesktop2` and `window.__comfyDesktop2Remote` if more FE
code starts depending on these globals.
- Remove Desktop2's DOM/aria/class-based missing-model download
interception after a sufficient FE compatibility window, so Desktop2 no
longer depends on FE DOM structure or localized labels.
- Add Desktop2 integration/e2e coverage for missing-model downloads in
non-English locales, ideally including Windows where the Save As dialog
was observed. This is the right layer for a true native Save As
regression test.
- Optionally add a lighter FE browser E2E that injects a fake
`window.__comfyDesktop2.downloadModel` and verifies the missing-model UI
calls that bridge. This would validate the FE contract, but it would
still not replace Desktop2/Electron coverage for native dialog behavior.
- Decide on user-facing failure UX for Desktop2 bridge download failures
once Desktop2 defines whether failures, cancellations, and
already-queued downloads are represented by rejection or by `false`.

## Notes

This intentionally does not fall back to browser download when the
Desktop2 bridge resolves `false`. Falling back there could reintroduce
the exact Save As dialog behavior this PR fixes, and the meaning of
`false` should be clarified in the Desktop2 bridge contract before FE
invents user-facing behavior for it.

A true E2E test for this bug would need to exercise Desktop2/Electron on
Windows and assert that the native Save As dialog is not opened. The
current FE browser-test infrastructure cannot observe that native
Desktop2 behavior directly, so this PR uses focused unit regression
coverage for the FE routing contract plus manual Desktop2 verification.

8a819fa2be refactor(assets): read content hash from the canonical hash field (#12638)
## Summary
The assets API exposes an asset's content hash as `hash`. An older
`asset_hash` field was a deprecated alias carrying the same value. This
PR moves the frontend fully onto `hash` and removes `asset_hash` from
the frontend entirely.

## Changes
- Read `asset.hash` (no `?? asset_hash` fallback) across the asset
consumers:
- `useMediaAssetActions` — widget-value variants + cloud-mode
stored-filename resolution
  - `assetsStore` — input-asset-by-filename map
  - `assetMetadataUtils.getAssetUrlFilename`
  - `missingMedia` resolver/scan and `missingModel` scan hash matching
  - `useComboWidget` / `useWidgetSelectItems`
- `assetPreviewUtil.findOutputAsset` now queries `/assets?hash=` instead
of the deprecated `?asset_hash=` param and matches on `a.hash`.
- Removed `asset_hash` from the zod asset schema and the local
`AssetRecord` type. Responses that still include the alias parse cleanly
— zod strips unknown keys — so the declared field protected nothing once
the reads were gone.
- Purged `asset_hash` from all test fixtures/mocks; tests key on the
canonical `hash`.

## Safety / rollout
The API currently emits **both** `hash` and `asset_hash` with identical
values, so reading `hash` is safe today. This is the frontend half of
retiring the alias; the backend stops emitting `asset_hash` only after
this ships and old bundles age out, so there is no window where the
field the UI reads is absent.

## Verification
- `pnpm typecheck`: clean.
- Affected unit tests pass (asset utils, store, media/model scans,
widget composables).
- `grep -rn asset_hash src/`: zero matches.

8657bff7d9 refactor(assets): read content hash via hash field, fall back to asset_hash (#12609)
## Summary

Reads the asset content hash from a new `hash` field, preferring it and
falling back to the existing `asset_hash` alias everywhere asset hashes
are consumed. This is the frontend half of converging the asset
content-hash field name onto `hash` (which the asset content-addressing
endpoints — `from-hash`, `hash/{hash}` — already use).

## Why this is safe to land now (order-independent)

- Against the current backend (emits only `asset_hash`), `hash` is
absent, so every read falls back to `asset_hash` → **byte-identical
behavior**.
- Once the backend emits `hash`, the FE uses it — which then lets the
backend drop `asset_hash` without breaking any read.

So this can merge independently of the backend; nothing is gated on it.

## What changed

- Add `hash` to the asset zod schema (`AssetItem`) and the local
`AssetRecord` type.
- Migrate all response reads of `asset_hash` → `hash ?? asset_hash`
(combo widget, widget select items, missing-media/missing-model scans,
media asset actions, preview util, metadata util, assets store).
- The `isCloud` storage-model branches (cloud = hash-as-filename, local
= name) keep their gate — only the field source changes. Removing those
conditionals is a separate behavioral change, not part of this rename.
- The `fetchAssets({ asset_hash })` request param is intentionally left
as-is; it flips to `hash` only after the backend accepts the new param
name.

## Test plan

- `vue-tsc --noEmit` — 0 errors
- `eslint` — clean
- `vitest run` on assets / missingMedia / missingModel — 775 tests pass

7caba4408d fix: open model library for desktop model downloads (#12478)
## Summary

Open the Model Library sidebar when a missing-model download starts on
desktop so users can immediately see Electron download progress. This is
a temporary UX patch until the dedicated desktop missing-model download
progress bar lands.

## Changes

- **What**: Activates the `model-library` sidebar tab before starting
desktop missing-model downloads.
- **Dependencies**: None.

## Review Focus

Confirm the minimal behavior is scoped to the desktop download path and
covers both individual downloads and Download all through the shared
`downloadModel()` helper. This should remain small and easy to remove
once the progress bar flow is available.

c8c0e53865 fix: remove asset hash verification (#12061)
## Summary

This PR removes the `/api/assets/hash/:hash` verification path from
missing media/model detection.

I decided to remove this path for two reasons:

1. The Cloud runtime implementation and the OpenAPI/generated FE
contract do not agree on the hash format that this endpoint represents.
In current Cloud data, the dominant asset_hash shape is
<64-hex>.<extension> (for example, abc123....png), while the
OpenAPI/generated FE contract expects a blake3:<hash> style value. That
makes this path either dead code that should never be reached, or, when
it is reached, a request that always returns 400 and only adds
unnecessary noise.

2. Even if the format is reconciled, the Cloud implementation is a
global deduplication-oriented lookup, not an access-aware check for
whether the current workflow can use a resource. In theory, it can
return success for another user's personal asset, so it is the wrong
primitive for missing asset detection.

Because of that, this PR makes the existing asset list/store based
checks the primary verification path and removes the hash-specific
helpers, service method, and tests.

## Known follow-ups

These are known issues that are intentionally not solved in this PR:

1. Published assets are not exposed through
`/api/assets?...include_public=true`. This is a backend issue and can
still cause mismatch between missing-asset detection and resources that
preview/run successfully.
2. Shared workflow import has an ordering issue. The API contract issue
is being hotfixed separately under FE-603.
3. Annotated media paths can still be detected incorrectly.

I will prepare follow-up PRs for these, starting with the annotated
media path issue because that is the most critical frontend-side gap.

## Validation

- `pnpm exec vitest run

04918360eb Use hash lookup for missing asset detection (#11873)
## Summary

Use exact BLAKE3 hash lookups first for missing model/media detection,
and add a separate public-inclusive input asset cache so public input
assets are considered missing-detection candidates without changing the
user-only input assets shown in the UI.

