78469817a7 refactor: migrate app-side input.link readers to store-backed queries
App code reads input connectivity through node.isInputConnected /
node.getInputLink or the new slotLinks input helpers (inputHasLink,
inputLinkId, inputLink) instead of the input.link mirror. Serialized
operators (litegraphUtil compression, migrateReroute, linkFixer) and the
mirror-carried association shuffles (dynamicWidgets autogrow,
fixLinkInputSlots, useNodeReplacement transplant writes) stay on the
mirror until it is deleted.

84693005e4 fix: resolve badge graph id live and register nodes after onNodeAdded
LGraph.clear() and configure() reassign the root graph id, so the badge
system now resolves it on every recompute instead of capturing it at
start; a captured id stranded the system on a dead bucket after
Clear Workflow, dropping every badge on nodes added afterwards.

LGraph.add registers the node in the badge store only after
onNodeAdded: the store write wakes the system watcher and queues Vue's
flush, which must not overtake the deferred paste scan that surfaces
missing-model errors before selection-scoped tabs recalculate.

51ba284f7f fix: preserve legacy subgraph credits semantics and settle pricing cache
Wrapper aggregation counts inner api nodes (the old unconditional
per-api-node badge basis) rather than resolved credits rows, so a
pending async price still yields 'Partner Nodes x N'; the label is
localized via nodeBadge.partnerNodesCount. useNodePricing now caches
labels per signature: a leaf's own read and its wrapper's
promoted-override read previously shared one cache slot and evicted
each other, re-scheduling evaluations forever once both ran in eager
system effects.

7e08de9e3b feat: cut both renderers over to store badge rows
Legacy drawBadges renders the store rows through a per-node memoized
LGraphBadge cache (core parts joined id/lifecycle/source and truncated,
icons resolved via a badge icon registry) followed by the raw
node.badges extension surface, whose thunks still evaluate per frame.
The Vue partition reads the same rows — trimming lifecycle brackets and
swapping a built-in node's source row for the Comfy logo chip — plus the
raw extension surface.

useNodeBadge now bootstraps the badge system per root graph and forwards
the subgraph structure events; dynamic-pricing recalculation wiring is
kept. The usePriceBadge closures, the VueNodeData.badges mirror, its
property trigger, and node.badgePosition (no ecosystem uses; single
writer/reader) are deleted. node.badges itself stays: three custom-node
packs actively push to it.

be9de941c9 refactor: brand link slot and reroute ids (#13296)
## Summary

Brand link, reroute, and slot identifiers through LiteGraph, subgraph,
and layout flows so raw numeric workflow data is converted at boundaries
while runtime APIs keep branded IDs.

## Changes

- **What**: Add canonical `LinkId`, `RerouteId`, and `SlotId` types plus
minting helpers, then re-export litegraph/layout ID types from those
modules.
- **What**: Keep `LinkId`, `RerouteId`, and `SlotId` references branded
across graph links, reroutes, node slots, subgraph slots, link
deduplication, link drop handling, layout storage, and tests.
- **What**: Convert raw numeric IDs only at periphery points: serialized
workflow DTOs, legacy graph link proxy access, copied/pasted graph data,
Yjs/string layout keys, and test fixtures.
- **What**: Move slot layout identity onto branded `SlotId` values using
stable `node:direction:index` ordering, while keeping DOM dataset values
stringified at the boundary.
- **What**: Avoid slot-key scans during link drops by carrying the link
segment identity directly through the drop path.

## Review Focus

- Branded IDs should not be widened back to `LinkId | number` /
`RerouteId | number` in runtime APIs.
- Serialized workflow shapes intentionally remain numeric for
compatibility.
- `_subgraphSlot.linkIds` remains `LinkId[]`; call sites should not
treat it as raw `number[]`.
- `MapProxyHandler` is the compatibility boundary for deprecated indexed
`graph.links[id]` access.

## Validation

b4ae6344d7 Brand local node IDs (#13085)
## Summary

Adds a branded local `NodeId` helper and starts separating local node
identity from serialized workflow IDs.

## Changes

- **What**: Adds central `NodeId` parsing/branding helpers, migrates
nearby widget identity types, keeps queue results at the serialized
boundary, and removes misleading workflow `NodeId` usage from execution
error maps.

## Review Focus

Check that the first migration slice keeps serialized/API IDs as raw
`number | string` while local UI/store IDs use the branded string type.

## Caveat

`SUBGRAPH_INPUT_ID` and `SUBGRAPH_OUTPUT_ID` are now branded local
`NodeId` string values internally instead of numeric sentinels.
Reviewers should double-check extension compatibility for callers that
import `Constants` and compare those values numerically.