## Changes

- **What**:
- Added `assetService.checkAssetHash()` for `HEAD
/api/assets/hash/{hash}` status-only existence checks.
- Added strict BLAKE3 hash helpers so only `blake3:<64 hex>` media
values and raw 64-hex BLAKE3 model metadata are sent to the hash
endpoint.
- Updated missing media detection to group BLAKE3 candidates by hash,
resolve them through the hash endpoint, and fall back to the legacy
asset list path for invalid/unverifiable/non-hash values.
- Updated missing model detection to use hash lookup for BLAKE3-backed
asset-supported candidates before falling back to the existing node-type
asset matching path.
- Added `assetService.getInputAssetsIncludingPublic()` backed by a
dedicated cache that fetches input assets with `include_public=true` for
missing media fallback checks.
- Kept `assetsStore.inputAssets` user-only for widget/UI display, while
invalidating the public-inclusive missing-detection cache when input
assets may change.
- Added abort handling for paginated asset fetches and shared
public-input cache callers so one aborted caller does not cancel the
shared fetch for other callers.
- Added regression coverage for hash lookup, fallback behavior, abort
paths, public input fallback detection, and cache invalidation.
- **Dependencies**: None.
- **Change size**:
  - Production code: 4 files, 400 insertions, 24 deletions, net +376.
  - Test code: 4 files, 806 insertions, 59 deletions, net +747.
  - Total: 8 files, 1206 insertions, 83 deletions, net +1123.

## Review Focus

- The public-inclusive input asset cache is intentionally separate from
`assetsStore.inputAssets`. The existing store data is user-only and
drives the asset widgets/sidebar, so using it for missing input
detection misses public assets. Making that store public-inclusive would
change UI data semantics; this PR instead keeps the UI dataset unchanged
and adds a missing-detection-specific cache in `assetService`.
- Hash lookup is only used when the workflow exposes a valid BLAKE3
hash. Filename-like values and invalid hash values still use the legacy
fallback path.
- Missing model detection keeps the existing fallback behavior for
non-hash candidates and for hash checks that are invalid or fail
transiently.
- Async model download cache refresh behavior is left unchanged; this PR
avoids coupling model download completion to input asset cache
invalidation.
- No browser/e2e test was added because this changes the missing asset
detection data path, not UI interaction or rendering. The behavioral
coverage is in unit tests for the asset service and the missing
media/model scanners.

## Follow-up Items

- Fix `assetsStore.updateAssetTags()` partial-failure recovery. If
`removeAssetTags()` succeeds and `addAssetTags()` fails, the local model
asset cache can roll back to tags that the backend has already removed;
this should be handled in a focused model asset cache PR.
- Consider extracting shared hash-verification flow used by missing
media and missing model scans after this behavior stabilizes.
- Consider adding a concurrency cap or short-lived request cache for
large workflows with many unique hash lookups.
- Consider splitting `assetService.ts` further, e.g. hash helpers, abort
utilities, and the public-inclusive input asset cache.
- Consider tightening the asset hash service API shape so callers do not
directly depend on HTTP-oriented statuses such as `invalid`.
- Consider adding broader mutation-path coverage for public-inclusive
input cache invalidation once the cache has more consumers.

11432f7d0e refactor: extract missing model refresh pipeline (#11751)
## Summary

Extracts the missing-model pipeline orchestration out of `ComfyApp` and
into an app-independent platform module, while tightening the
workflow-flattening type boundary that refresh needs when rescanning the
live LiteGraph graph.

This PR is intentionally refactor-heavy. It is the follow-up to the
earlier missing-model refresh work: instead of keeping refresh-specific
candidate recheck logic beside the UI, this change makes the refresh
path reuse the existing missing-model pipeline and removes the direct
dependency on private `ComfyApp` pipeline methods.

Linear: FE-499

Issues covered by this PR:

- Fixes #11678
- Fixes #11680
- Partially addresses #11679 by removing the missing-model refresh
path's unsafe `graph.serialize() as unknown as ComfyWorkflowJSON` cast
and replacing it with the narrower flattenable workflow contract.
Broader workflow serialization/type-boundary cleanup outside this
missing-model refresh path remains deferred.

## Changes

- **What**:
- Added `src/platform/missingModel/missingModelPipeline.ts` as the
orchestration module for missing-model detection/verification.
- `runMissingModelPipeline(...)` now owns the pipeline previously
embedded in `ComfyApp`:
      - candidate scan and enrichment
      - active ancestor filtering for muted/bypassed subgraph containers
      - pending warning cache updates
      - OSS folder path and file-size follow-up work
      - cloud asset verification follow-up work
- surfaced missing-model errors via the existing execution error store
- `refreshMissingModelPipeline(...)` handles the refresh-specific flow:
      - calls the injected `reloadNodeDefs()` first
      - serializes the current live graph
- preserves model metadata by preferring active workflow `models`, then
falling back to current missing-model candidate metadata
      - delegates back into the same pipeline used during workflow load
- Kept `ComfyApp` as the compatibility caller instead of the owner of
the pipeline.
- `loadGraphData(...)` now calls `runMissingModelPipeline(...)` with
`graph`, `graphData`, `missingNodeTypes`, and `silent` options.
- `refreshMissingModels(...)` is now a thin wrapper around
`refreshMissingModelPipeline(...)` and keeps the existing default
`silent: true` refresh behavior.
- The new pipeline module does not import `@/scripts/app`; app-owned
data/actions are passed in as inputs.
- Moved the workflow node-flattening helpers out of `workflowSchema.ts`
and into `src/platform/workflow/core/utils/workflowFlattening.ts`.
- This includes `flattenWorkflowNodes`, `buildSubgraphExecutionPaths`,
and `isSubgraphDefinition`.
- The move is intentional: these helpers are not zod schema definitions
or workflow validation logic. They are core workflow traversal utilities
used to flatten root workflow nodes plus nested subgraph definition
nodes into the execution-shaped node list needed by missing-model
scanning.
- The refresh path receives data from `LGraph.serialize()`, whose return
type is serialized LiteGraph data rather than validated
`ComfyWorkflowJSON`. Previously this forced unsafe typing like
`graph.serialize() as unknown as ComfyWorkflowJSON`.
- The new `FlattenableWorkflowGraph` / `FlattenableWorkflowNode`
structural contract describes only what flattening actually needs:
`nodes`, `definitions.subgraphs`, node `id`, `type`, `mode`,
`widgets_values`, and `properties`.
- This lets both normal workflow-load data (`ComfyWorkflowJSON`) and
refresh-time live graph serialization (`LGraph.serialize()`) flow into
the same scan/enrichment path without pretending serialized LiteGraph
output is a fully validated workflow schema document.
- Updated `missingModelScan.ts` to consume that minimal flattenable
workflow shape via `MissingModelWorkflowData`.
- `MissingModelWorkflowData` extends the flattenable workflow contract
with optional workflow-level `models` metadata.
- Removed now-unnecessary casts around execution IDs, flattened nodes,
and `widgets_values` object access.
- Updated `getSelectedModelsMetadata(...)` to accept readonly widget
value arrays so flattened workflow data can stay read-only.
- Reduced the exported surface of the new pipeline module after `knip`
flagged unused exported internal option/store interfaces.
- Kept `workflowSchema.ts` focused on validation schemas. The flattening
helpers are not re-exported from the schema module because they are
internal workflow core utilities, not public schema API.

- **Breaking**: None intended.
  - Internal imports were updated to the new core utility path.
- This repo is not exposing these flattening helpers as a public package
API, so the old schema-local helper location is treated as an internal
implementation detail.

- **Dependencies**: None.

## Review Focus

- **Pipeline extraction / dependency direction**:
- Please verify that `missingModelPipeline.ts` stays independent from
`@/scripts/app`.
- `ComfyApp` should remain the caller/adapter, not the owner of
missing-model pipeline orchestration.

- **Workflow flattening type boundary**:
- The main type-cleanup goal is removing the refresh-time
`graph.serialize() as unknown as ComfyWorkflowJSON` lie.
- `LGraph.serialize()` and validated workflow JSON are not the same
contract. The new flattenable workflow contract is deliberately smaller
and structural because the missing-model enrichment path only needs
enough data to flatten nodes and read embedded model metadata.
- This is why the flattening helpers moved from `workflowSchema.ts` to
`workflow/core/utils`: the logic is reusable workflow traversal, not
validation schema.

- **Behavior preservation**:
- The PR is intended to preserve existing user-facing missing-model
behavior while moving ownership out of `app.ts`.
- Existing async follow-up behavior remains intentionally
fire-and-forget:
- cloud asset verification still surfaces after verification completes
- OSS folder paths still update asynchronously before surfacing
confirmed missing models
    - file-size metadata fetching remains asynchronous
- More invasive behavior changes, such as adding non-cloud post-fetch
`isMissingCandidateActive(...)` re-verification or redesigning the
fire-and-forget result contract, are intentionally left for follow-up
work because they are not pure extraction.

- **Downloadable model metadata**:
- `missingModels` returned for download metadata now requires both `url`
and `directory`.
- Candidates without a directory still remain in `confirmedCandidates`,
but they are not exposed as downloadable model metadata. This keeps the
returned downloadable list aligned with what the download flow can
actually use.

- **Test ownership**:
- Complex missing-model pipeline behavior tests moved out of
`src/scripts/app.test.ts` and into
`src/platform/missingModel/missingModelPipeline.test.ts`.
- `app.test.ts` now only covers thin delegation for
`app.refreshMissingModels(...)`.
- Workflow flattening tests moved with the helper from schema tests into
`src/platform/workflow/core/utils/workflowFlattening.test.ts`.

- **Deferred follow-ups**:
  - Broader function decomposition for cognitive complexity.
- Wider dependency-injection/port cleanup for stores and services beyond
the app boundary.
- Cloud-specific pipeline unit tests, which need a separate `isCloud`
mocking strategy.
- Additional E2E coverage expansion beyond the existing OSS refresh
path.
- More general workflow serialization/type-boundary cleanup outside the
missing-model refresh path.

## Validation

- `pnpm format`
- `pnpm lint`
- Passed. Existing lint output included a pre-existing
`no-misused-spread` warning and icon-name logs, but the command exited
successfully.
- `pnpm typecheck`
- `pnpm test:unit`
  - `714 passed`, `9514 passed | 8 skipped`
- Pre-push `pnpm knip`
- Passed after reducing the exported surface of the new pipeline module.

b4d209b5f6 feat: refresh missing models through pipeline (#11661)
## Summary

Follow-up to the closed earlier attempt in #11646. This PR keeps the
same user-facing goal, but changes the implementation to reuse the
existing missing model pipeline for refresh instead of maintaining a
separate candidate-only recheck path.

Adds a missing model refresh action in the Errors tab by reusing the
existing missing model pipeline, so users can re-check models after
downloading or manually placing files without reloading the workflow.

## Changes

- **What**:
- Adds `app.refreshMissingModels()` as a reusable refresh entry point
for the current root graph.
- Splits node definition reloading into `app.reloadNodeDefs()` so
missing-model refresh can pull fresh `object_info` without showing the
generic combo refresh success flow.
- Reuses the existing missing model pipeline instead of adding a
separate candidate-only checker. The refresh path serializes the current
graph, reuses active workflow model metadata when available, falls back
to current missing-model metadata, and then reruns the same candidate
discovery/enrichment/surfacing flow used during workflow load.
- Adds missing model refresh state and error handling to
`missingModelStore`.
- Adds a Refresh button next to Download all in the missing model card
action bar.
- Moves Download all from the Errors tab header into the missing model
card, so the Download all and Refresh actions render or hide together.
- Changes Download all visibility from “more than one downloadable
model” to “at least one downloadable model.”
- Keeps the action bar hidden when there are no downloadable missing
models; Cloud still does not render this action area.
- Normalizes active workflow `pendingWarnings` updates so resolved
missing model warnings do not get revived by stale empty warning
objects.
- Adds test IDs and coverage for the new action bar, refresh state,
refresh delegation, pending warning sync, and E2E refresh behavior.
- **Breaking**: None.
- **Dependencies**: None.

## Review Focus

The main design choice is intentionally reusing the missing model
pipeline for refresh instead of implementing a smaller candidate-only
recheck.

The earlier candidate-only approach was cheaper, but it created a
separate source of truth for missing-model resolution and made edge
cases harder to reason about. In particular, it could diverge from the
behavior used when a workflow is loaded, and it did not naturally handle
the case where a model becomes missing after the workflow is already
open. This version pays the cost of refreshing node definitions and
rerunning the missing-model scan for the current graph, but keeps the
refresh behavior aligned with workflow load semantics.

Expected behavior by environment:

- OSS browser:
- The action bar appears when at least one missing model has a
downloadable URL and directory.
  - Download all uses the existing browser download path.
- Refresh reloads `object_info`, refreshes node definitions/combo
values, reruns missing-model detection for the current graph, and clears
the error if the selected model is now available.
- OSS desktop:
- The same action bar appears under the same downloadable-model
condition.
  - Download all uses the existing Electron DownloadManager path.
- Refresh uses the same missing-model pipeline as browser, so manually
placed files or desktop-downloaded files can be rechecked without
reloading the workflow.
- Cloud:
- The action bar remains hidden because model download/import is not
supported in this section for Cloud.

A few boundaries are intentional:

- This PR does not add automatic filesystem watching. Browser OSS cannot
reliably observe local model folder changes, so the user-triggered
Refresh button remains the cross-environment mechanism.
- This PR does not redesign the public `refreshComboInNodes` API beyond
extracting `reloadNodeDefs()` for reuse. Further cleanup of toast
behavior or a more explicit object-info reload API can be follow-up
work.
- This PR keeps refresh scoped to missing-model validation; missing
media and missing nodes continue to use their existing flows.