395b0a1c89 fix: prevent NullGraphError on subgraph node removal (#11804)
## Summary

Various race conditions can cause `NullGraphError` to be thrown after
removing/converting a subgraph. This fix guards at call sites and
refactors to add a pre-removal phase before the graph is nulled.

## Changes

- **What**:
- add pre-detach event (node:before-removed) so reactive consumers can
drop references before node.graph is nulled
- move selection and Vue node-manager teardown to this event to
eliminate stale panel/render evaluations against detached nodes
- guard SubgraphNode promoted-widget paths resilient on detached access
and add regression coverage
- **Breaking**: <!-- Any breaking changes (if none, remove this line)
-->
- **Dependencies**: <!-- New dependencies (if none, remove this line)
-->

## Review Focus
Alternative considered approach:
- Guards: Guards were treating the symptom at every caller, and new
callers may appear that won't know about this edge case. Adding a new
hook for consumers to drop refs is safer than trying to guard every call
site - the ones that are left in are safetynets and not the primary fix.
- Large scale refactor (towards ADR0008) - requires additional
scaffolding to already be in place to implement effectively, this fix
simply adds a new hook and isnt incompatible with the projects future
goals
- Defer/remove/reorder graph null - The detach was explicitly added in
#8180 to ensure GC - delaying is fragile and may not resolve the issue,
difficult to prove and may surface a new race condition
- Make rootGraph nullable - would require 100s of references to be
updated, when `NullGraphError` was added in #8180 to throw a clear
message when the graph for a removed subgraph node was referenced,
potentially leading to other harder to track bugs without the exception

Tests:

- e2e test complexity is required to prove the issue happens, patching
calls to add artificial delays. This isn't great, but I could not find a
reliable way to recreate otherwise, unless we are happy to drop e2e and
keep only unit tests.

6068571b35 Refactor: Brand node execution and locator IDs (#13071)
## Summary

- Brand `NodeExecutionId` and `NodeLocatorId` as distinct required
string types.
- Route execution/locator ID construction through existing helper
functions instead of minting raw strings at call sites.
- Update tests and boundary parsing to use branded IDs without
conflating them with local `NodeId` values.

## Validation

- `pnpm typecheck`
- `pnpm test:unit src/types/nodeIdentification.test.ts
src/stores/executionStore.test.ts
src/renderer/extensions/vueNodes/components/NodeSlots.test.ts
src/composables/graph/useErrorClearingHooks.test.ts
src/platform/nodeReplacement/missingNodeScan.test.ts -- --runInBand`
- `pnpm exec eslint src/types/nodeIdentification.ts
src/utils/graphTraversalUtil.ts
src/platform/workflow/management/stores/workflowStore.ts
src/renderer/extensions/minimap/data/LayoutStoreDataSource.ts
src/renderer/extensions/vueNodes/execution/useNodeExecutionState.ts
src/stores/workspace/favoritedWidgetsStore.ts
src/stores/nodeOutputStore.ts
src/utils/__tests__/executionErrorTestUtils.ts
src/platform/nodeReplacement/missingNodeScan.test.ts
src/stores/executionStore.test.ts --cache`

Note: full `pnpm lint` timed out after 5 minutes while still in
stylelint startup, so targeted lint was run on changed files.

## Open Question

- Should root-level node IDs like `1` be considered valid
`NodeExecutionId` values, or should `isNodeExecutionId()` require a
colon and callers use a separate type/helper for root execution IDs?

e97cca9e4a feat: show node preview ghost when adding models from dialog & sidebar (#12765)
## Summary

Adds consistent ghost node behavior when clicking "use" on models from
either the model dialog or treeview - matching the Node Library & Node
Search.

## Changes

- **What**:
- Split `createModelNodeFromAsset` into `resolveModelNodeFromAsset` and
`startModelNodeDragFromAsset` to allow sharing logic between the two
drag sources
- Move NodeDragPreview file & use from being node library tab specific
to app level in GraphCanvas so all drag sources share it
- drag listeners now attach on `startDrag` and detach on cancel instead
of living for the tab's lifetime
- Updated `LGraphNodePreview` to accept widgetValues and prepend combo
options with passed value so it shows in the preview as the default

## Review Focus
- refactored positioning to use RAF with useMouse and transform to fix
laggy-follow behavior present in Firefox

e994e4df58 refactor: store-backed WidgetId subgraph host widgets; delete widgetValueIO layer (#12617)
## Summary

Make `WidgetId` (`graphId:nodeId:name`) the single canonical widget
identity and represent subgraph promoted host widgets as ordinary
store-backed widgets addressed by it. This deletes two whole indirection
layers — the `world/*` widget-entity-IO layer and the
`PromotedWidgetView` runtime — leaving one model: a widget's data lives
in `widgetValueStore` keyed by `WidgetId`, and a `SubgraphNode` input
references it via `input.widgetId`.

**Net +304 lines across 107 files** (5,044 added / 4,740 deleted):
production code is net **−798** (1,521 added / 2,319 deleted) while
tests are net **+1,102** (3,523 added / 2,421 deleted). 10 files deleted
outright, 14 added.

## What got deleted

The old design wrapped every promoted subgraph widget in a synthetic
`IBaseWidget` "view" object with live getters that followed the source
widget, plus a manager to keep view identities stable, plus an IO
indirection layer over the store. All of it is gone:

- `promotedWidgetView.ts` — the `PromotedWidgetView` class (draw /
pointer / DOM-sync / projection / deepest-source resolution getters)
- `PromotedWidgetViewManager.ts` — view reconciliation/caching
- `world/widgetValueIO.ts` — the IO wrapper over `widgetValueStore`
- `world/entityIds.ts` + `world/brand.ts` — the `WidgetEntityId`
branded-id layer and the `entityId` field
- `widgetNodeTypeGuard.ts` — only used by the deleted view
- the per-`SubgraphNode` view machinery (`_promotedViewManager`,
`_cacheVersion`, view-key generation, DOM position-override cleanup) and
every now-dead `isPromotedWidgetView` branch across the panel, menu,
store, and util consumers
- `domWidgetStore` position-override APIs (`setPositionOverride` /
`clearPositionOverride`), only used to render a promoted DOM widget on a
different host node

## Why it's simpler

- One source of truth. A promoted host widget is `WidgetState` in the
store, seeded from the source at promotion (`registerWidget` with a
deep-cloned snapshot) and independent thereafter. No synthetic widget
objects, no runtime source-following, no view cache to invalidate.
- Resolution is data-driven. `resolveConcretePromotedWidget` walks
`SubgraphNode` inputs (`input.widgetId` + `resolveSubgraphInputTarget`)
instead of chasing view objects through `node.widgets`. This also
**fixes two-layer nested promotion** — the previously-skipped parity
test now passes and resolves through to the deepest concrete widget.
- The right-panel Parameters tab renders a subgraph node's promoted
widgets through the **same** store-backed path as ordinary node widgets:
display reads `WidgetState` via `widget.widgetId`, and value writes go
through `widgetValueStore.setValue(widgetId)`.

## Changes

- **What**:
- `WidgetId` branded type + `widgetId()` / `parseWidgetId()` /
`isWidgetId()` and a `WidgetState` type; `widgetValueStore` is
`WidgetId`-native (`registerWidget` / `getWidget` / `setValue` /
`deleteWidget`).
- Promotion creates host `WidgetState` then an input projection
(`input.widgetId`); demotion clears it; serialization and legacy
`proxyWidgets` migration round-trip through `input.widgetId`.
- `promotedInputWidget.ts` projects a store-backed ordinary widget from
an input slot; `SubgraphNode.widgets` is now a projected getter over
inputs (kept Litegraph-shaped so the canvas renderer and extensions
still read `node.widgets`). `invalidatePromotedViews()` is retained as a
no-op for extension compatibility.
- `promotedWidgetControl.ts` applies `control_after_generate` (e.g. seed
increment) on the host node, since the interior control widget is
link-fed and its value is dead; `syncPromotedComboHostOptions` mirrors
interior combo options onto host state.
- `multilineTextarea.ts` extracts the reusable multiline DOM-widget
behavior out of `useStringWidget` and adds promoted multiline
materialization via a `createPromotedHostWidget` app-layer hook (keeping
Litegraph core free of Vue/Pinia/DOM).
- Late-bound `LiteGraph` singleton holder (`litegraphInstance.ts`) to
break a widget-init import cycle.
- **Breaking**:
  - `IBaseWidget.entityId` removed — use `widgetId`.
- `SubgraphNode.widgets` no longer exposes the old `PromotedWidgetView`
objects; promoted state lives in `widgetValueStore` keyed by
`input.widgetId` and `widgets` is a projection of inputs. The
`widget-promoted` event now carries the concrete interior widget.
Extension code reading `entityId` or relying on `PromotedWidgetView` is
affected.