## Validation

- `pnpm format`
- `pnpm lint` (passes; existing unrelated warning remains in
`src/platform/workspace/composables/useWorkspaceBilling.test.ts`)
- `pnpm typecheck`

- Manual desktop verification through `~/Projects/desktop` after copying
the desktop build into `assets/ComfyUI/web_custom_versions/desktop_app`:
  - confirmed the FE bundle is built with `DISTRIBUTION = "desktop"`
- confirmed missing model Download uses the desktop download path
instead of browser download
- confirmed Refresh can clear the missing model error after the model is
available
- Push hook: `pnpm knip --cache`

0ad85087ea test: add unit tests for useMissingModelInteractions (#11675)
## Summary

Extends `useMissingModelInteractions.test.ts` with behavioral coverage
for the previously untested public surface: `getComboOptions` (both
asset-supported and widget-driven branches), `getDownloadStatus`, and
the four `handleImport` outcomes (async-pending, async-completed,
sync-with-mismatch, error).

## Changes

- **What**: Adds 10 Vitest cases across three new `describe` blocks
(`getComboOptions`, `getDownloadStatus`, `handleImport`). Extends the
existing module-level mocks with `mockUploadAssetAsync`,
`mockTrackDownload`, and `mockInvalidateModelsForCategory` so the import
flow can be verified at its boundaries.

## Review Focus

- The `handleImport` block uses a shared `setupImportableState(key)`
helper to seed `urlInputs` + `urlMetadata` and stub `validateSourceUrl`
once per test. Each case then asserts a single boundary effect (taskId
tracked, cache invalidated, mismatch recorded, error stored).
- The `getDownloadStatus` happy path relies on the existing getter-style
`mockDownloadList` so the test's mutation lands in the composable
without re-stubbing the asset download store.
- The `getComboOptions` "asset-supported" test asserts both the call
shape (`mockGetAssets` invoked with the candidate's `nodeType`) and the
output shape, so a future refactor that swaps the lookup key fails
loudly.

## Testing

\`\`\`bash
pnpm exec vitest run
src/platform/missingModel/composables/useMissingModelInteractions.test.ts
pnpm format --
src/platform/missingModel/composables/useMissingModelInteractions.test.ts
pnpm lint
pnpm typecheck
pnpm knip
\`\`\`

44 tests pass (34 prior + 10 new).

4c35add5bc feat: add civitai.red hostname support (#11349)
*PR Created by the Glary-Bot Agent*

---

## Summary

Civitai split its domain — NSFW content moved to `civitai.red` while
`civitai.com` stays SFW. The frontend only recognized `civitai.com`
URLs, causing the import button to silently reject `.red` links. This
was the root cause of 8+ support tickets in 3 days.

Companion to backend PR: https://github.com/Comfy-Org/cloud/pull/3259

## Changes

### Import source recognition
- **`civitaiImportSource.ts`**: Added `'civitai.red'` to `hostnames`
array — this is the primary fix for "button doesn't recognize the links"

### Missing model auto-download
- **`missingModelDownload.ts`**: Added `'https://civitai.red/'` to
`ALLOWED_SOURCES`

### URL detection utilities
- **`formatUtil.ts`**: `isCivitaiModelUrl()` now accepts `civitai.red`
URLs with proper hostname validation
- **`assetMetadataUtils.ts`**: `getSourceName()` returns "Civitai" for
`.red` URLs

### Tests (4 files)
- `useUploadModelWizard.test.ts`: Added civitai.red hostnames and URL
test case
- `missingModelDownload.test.ts`: Added civitai.red cases for
`toBrowsableUrl` and `isModelDownloadable`
- `assetMetadataUtils.test.ts`: Added civitai.red case for
`getSourceName`
- `useMissingModelInteractions.test.ts`: Updated mock hostnames
- `formatUtil.test.ts`: Added civitai.red cases for `isCivitaiModelUrl`

## Not changed (intentionally)
- `getAssetSourceUrl()` ARN fallback (line 88) — ARNs don't carry domain
info, `civitai.com` is correct default
- `fetchCivitaiMetadata()` API URL (line 109) — REST API works on both
domains, keeping `civitai.com`

693b8383d6 fix: missing-asset correctness follow-ups from #10856 (#11233)
Follow-up to #10856. Four correctness issues and their regression tests.

## Bugs fixed

### 1. ErrorOverlay model count reflected node selection

`useErrorGroups` exposed `filteredMissingModelGroups` under the public
name `missingModelGroups`. `ErrorOverlay.vue` read that alias to compute
its model count label, so selecting a node shrank the overlay total. The
overlay must always show the whole workflow's errors.

Exposed both shapes explicitly: `missingModelGroups` /
`missingMediaGroups` (unfiltered totals) and
`filteredMissingModelGroups` / `filteredMissingMediaGroups`
(selection-scoped). `TabErrors.vue` destructures the filtered variant
with an alias.

After

https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/75e67819-c9f2-45ec-9241-74023eca6120

### 2. Bypass → un-bypass dropped url/hash metadata

Realtime `scanNodeModelCandidates` only reads widget values, so
un-bypass produced a fresh candidate without the url that
`enrichWithEmbeddedMetadata` had previously attached from
`graphData.models`. `MissingModelRow`'s download/copy-url buttons
disappeared after a bypass/un-bypass cycle.

Added `enrichCandidateFromNodeProperties` that copies
`url`/`hash`/`directory` from the node's own `properties.models` — which
persists across mode toggles — into each scanned candidate. Applied to
every call site of the per-node scan. A later fix in the same branch
also enforces directory agreement to prevent a same-name /
different-directory collision from stamping the wrong metadata.

### 3. Initial full scan surfaced interior errors of a muted/bypassed
subgraph container

`scanAllModelCandidates`, `scanAllMediaCandidates`, and the JSON-based
missing-node scan only check each node's own mode. Interior nodes whose
parent container was bypassed passed the filter.

Added `isAncestorPathActive(rootGraph, executionId)` to
`graphTraversalUtil` and post-filter the three pipelines in `app.ts`
after the live rootGraph is configured. The filter uses the execution-ID
path (`"65:63"` → check node 65's mode) so it handles both
live-scan-produced and JSON-enrichment-produced candidates.

### 4. Bypassed subgraph entry re-surfaced interior errors

`useGraphNodeManager` replays `graph.onNodeAdded` for each existing
interior node when the Vue node manager initializes on subgraph entry.
That chain reached `scanSingleNodeErrors` via
`installErrorClearingHooks`' `onNodeAdded` override. Each interior
node's own mode was active, so the caller guards passed and the scan
re-introduced the error that the initial pipeline had correctly
suppressed.

Added an ancestor-activity gate at the top of `scanSingleNodeErrors`,
the single entry point shared by paste, un-bypass, subgraph entry, and
subgraph container activation. A later commit also hardens this guard
against detached nodes (null execution ID → skip) and applies the same
ancestor check to `isCandidateStillActive` in the realtime verification
callback.

## Tests

- 6 unit tests for `isAncestorPathActive` (root, active,
immediate-bypass, deep-nested mute, unresolvable ancestor, null
rootGraph)
- 4 unit tests for `enrichCandidateFromNodeProperties` (enrichment,
no-overwrite, name mismatch, directory mismatch)
- 1 unit test for `scanSingleNodeErrors` ancestor guard (subgraph entry
replaying onNodeAdded)
- 2 unit tests for `useErrorGroups` dual export + ErrorOverlay contract
- 4 E2E tests:
- ErrorOverlay model count stays constant when a node is selected (new
fixture `missing_models_distinct.json`)
- Bypass/un-bypass cycle preserves Copy URL button (uses
`missing_models_from_node_properties`)
- Loading a workflow with bypassed subgraph suppresses interior missing
model error (new fixture `missing_models_in_bypassed_subgraph.json`)
- Entering a bypassed subgraph does not resurface interior missing model
error (shares the above fixture)

`pnpm typecheck`, `pnpm lint`, 206 related unit tests passing.

521019d173 fix: exclude muted/bypassed nodes from missing asset detection (#10856)
## Summary

Muted and bypassed nodes are excluded from execution but were still
triggering missing model/media/node warnings. This PR makes the error
system mode-aware: muted/bypassed nodes no longer produce missing asset
errors, and all error lifecycle events (mode toggle, deletion, paste,
undo, tab switch) are handled consistently.

- Fixes Comfy-Org/ComfyUI#13256

## Behavioral notes

- **Tab switch overlay suppression (intentional)**: Switching back to a
workflow with missing assets no longer re-shows the error overlay. This
reverses the behavior introduced in #10190. The error state is still
restored silently in the errors tab — users can access it via the
properties panel without being interrupted by the overlay on every tab
switch.

## Changes

### 1. Scan filtering

- `scanAllModelCandidates`, `scanAllMediaCandidates`,
`scanMissingNodes`: skip nodes with `mode === NEVER || BYPASS`
- `collectMissingNodes` (serialized data): skip error reporting for
muted/bypassed nodes while still calling `sanitizeNodeName` for safe
`configure()`
- `collectEmbeddedModelsWithSource`: skip muted/bypassed nodes;
workflow-level `graphData.models` only create candidates when active
nodes exist
- `enrichWithEmbeddedMetadata`: filter unmatched workflow-level models
when all referencing nodes are inactive

### 2. Realtime mode change handling

- `useErrorClearingHooks.ts` chains `graph.onTrigger` to detect
`node:property:changed` (mode)
- Deactivation (active → muted/bypassed): remove missing
model/media/node errors for the node
- Activation (muted/bypassed → active): scan the node and add confirmed
errors, show overlay
- Subgraph container deactivation: remove all interior node errors
(execution ID prefix match)
- Subgraph container activation: scan all active interior nodes
recursively
- Subgraph interior mode change: resolve node via
`localGraph.getNodeById()` then compute execution ID from root graph

### 3. Node deletion

- `graph.onNodeRemoved`: remove missing model/media/node errors for the
deleted node
- Handle `node.graph === null` at callback time by using
`String(node.id)` for root-level nodes

### 4. Node paste/duplicate

- `graph.onNodeAdded`: scan via `queueMicrotask` (deferred until after
`node.configure()` restores widget values)
- Guard: skip during `ChangeTracker.isLoadingGraph` (undo/redo/tab
switch handled by pipeline)
- Guard: skip muted/bypassed nodes

### 5. Workflow tab switch optimization

- `skipAssetScans` option in `loadGraphData`: skip full pipeline on tab
switch
- Cache missing model/media/node state per workflow via
`PendingWarnings`
- `beforeLoadNewGraph`: save current store state to outgoing workflow's
`pendingWarnings`
- `showPendingWarnings`: restore cached errors silently (no overlay),
always sync missing nodes store (even when null)
- Preserve UI state (`fileSizes`, `urlInputs`) on tab switch by using
`setMissingModels([])` instead of `clearMissingModels()`
- `MissingModelRow.vue`: fetch file size on mount via
`fetchModelMetadata` memory cache

### 6. Undo/redo overlay suppression

- `silentAssetErrors` option propagated through pipeline →
`surfaceMissingModels`/`surfaceMissingMedia` `{ silent }` option
- `showPendingWarnings` `{ silent }` option for missing nodes overlay
- `changeTracker.ts`: pass `silentAssetErrors: true` on undo/redo

### 7. Error tab node filtering

- Selected node filters missing model/media card contents (not just
group visibility)
- `isAssetErrorInSelection`: resolve execution ID → graph node for
selection matching
- Missing nodes intentionally unfiltered (pack-level scope)
- `hasMissingMediaSelected` added to `RightSidePanel.vue` error tab
visibility
- Download All button: show only when 2+ downloadable models exist

### 8. New store functions

- `missingModelStore`: `addMissingModels`, `removeMissingModelsByNodeId`
- `missingMediaStore`: `addMissingMedia`, `removeMissingMediaByNodeId`
- `missingNodesErrorStore`: `removeMissingNodesByNodeId`
- `missingModelScan`: `scanNodeModelCandidates` (extracted single-node
scan)
- `missingMediaScan`: `scanNodeMediaCandidates` (extracted single-node
scan)

### 9. Test infrastructure improvements

- `data-testid` on `RightSidePanel.vue` tabs (`panel-tab-{value}`)
- Error-related TestIds moved from `dialogs` to `errorsTab` namespace in
`selectors.ts`
- Removed unused `TestIdValue` type
- Extracted `cleanupFakeModel` to shared `ErrorsTabHelper.ts`
- Renamed `openErrorsTabViaSeeErrors` → `loadWorkflowAndOpenErrorsTab`
- Added `aria-label` to pencil edit button and subgraph toggle button

## Test plan

### Unit tests (41 new)

- Store functions: `addMissing*`, `removeMissing*ByNodeId`
- `executionErrorStore`: `surfaceMissing*` silent option
- Scan functions: muted/bypassed filtering, `scanNodeModelCandidates`,
`scanNodeMediaCandidates`
- `workflowService`: `showPendingWarnings` silent, `beforeLoadNewGraph`
caching

### E2E tests (17 new in `errorsTabModeAware.spec.ts`)

**Missing nodes**
- [x] Deleting a missing node removes its error from the errors tab
- [x] Undo after bypass restores error without showing overlay

**Missing models**
- [x] Loading a workflow with all nodes bypassed shows no errors
- [x] Bypassing a node hides its error, un-bypassing restores it
- [x] Deleting a node with missing model removes its error
- [x] Undo after bypass restores error without showing overlay
- [x] Pasting a node with missing model increases referencing node count
- [x] Pasting a bypassed node does not add a new error
- [x] Selecting a node filters errors tab to only that node

**Missing media**
- [x] Loading a workflow with all nodes bypassed shows no errors
- [x] Bypassing a node hides its error, un-bypassing restores it
- [x] Pasting a bypassed node does not add a new error
- [x] Selecting a node filters errors tab to only that node

**Subgraph**
- [x] Bypassing a subgraph hides interior errors, un-bypassing restores
them
- [x] Bypassing a node inside a subgraph hides its error, un-bypassing
restores it

**Workflow switching**
- [x] Does not resurface error overlay when switching back to workflow
with missing nodes
- [x] Restores missing nodes in errors tab when switching back to
workflow

f90d6cf607 test: migrate 132 test files from @vue/test-utils to @testing-library/vue (#10965)
## Summary

Migrate 132 test files from `@vue/test-utils` (VTU) to
`@testing-library/vue` (VTL) with `@testing-library/user-event`,
adopting user-centric behavioral testing patterns across the codebase.