## Review Focus

- Promotion / demotion / serialization round-tripping through
`input.widgetId` + `widgetValueStore`, incl. the legacy `proxyWidgets`
migration.
- Snapshot-at-promotion semantics (host widget does not follow the
source after creation), and the combo-options exception via
`syncPromotedComboHostOptions`.
- Two-layer nested resolution in `resolveConcretePromotedWidget` +
`SubgraphNode` nested-source resolution.
- The unified Parameters tab (`TabSubgraphInputs` → `SectionWidgets`):
value edit / rename / favorite / hide / reorder for promoted inputs are
wired through the store but warrant a visual/e2e pass.
- Litegraph-compat seams worth a careful read: projected
`SubgraphNode.widgets`, the canvas-edit `callback` bridge back to the
store, host-level `control_after_generate`, and the late-bound
`LiteGraph` holder / `domWidget.ts` import ordering.

daf07a7442 fix: node library drag drop to add node appears in wrong place in firefox (#12419)
## Summary

Firefox can give invalid drag coordinates causing incorrect drop
position (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1773886)
I was unable to consistently recreate this issue and it only happened in
Firefox, so not a candidate for e2e tests.

## Changes

- **What**:
- store position on `dragover` which looks to reliably report the
correct position and use that value on drop

dc46519fa7 feat: add app:node_added telemetry event (#12615)
## Summary

Adds a new `app:node_added` PostHog event that fires whenever a user
adds a node to the canvas, tagged with a `source` discriminator
(sidebar_drag, search_modal, paste, programmatic, unknown). Lets us
measure how users compose graphs — which we can't infer from any
existing event.

## Changes

- **What**: Subscribes to `LGraph.onNodeAdded` via
`installNodeAddedTelemetry()`. Source is threaded through call sites via
a synchronous module-level flag (`withNodeAddSource`) — `addNodeOnGraph`
signature is unchanged.
- Wired sources: sidebar drag (3 sidebars + canvas drop), search-modal
popover, vintage clipboard paste, programmatic adds (job menu, media
asset actions). Unrecognized paths fall through as `unknown`.
- **Skip on workflow load**: `ChangeTracker.isLoadingGraph` gates out
the bulk-add path. `workflow_imported` already covers that population,
and 4M imports/month × ~50 nodes would dwarf user-initiated signal.

## Review Focus

- Module-level flag is synchronous-only — the source is read inside the
synchronous `onNodeAdded` callback that fires during `graph.add()`.
Async code (e.g. `createNode`'s `await setTimeout(0)`) doesn't
interleave because the wrap is around `graph.add`, not the await.
- Unit test covers: fires with current source, defaults to 'unknown',
skips during workflow load, preserves existing onNodeAdded subscriber.

e566ec4ca3 refactor: relocate UUID and NodeId out of litegraph (#12581)
## Summary

Move the canonical `UUID` utilities and the `NodeId` alias up out of
`src/lib/litegraph/` so non-litegraph code can reference them without
crossing the litegraph layer boundary.

## Changes

- **What**:
- `src/lib/litegraph/src/utils/uuid.ts` → `src/utils/uuid.ts` (full
file: `UUID`, `zeroUuid`, `createUuidv4`).
- `NodeId` moves from `src/lib/litegraph/src/LGraphNode.ts` to
`src/world/entityIds.ts`. `LGraphNode.ts` re-exports it; the litegraph
barrel still re-exports `createUuidv4` / `UUID` so the package's public
surface is unchanged.
- All 22 importers updated to `@/utils/uuid` (both
`@/lib/litegraph/src/utils/uuid` and the litegraph-internal
`./utils/uuid` relative paths).
- Drops the two `import-x/no-restricted-paths` ESLint disables in
`src/world/entityIds.ts` that were waiting on these moves.
- **Breaking**: None — litegraph re-exports preserve backward
compatibility for downstream consumers.

## Review Focus

- Each importer's change is identical (`@/lib/litegraph/src/utils/uuid`
→ `@/utils/uuid`), generated by `sed`.
- `src/lib/litegraph/src/LGraphNode.ts` now does `import type { NodeId }
from '@/world/entityIds'` + `export type { NodeId }` — confirm this
satisfies the litegraph layer boundary rules.
- `src/world/entityIds.ts` defines `NodeId` locally as `number |
string`; no semantic change.

d86483a6af refactor: consolidate middle-button pan handling (#12491)
## Summary

Refactors middle mouse button pan handling around the intent of #11409,
dropping the outdated implementation details from that PR and aligning
the core behavior with the current main branch.

## Changes

- **What**: Centralized phase-specific middle mouse button handling in
`src/base/pointerUtils.ts`, added a shared Vue widget forwarding helper,
and updated canvas, LiteGraph, Vue node, and mask editor call sites to
use the same semantics.
- **Breaking**: None expected. This keeps existing middle-click pan
behavior while making pointerdown, pointermove, pointerup, and auxclick
checks explicit for their event phases.
- **Dependencies**: None.

## Review Focus

This PR is intentionally narrower than #11409. That PR had the right
goal, but its implementation became outdated against main: mask editor
tests now have helper coverage on main, Vue node/widget code has
shifted, and a blanket replacement with `isMiddlePointerInput` would
lose the bitmask behavior needed during pointermove drags.

The core difference is that this PR preserves the useful part of #11409,
namely removing scattered ad-hoc MMB checks, while avoiding stale
changes that no longer fit the current codebase.

Key behavior changes:

- `isMiddlePointerInput` is the conservative pointerdown-style check:
changed middle button or strict middle-only `buttons === 4`.
- `isMiddleButtonHeld` handles pointermove-style held-button bitmasks so
chorded drags with the middle button still pan.
- `isMiddleButtonEvent` handles pointerup/auxclick-style changed-button
events.
- Call sites now choose the phase-specific helper directly instead of
routing through an event-type dispatcher.
- String and markdown widgets now share
`forwardMiddleButtonToCanvas(...)` instead of duplicating three pointer
listeners each.
- The widget helper intentionally keeps the existing
`app.canvas.processMouseDown/Move/Up` forwarding route and only
centralizes the duplicated listener logic.
- Mask editor pan handling, Vue node pointer forwarding, graph canvas
pan forwarding, LiteGraph middle-click checks, input indicators, and
transform settling now use the centralized helpers.

Coverage added or updated:

- Unit coverage for middle-button helper semantics, including chorded
pointermove drags and pointercancel held-bit behavior.
- Unit coverage for widget forwarding helper down/move/up routing.
- Regression coverage for canvas, mask editor, Vue node media preview,
and transform-settling pointer handling.
- Browser coverage for middle-click drag panning on a Vue node, a
multiline string widget, and the mask editor canvas.

Validation run:

- `pnpm format`
- `pnpm lint`
- `pnpm typecheck`

0157b47024 feat(subgraph): Subgraph Link Only Promotion (ADR 0009) + migration/store hygiene (#12197)
## Summary

Introduces **Subgraph Link Only Promotion** (ADR 0009) — a new model for
surfacing inner subgraph widgets on the parent SubgraphNode by
*promoting through links* rather than by duplicating widget state on the
host. Ships with the hygiene/refactor pass on the migration, store, and
event layers that the new model depends on.

## What changes

### Subgraph Link Only Promotion (ADR 0009)

Promoted widgets are defined by the link from a SubgraphNode input to
the interior node, not by a duplicated widget instance on the host.
Consequences:

- A SubgraphNode renders inner widgets purely as a **projection** of the
interior widgets and links — no host-side state to drift.
- **Per-host independence**: multiple instances of the same SubgraphNode
render and edit their own values without cross-talk.
- **Reversible promote/demote**: structural link operation, so demote
preserves host slots and external connections (#12278).

### Supporting refactors

- **Migration** — Planner/classifier/repair/quarantine helpers collapsed
into a single `proxyWidgetMigration` entry point with black-box
round-trip coverage. Honors the source-node-id disambiguator on
`proxyWidgets`, so deduplicated names (e.g. `text`, `text_1`) resolve to
the right interior widget.
- **Widget identity** — `appMode` unified on `WidgetEntityId`; promoted
widget state is keyed by entityId across the store, DOM, and migration
paths.
- **SubgraphNode** — 3-key promoted-view cache replaced with a single
version counter + explicit `invalidatePromotedViews()` at mutation
sites; `id === -1` sentinel removed.
- **Events** — `LGraph.trigger()` now dispatches node trigger payloads
through `this.events`, replacing a leaky `onTrigger` monkey-patch.
`SubgraphEditor` reactivity is driven from subgraph events instead of
imperative refresh.
- **Stores** — `appModeStore` migration helpers collapsed into
`upgradeAndValidateInput`; `nodeOutputStore.*ByExecutionId` derived from
the locator index; `previewExposureStore` cleanup and cycle-detection
double-warn fix.
- **Misc** — `Outcome` types consolidated; mutable accumulators replaced
with `flatMap`; new ESLint rule forbids litegraph imports under
`src/world/`.