## Changes

- **What**: Systematic migration of component/unit tests from VTU's
`mount`/`wrapper` API to VTL's `render`/`screen`/`userEvent` API across
132 files in `src/`
- **Breaking**: None — test-only changes, no production code affected

### Migration breakdown

| Batch | Files | Description |
|-------|-------|-------------|
| 1 | 19 | Simple render/assert tests |
| 2A | 16 | Interactive tests with user events |
| 2B-1 | 14 | Interactive tests (continued) |
| 2B-2 | 32 | Interactive tests (continued) |
| 3A–3E | 51 | Complex tests (stores, composables, heavy mocking) |
| Lint fix | 7 | `await` on `fireEvent` calls for `no-floating-promises`
|
| Review fixes | 15 | Address CodeRabbit feedback (3 rounds) |

### Review feedback addressed

- Removed class-based assertions (`text-ellipsis`, `pr-3`, `.pi-save`,
`.skeleton`, `.bg-black\/15`, Tailwind utilities) in favor of
behavioral/accessible queries
- Added null guards before `querySelector` casts
- Added `expect(roots).toHaveLength(N)` guards before indexed NodeList
access
- Wrapped fake timer tests in `try/finally` for guaranteed cleanup
- Split double-render tests into focused single-render tests
- Replaced CSS class selectors with
`screen.getByText`/`screen.getByRole` queries
- Updated stubs to use semantic `role`/`aria-label` instead of CSS
classes
- Consolidated redundant edge-case tests
- Removed manual `document.body.appendChild` in favor of VTL container
management
- Used distinct mock return values to verify command wiring

### VTU holdouts (2 files)

These files intentionally retain `@vue/test-utils` because their
components use `<script setup>` without `defineExpose`, making internal
computed properties and methods inaccessible via VTL:

1. **`NodeWidgets.test.ts`** — partial VTU for `vm.processedWidgets`
2. **`WidgetSelectDropdown.test.ts`** — full VTU for heavy
`wrapper.vm.*` access

## Follow-up

Deferred items (`ComponentProps` typing, camelCase listener props)
tracked in #10966.

## Review Focus

- Test correctness: all migrated tests preserve original behavioral
coverage
- VTL idioms: proper use of `screen` queries, `userEvent`, and
accessibility-based selectors
- The 2 VTU holdout files are intentional, not oversights

3f375bea9c test: comprehensive E2E tests for error dialog, overlay, and errors tab (#10848)
## Summary

Comprehensive Playwright E2E tests for the error systems: ErrorDialog,
ErrorOverlay, and the errors tab (missing nodes, models, media,
execution errors).

## Changes

- **What**:
- **ErrorDialog** (`errorDialog.spec.ts`, 7 tests): configure/prompt
error triggers, Show Report, Copy to Clipboard, Find Issues on GitHub,
Contact Support
- **ErrorOverlay** (`errorOverlay.spec.ts`, 12 tests): error count
labels, per-type button labels (missing nodes/models/media/multiple),
See Errors flow (open panel, dismiss, close), undo/redo persistence
- **Errors tab — common** (`errorsTab.spec.ts`, 3 tests): tab
visibility, search/filter execution errors
- **Errors tab — Missing nodes** (`errorsTabMissingNodes.spec.ts`, 5
tests): MissingNodeCard, packs group, expand/collapse, locate button
- **Errors tab — Missing models** (`errorsTabMissingModels.spec.ts`, 6
tests): group display, model name, expand/referencing nodes, clipboard
copy, OSS Copy URL/Download buttons
- **Errors tab — Missing media** (`errorsTabMissingMedia.spec.ts`, 7
tests): migrated from `missingMedia.spec.ts` with detection,
upload/library/cancel flows, locate
- **Errors tab — Execution** (`errorsTabExecution.spec.ts`, 2 tests):
Find on GitHub/Copy buttons, runtime error panel
- **Shared helpers**: `ErrorsTabHelper.ts` (openErrorsTabViaSeeErrors),
`clipboardSpy.ts` (interceptClipboardWrite/getClipboardText)
- **Component changes**: added `data-testid` to
`ErrorDialogContent.vue`, `FindIssueButton.vue`, `MissingModelRow.vue`,
`MissingModelCard.vue`
  - **Selectors**: registered all new test IDs in `selectors.ts`
- **Test assets**: `missing_nodes_and_media.json` (compound errors),
`missing_models_with_nodes.json` (expand/locate)
- **Migrations**: error tests from `dialog.spec.ts` → dedicated files,
`errorOverlaySeeErrors.spec.ts` → `errorOverlay.spec.ts`,
`missingMedia.spec.ts` → `errorsTabMissingMedia.spec.ts`

## Review Focus

- OSS tests (`@oss` tag) verify Download/Copy URL buttons appear for
models with embedded URLs.
- The `missing_models.json` fixture must remain without nodes — adding
`CheckpointLoaderSimple` nodes causes directory mismatch in
`enrichWithEmbeddedMetadata` that prevents URL enrichment. A separate
`missing_models_with_nodes.json` fixture is used for expand/locate
tests.

## Cloud tests deferred

Missing model cloud environment tests (`@cloud` tag — hidden buttons,
import-unsupported notice) are deferred to a follow-up PR. The
`comfyPage` fixture cannot bypass the Firebase auth guard in cloud
builds, causing `window.app` initialization timeout. A separate infra PR
is needed to add cloud auth bypass to the fixture.

## Bug Discovery

During testing, a bug was found where the **Locate button for missing
nodes in subgraphs fails on initial workflow load**.
`collectMissingNodes` in `loadGraphData` captures execution IDs using
pre-`configure()` JSON node IDs, but `configure()` triggers subgraph
node ID deduplication (PR #8762, always-on since PR #9510) which remaps
colliding IDs. This will be addressed in a follow-up PR.

- Fixes #10847 (tracked, fix pending in separate PR)

## Testing

- 42 new/migrated E2E tests across 8 spec files
- All OSS tests pass locally and in CI

d9466947b2 feat: detect and resolve missing media inputs in error tab (#10309)
## Summary

Add detection and resolution UI for missing image/video/audio inputs
(LoadImage, LoadVideo, LoadAudio nodes) in the Errors tab, mirroring the
existing missing model pipeline.