### Tests

- Browser tests for promoted widgets retagged `@vue-nodes` and rewritten
to assert against the rendered Vue node DOM (via `getNodeLocator` /
`getByRole('textbox')` / `enterSubgraph`) instead of `page.evaluate`
graph introspection.
- Per-host widget independence asserted via DOM.
- Migration coverage moved to black-box round-trip tests.
- Added coverage for duplicate-named promoted widget identity (ADR 0009)
and the per-parent demote branch in `WidgetActions`.

## Review focus

- ADR 0009 conformance of the link-only promotion model.
- Disambiguator resolution path in `proxyWidgetMigration`.
- Single-version-counter promoted-view cache and its
`invalidatePromotedViews()` call sites.
- `LGraph.trigger()` event dispatch and the `AppModeWidgetList.vue`
migration off `onTrigger` (FE-667 tracks the remaining
`useGraphNodeManager` conversion).

## Breaking changes

None for users. Internal subgraph promotion APIs changed — see ADR 0009.

b3ba6c9344 fix: select node after adding from library (#12404)
## Summary

When adding a node from the library sidebar, the node was not correctly
selected upon placing it. This was due to the canvas capturing the node
under the cursor on mouse down, however the node had not yet been
comitted to the graph at that point, and so selection was then cleared
on mouse up.

## Changes

- **What**:
- add `blockCommitPointerDown` so if the cursor is over the canvas stop
propagation to prevent LiteGraph adding the mouse handler to clear the
selection

## Review Focus

Alternative approaches considered were blocking the event in endDrag
however this then required manual cleanup of LiteGraph handlers or
overriding the `pointer.onClick` function to force selection of our
node, both felt worse than this approach.

2717d59451 Fix reactivity of vue subgraph price badges (#12029)
When a subgraph contains partner nodes with price badges, those badges
are also displayed on the subgraphNode. The reactivity here was spotty:
The price badges would fail to display unless the user had navigated
into the subgraph on the current page load. Fixing this is performed in
2 steps:
- Firing a `node:property:changed` event when the badges contained in a
subgraph are updated
- Extending the reactivity updates so that badges update in vue mode
despite using the litegraph badge getter.

This PR also includes a minor styling tweak to fix text alignment on
price badges

e765eb1bb2 fix: suppress missing media scan during uploads (#12111)
## Summary
- Prevent missing media detection from scanning media loader nodes while
a drag/drop, paste, or file-select upload is still in progress.
- Align LoadAudio with the existing media upload lifecycle by setting
`node.isUploading`, blocking concurrent uploads, and clearing the flag
after upload completion.
- Keep added-node model and missing-node scans on the original
one-microtask path, while deferring added-node media scanning by one
extra microtask so upload handlers can mark transient upload state
before the scan reads widget values.

## Why
Drag/drop and paste can create media loader nodes before the backing
upload has settled. During that short window, the widget may contain a
local filename that is not yet backend-resolvable, so missing media
detection can surface a false missing asset. Refreshing works because
the upload has completed by then.

## Follow-up
- E2E coverage for this upload race will be handled in a follow-up PR
together with E2E coverage for the annotated output-media path changes
from #12069.

## Validation
- `pnpm format`
- `pnpm lint`
- `pnpm typecheck`
- `pnpm vitest run src/composables/graph/useErrorClearingHooks.test.ts
src/platform/missingMedia/missingMediaScan.test.ts
src/extensions/core/uploadAudio.test.ts
src/composables/node/useNodeImageUpload.test.ts`
- Re-ran `pnpm typecheck` after rebasing onto latest `main`
- Pre-push `knip` hook passed

Fixes FE-620

1c541d8577 Short circuit asset reuploads, simplify node dnd (#11691)
When an output is dragged from the assets panel onto a node, outputs
were being reuploaded. This logic has been simplified to instead
reference the existing asset by resolving the annotated path.

As part of this change, async drop handlers on nodes are also fixed.
Rather than placing obligation of event handling on client code, not
respecting async handlers, or completely ignoring return types, the vue
drop handler will now simply set `app.dragOverNode` and allow the
`document` drop handler to resolve node drag/drop operations without any
of the difficulty from propagation.

8c1ea7ae64 test: add unit tests for useNodePricing edge cases (#11673)
## Summary

Extends `useNodePricing.test.ts` with three behavioral gaps the existing
suite did not cover: `getNodePricingConfig` does not leak the compiled
JSONata expression, `pricingRevision` ticks after async evaluation
resolves (with a cache-hit path that does not), and
`formatPricingResult` returns `''` for non-finite numeric inputs across
all four result types.

## Changes

- **What**: Adds 9 Vitest cases across two existing `describe` blocks
(`getNodePricingConfig`, `formatPricingResult`) and one new block
(`reactive revision`). Reuses the existing `priceBadge` and
`createMockNodeWithPriceBadge` helpers.