## Changes

- **What**: New `src/platform/missingMedia/` module — scan pipeline
detects missing media files on workflow load (sync for OSS, async for
cloud), surfaces them in the error tab with upload dropzone, thumbnail
library select, and 2-step confirm flow
- **Detection**: `scanAllMediaCandidates()` checks combo widget values
against options; cloud path defers to `verifyCloudMediaCandidates()` via
`assetsStore.updateInputs()`
- **UI**: `MissingMediaCard` groups by media type; `MissingMediaRow`
shows node name (single) or filename+count (multiple), upload dropzone
with drag & drop, `MissingMediaLibrarySelect` with image/video
thumbnails
- **Resolution**: Upload via `/upload/image` API or select from library
→ status card → checkmark confirm → widget value applied, item removed
from error list
- **Integration**: `executionErrorStore` aggregates into
`hasAnyError`/`totalErrorCount`; `useNodeErrorFlagSync` flags nodes on
canvas; `useErrorGroups` renders in error tab
- **Shared**: Extract `ACCEPTED_IMAGE_TYPES`/`ACCEPTED_VIDEO_TYPES` to
`src/utils/mediaUploadUtil.ts`; extract `resolveComboValues` to
`src/utils/litegraphUtil.ts` (shared across missingMedia + missingModel
scan)
- **Reverse clearing**: Widget value changes on nodes auto-remove
corresponding missing media errors (via `clearWidgetRelatedErrors`)

## Testing

### Unit tests (22 tests)
- `missingMediaScan.test.ts` (12): groupCandidatesByName,
groupCandidatesByMediaType (ordering, multi-name),
verifyCloudMediaCandidates (missing/present, abort before/after
updateInputs, already resolved true/false, no-pending skip, updateInputs
spy)
- `missingMediaStore.test.ts` (10): setMissingMedia, clearMissingMedia
(full lifecycle with interaction state), missingMediaNodeIds,
hasMissingMediaOnNode, removeMissingMediaByWidget
(match/no-match/last-entry), createVerificationAbortController

### E2E tests (10 scenarios in `missingMedia.spec.ts`)
- Detection: error overlay shown, Missing Inputs group in errors tab,
correct row count, dropzone + library select visibility, no false
positive for valid media
- Upload flow: file picker → uploading status card → confirm → row
removed
- Library select: dropdown → selected status card → confirm → row
removed
- Cancel: pending selection → returns to upload/library UI
- All resolved: Missing Inputs group disappears
- Locate node: canvas pans to missing media node

## Review Focus

- Cloud verification path: `verifyCloudMediaCandidates` compares widget
value against `asset_hash` — implicit contract
- 2-step confirm mirrors missing model pattern (`pendingSelection` →
confirm/cancel)
- Event propagation guard on dropzone (`@drop.prevent.stop`) to prevent
canvas LoadImage node creation
- `clearAllErrors()` intentionally does NOT clear missing media (same as
missing models — preserves pending repairs)
- `runMissingMediaPipeline` is now `async` and `await`-ed, matching
model pipeline

## Test plan

- [x] OSS: load workflow with LoadImage referencing non-existent file →
error tab shows it
- [x] Upload file via dropzone → status card shows "Uploaded" → confirm
→ widget updated, error removed
- [x] Select from library with thumbnail preview → confirm → widget
updated, error removed
- [x] Cancel pending selection → returns to upload/library UI
- [x] Load workflow with valid images → no false positives
- [x] Click locate-node → canvas navigates to the node
- [x] Multiple nodes referencing different missing files → correct row
count
- [x] Widget value change on node → missing media error auto-removed

661e3d7949 test: migrate as unknown as to @total-typescript/shoehorn (#10761)
*PR Created by the Glary-Bot Agent*

---

## Summary

- Replace all `as unknown as Type` assertions in 59 unit test files with
type-safe `@total-typescript/shoehorn` functions
- Use `fromPartial<Type>()` for partial mock objects where deep-partial
type-checks (21 files)
- Use `fromAny<Type>()` for fundamentally incompatible types: null,
undefined, primitives, variables, class expressions, and mocks with
test-specific extra properties that `PartialDeepObject` rejects
(remaining files)
- All explicit type parameters preserved so TypeScript return types are
correct
- Browser test `.spec.ts` files excluded (shoehorn unavailable in
`page.evaluate` browser context)

## Verification

- `pnpm typecheck`
- `pnpm lint`
- `pnpm format`
- Pre-commit hooks passed (format + oxlint + eslint + typecheck)
- Migrated test files verified passing (ran representative subset)
- No test behavior changes — only type assertion syntax changed
- No UI changes — screenshots not applicable

a3cf6fcde0 fix: convert download URLs to browsable page URLs in Copy Url button (#10228)
## Summary

- Copy Url button in MissingModelRow now copies a browsable page URL
instead of a direct download URL
- HuggingFace: `/resolve/` → `/blob/` (file page with model info and
download button)
- Civitai: strips `/api/download` or `/api/v1` prefix (model page)

## Changes

- Add `toBrowsableUrl()` to `missingModelDownload.ts` — converts
download URLs to browsable page URLs for HuggingFace and Civitai
- Update `MissingModelRow.vue` to use `toBrowsableUrl()` when copying
- Add 5 unit tests covering HuggingFace, Civitai, and non-matching URL
cases

## Test plan

- [x] Unit tests pass (14/14) — `toBrowsableUrl` covered by 5 dedicated
tests
- [x] Lint, format, typecheck pass
- [x] Manual: load workflow with missing HuggingFace models, click Copy
Url, verify copied URL opens the file page
- [x] Manual: load workflow with missing Civitai models, click Copy Url,
verify copied URL opens the model page

### Why no E2E test

The Copy Url button is only visible when `!isCloud &&
model.representative.url && !isAssetSupported`. Writing an E2E test for
the clipboard content would require:

1. A test fixture with a real HuggingFace/Civitai URL (fragile — depends
on external availability)
2. Granting `clipboard-read` permission in Playwright context
3. Ensuring `isAssetSupported` evaluates to `false` against the local
test server's node definitions

The URL transformation logic is a pure function, fully covered by unit
tests. E2E clipboard content verification has no existing patterns in
the codebase and would be environment-dependent and flaky.

cdf74c36f7 tool: add layer architecture boundary lint rule (#10109)
## Summary
- Add `import-x/no-restricted-paths` ESLint rule enforcing the `base →
platform → workbench → renderer` layer hierarchy
- Set to `error` with eslint-disable comments on existing violations
(~11 suppressions)
- Consolidate zone definitions using array syntax for `from`/`target`
- Add `layer-audit` Claude skill for auditing violations
- Fix knip false positive for `zod` dependency in ingest-types

## Context
Ref:
https://github.com/Comfy-Org/ComfyUI_frontend/pull/10021#discussion_r2939392141

The codebase is migrating toward a layered architecture. This adds
static enforcement so new violations are caught in PR CI.

### Layer rules
| Layer | Can import from |
|---|---|
| `base/` | nothing |
| `platform/` | `base/` |
| `workbench/` | `platform/`, `base/` |
| `renderer/` | `workbench/`, `platform/`, `base/` |

### Current violations (pre-existing, suppressed with eslint-disable)
| Direction | Count |
|---|---|
| base → platform | 2 |
| platform → workbench | 3 |
| platform → renderer | 5 |
| workbench → renderer | 1 |

## Test plan
- [x] `pnpm lint` passes (0 errors, 0 warnings)
- [x] `pnpm typecheck` passes
- [x] `pnpm knip` passes
- [ ] CI green

f6bc0ff1ee fix: allow URL input for free tier users, gate on import button (#10024)
## Summary
- Remove free-tier restriction from the URL input field in
`MissingModelUrlInput.vue` so it is always editable
- Move the subscription check (`canImportModels`) to the Import button
click handler — free-tier users see the upgrade modal only when they
attempt to import
- Extract inline ternary to named `handleImportClick` method for clarity

## Test plan
- [x] Unit tests added (`MissingModelUrlInput.test.ts`) verifying:
  - URL input is always editable regardless of subscription tier
  - Import button calls `handleImport` for paid users
- Import button calls `showUploadDialog` (upgrade modal) for free-tier
users
- [x] Verify URL input is editable for free-tier users on cloud
- [x] Verify clicking Import as free-tier opens the subscription modal
- [x] Verify paid users can import normally without changes

## E2E test rationale
Playwright E2E regression tests are impractical for this change because
`MissingModelUrlInput` only renders when `isAssetSupported` is true,
which requires `isCloud` — a compile-time constant (`__DISTRIBUTION__`).
The OSS test build always sets `isCloud = false`, so the component never
renders in the E2E environment. Unit tests with mocked feature flags
provide equivalent behavioral coverage.

e2ef041170 feat: surface missing models in Error Tab for OSS and remove legacy dialog (#9921)
## Summary
- Surface missing models in the Error Tab for OSS environments,
replacing the legacy modal dialog
- Add Download button per model and Download All button in group header
with file size display
- Move download business logic from `components/dialog/content` to
`platform/missingModel`
- Remove legacy missing models dialog components and composable

## Changes
- **Pipeline**: Remove `isCloud` guard from `scanAllModelCandidates` and
`surfaceMissingModels` so OSS detects missing models
- **Grouping**: Group non-asset-supported models by directory in OSS
instead of lumping into UNSUPPORTED
- **UI**: Add Download button (matching Install Node Pack design) and
Download All header button
- **Store**: Add `folderPaths`/`fileSizes` state with setter methods,
race condition guard
- **Cleanup**: Delete `MissingModelsContent`, `MissingModelsHeader`,
`MissingModelsFooter`, `useMissingModelsDialog`, `missingModelsUtils`
- **Tests**: Add OSS/Cloud grouping tests, migrate Playwright E2E to
Error Tab, improve test isolation
- **Snapshots**: Reset Playwright screenshot expectations since OSS
missing model error detection now causes red highlights on affected
nodes
- **Accessibility**: Add `aria-label` with model name, `aria-expanded`
on toggle, warning icon for unknown category

## Test plan
- [x] Unit tests pass (86 tests)
- [x] TypeScript typecheck passes
- [x] knip passes
- [x] Load workflow with missing models in OSS → Error Tab shows missing
models grouped by directory
- [x] Download button triggers browser download with correct URL
- [x] Download All button downloads all downloadable models
- [x] Cloud environment behavior unchanged
- [x] Playwright E2E: `pnpm test:browser:local -- --grep "Missing models
in Error Tab"`

31a33a0ba2 feat: auto-resolve simple validation errors on widget change and slot connection (#9464)
## Summary

Automatically clears transient validation errors
(`value_bigger_than_max`, `value_smaller_than_min`, `value_not_in_list`,
`required_input_missing`) when the user modifies a widget value or
connects an input slot, so resolved errors don't linger in the error
panel. Also clears missing model state when the user changes a combo
widget value.

## Changes

- **`useNodeErrorAutoResolve` composable**: watches widget changes and
slot connections, clears matching errors via `executionErrorStore`
- **`executionErrorStore`**: adds `clearSimpleNodeErrors` and
`clearSimpleWidgetErrorIfValid` with granular per-slot error removal
- **`executionErrorUtil`**: adds `isValueStillOutOfRange` to prevent
premature clearing when a new value still violates the constraint
- **`graphTraversalUtil`**: adds `getExecutionIdFromNodeData` for
subgraph-aware execution ID resolution
- **`GraphCanvas.vue`**: fixes subgraph error key lookup by using
`getExecutionIdByNode` instead of raw `node.id`
- **`NodeWidgets.vue`**: wires up the new composable to the widget layer
- **`missingModelStore`**: adds `removeMissingModelByWidget` to clear
missing model state on widget value change
- **`useGraphNodeManager`**: registers composable per node
- **Tests**: 126 new unit tests covering error clearing, range
validation, and graph traversal edge cases

2f7f3c4e56 [feat] Surface missing models in Errors tab (Cloud) (#9743)
## Summary
When a workflow is loaded with missing models, users currently have no
way to identify or resolve them from within the UI. This PR adds a full
missing-model detection and resolution pipeline that surfaces missing
models in the Errors tab, allowing users to install or import them
without leaving the editor.

## Changes

### Missing Model Detection
- Scan all COMBO widgets across root graph and subgraphs for model-like
filenames during workflow load
- Enrich candidates with embedded workflow metadata (url, hash,
directory) when available
- Verify asset-supported candidates against the asset store
asynchronously to confirm installation status
- Propagate missing model state to `executionErrorStore` alongside
existing node/prompt errors

### Errors Tab UI — Model Resolution
- Group missing models by directory (e.g. `checkpoints`, `loras`, `vae`)
with collapsible category cards
- Each model row displays:
  - Model name with copy-to-clipboard button
  - Expandable list of referencing nodes with locate-on-canvas button
- **Library selector**: Pick an alternative from the user's existing
models to substitute the missing model with one click
- **URL import**: Paste a Civitai or HuggingFace URL to import a model
directly; debounced metadata fetch shows filename and file size before
confirming; type-mismatch warnings (e.g. importing a LoRA into
checkpoints directory) are surfaced with an "Import Anyway" option
- **Upgrade prompt**: In cloud environment, free-tier subscribers are
shown an upgrade modal when attempting URL import
- Separate "Import Not Supported" section for custom-node models that
cannot be auto-resolved
- Status card with live download progress, completion, failure, and
category-mismatch states

### Canvas Integration
- Highlight nodes and widgets that reference missing models with error
indicators
- Propagate missing-model badges through subgraph containers so issues
are visible at every graph level

### Code Cleanup
- Simplify `surfacePendingWarnings` in workflowService, remove stale
widget-detected model merging logic
- Add `flattenWorkflowNodes` utility to workflowSchema for traversing
nested subgraph structures
- Extract `MissingModelUrlInput`, `MissingModelLibrarySelect`,
`MissingModelStatusCard` as focused single-responsibility components

## Testing
- Unit tests for scan pipeline (`missingModelScan.test.ts`): enrichment,
skip-installed, subgraph flattening
- Unit tests for store (`missingModelStore.test.ts`): state management,
removal helpers
- Unit tests for interactions (`useMissingModelInteractions.test.ts`):
combo select, URL input, import flow, library confirm
- Component tests for `MissingModelCard` and error grouping
(`useErrorGroups.test.ts`)
- Updated `workflowService.test.ts` and `workflowSchema.test.ts` for new
logic

## Review Focus
- Missing model scan + enrichment pipeline in `missingModelScan.ts`
- Interaction composable `useMissingModelInteractions.ts` — URL metadata
fetch, library install, upload fallback
- Store integration and canvas-level error propagation