## Review Focus

- The cache-hit assertion checks that `pricingRevision.value` does not
advance after a second `getNodeDisplayPrice` call with the same
signature, exercising the WeakMap cache hit at `useNodePricing.ts:573`.
- Non-finite coverage spans `type:'usd'`, `type:'range_usd'`,
`type:'list_usd'` (empty + all-non-finite + mixed), and the legacy `{
usd }` shape, matching the four `asFiniteNumber` call sites in
`formatPricingResult`.
- The strip-`_compiled` assertion uses `toHaveProperty` so the test
fails loudly if a future refactor accidentally re-exposes the runtime
JSONata instance to debug consumers.

## Testing

\`\`\`bash
pnpm exec vitest run src/composables/node/useNodePricing.test.ts
pnpm format -- src/composables/node/useNodePricing.test.ts
pnpm lint
pnpm typecheck
pnpm knip
\`\`\`

91 tests pass (82 prior + 9 new).

b232831441 fix: stop duplicate node creation when dropping image on Vue nodes (#11541)
## Summary
handleDrop checked `handled === true` to gate stopPropagation, but
onDragDrop from useNodeDragAndDrop is async and always returns a
Promise, so the check never matched. The drop then bubbled to the
document handler in app.ts and spawned a new LoadImage node in addition
to the one that accepted the drop.

Updated onDragDrop to take an optional claimEvent flag — when true, it
calls preventDefault()/stopPropagation() synchronously inside the
handler, only after the sync acceptance check passes (valid files /
same-origin URI), and before any await.
The Vue node now just calls await node.onDragDrop(event, true).
Rejected payloads (cross-origin URI, files filtered out, no valid files)
skip the claim and bubble to the document fallback as before. The
remaining edge case is async URI fetch failures, which we can't
sync-detect without speculatively claiming.

71ca582325 fix: reset file input value after selection to allow same-file reupload (#11417)
*PR Created by the Glary-Bot Agent*

---

## Summary

Fixes the "choose video to upload" button becoming unresponsive after
running a workflow with a subgraph a few times.

**Root cause**: The detached input element in `useNodeFileInput` never
resets its `value`. The browser's `onchange` only fires when the value
*changes* — re-selecting the same file silently drops the event. A page
refresh recreates the input with an empty value, which is why refreshing
fixes it.

## Changes

- `useNodeFileInput.ts`: Reset `fileInput.value` before invoking
callbacks so value is cleared even if a callback throws
- `useNodeDragAndDrop.ts`: Add `onRemoved` cleanup for installed
handlers (only clears own handlers; preserves replacements from
extensions)
- `useNodePaste.ts`: Add `onRemoved` cleanup for installed `pasteFiles`
handler (same reference-safe pattern)
- 3 new colocated test files with 26 test cases covering all branches

## Codebase Audit

Audited all 11 file upload implementations across the codebase. Found 5
using the ghost/virtual input pattern — 3 with the same missing
value-reset bug:
- `useNodeFileInput.ts` — fixed in this PR
- `scripts/utils.ts` (`uploadFile()`) — one-shot pattern, lower risk
- `extensions/core/load3d.ts` — partial reset only

The 4 Vue component implementations already reset correctly.

## Future Work

VueUse `useFileDialog` composable handles same-file reselection via
`reset: true` and provides automatic lifecycle cleanup. A follow-up PR
could migrate the ghost input patterns for a centralized solution.

## Test Plan

- 26 unit tests across 3 new test files (all pass)
- 9 existing useNodeImageUpload tests still pass
- Pre-commit hooks pass (oxfmt, oxlint, eslint, typecheck)
- Oracle code review addressed

2189172f15 fix: Add timeout and abort mechanism for image upload (#9226) (#9491)
Closes #9226

## Summary

Image uploads had no timeout or abort mechanism, meaning a stalled
upload could hang indefinitely with no user feedback. This adds a
2-minute timeout using `AbortController` and shows a user-friendly toast
message when the upload times out.

## Changes

- `src/composables/node/useNodeImageUpload.ts`: Added `AbortController`
with a 120-second timeout to the `uploadFile` function. The abort signal
is passed to `fetchApi`. In the `handleUpload` error handler,
`AbortError` is now caught separately to display a localized timeout
message.
- `src/locales/en/main.json`: Added `uploadTimedOut` i18n translation
key.

661e3d7949 test: migrate as unknown as to @total-typescript/shoehorn (#10761)
*PR Created by the Glary-Bot Agent*

---

## Summary

- Replace all `as unknown as Type` assertions in 59 unit test files with
type-safe `@total-typescript/shoehorn` functions
- Use `fromPartial<Type>()` for partial mock objects where deep-partial
type-checks (21 files)
- Use `fromAny<Type>()` for fundamentally incompatible types: null,
undefined, primitives, variables, class expressions, and mocks with
test-specific extra properties that `PartialDeepObject` rejects
(remaining files)
- All explicit type parameters preserved so TypeScript return types are
correct
- Browser test `.spec.ts` files excluded (shoehorn unavailable in
`page.evaluate` browser context)

## Verification

- `pnpm typecheck`
- `pnpm lint`
- `pnpm format`
- Pre-commit hooks passed (format + oxlint + eslint + typecheck)
- Migrated test files verified passing (ran representative subset)
- No test behavior changes — only type assertion syntax changed
- No UI changes — screenshots not applicable

4eded7c82b App Mode dragAndDrop, text output, and scroll shadows (#10122)
- When in app mode, workflows can be loaded by dragging and dropping as
elsewhere.
- Dragging a file which is supported by a selected app input to the
center panel will apply drop effects on the specific input
  - This overrides the loading of workflows
- There's not currently an indicator for where the image will go. This
is being considered for a followup PR
- Outputs can be dragged from the assets panel onto nodes
  - This fixes behaviour outside of app mode as well
  - Has some thorny implementation specifics
- Non-core nodes may not be able to accept these inputs without an
update
- Node DragOver filtering has reduced functionality when dragging from
the assets pane. Nodes may have the blue border without being able to
accept a drag operation.
- When dropped onto the canvas, the workflow will load (a fix), but the
workflow name will be the url of the image preview
  - The entire card is used for the drag preview
<img width="329" height="380" alt="image"
src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/2945f9a3-3e77-4e14-a812-4a361976390d"
/>
- Adds a new scroll-shadows tailwind util as an indicator that more
content is available by scrolling.
- Since a primary goal was preventing API costs overflowing, I've made
the indicator fairly strong. This can be tuned later if needed

![scroll-shadow_00001](https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/e683d329-4283-4d06-aa29-5eee48030f27)
- Initial support for text outputs in App Mode
- Also causes jobs with text outputs to incorrectly display in the
assets panel with a generic 'check' icon instead of a text specific
icon. This will need a dedicated pass, but shouldn't be overly onerous
in the interim.
<img width="1209" height="735" alt="text output"
src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/fcd1cf9f-5d5c-434c-acd0-58d248237b99"

NOTE: Displaying text outputs conflicted with the changes in #9622. I'll
leave text output still disabled in this PR and open a new PR for
reconciling text as an output so it can go through dedicated review.

f9b0f277bf fix: track nodePreviewImages in usePromotedPreviews (#10165)
## Summary

The `computed` in `usePromotedPreviews` only tracked `nodeOutputs` as a
reactive dependency. GLSL live previews (and other preview-only sources)
write to `nodePreviewImages` instead of `nodeOutputs`, so promoted
preview widgets on SubgraphNodes never re-evaluated when live previews
updated.

## Changes

**Production** (`usePromotedPreviews.ts` — 3-line fix):
- Add `nodePreviewImages[locatorId]` as a second reactive dependency
alongside `nodeOutputs[locatorId]`
- Guard now passes when *either* source has data, not just `nodeOutputs`

**Tests** (`usePromotedPreviews.test.ts`):
- Add `nodePreviewImages` to mock store type and factory
- Add `seedPreviewImages()` helper
- Add `getNodeImageUrls.mockReset()` in `beforeEach` for proper test
isolation
- Two new test cases:
- `returns preview when only nodePreviewImages exist (e.g. GLSL live
preview)`
- `recomputes when preview images are populated after first evaluation`
- Clean up existing tests to use hoisted `getNodeImageUrls` mock
directly instead of `vi.mocked(useNodeOutputStore().getNodeImageUrls)`

## What this supersedes

This is a minimal re-implementation of #9461. That PR also modified
`promotionStore.ts` with a `_version`/`_touch()` monotonic counter to
manually force reactivity — that approach is dropped here as it is an
anti-pattern (manually managing reactivity counters instead of using
Vue's built-in reactivity system). The promotionStore changes were not
needed for this fix.

## Related

- Supersedes #9461
- Prerequisite work: #9198 (add GLSLShader to canvas image preview node
types)

0c44129bb4 fix: prevent animated preview duplication on Vue↔Litegraph switch (#9938)
## Problem
SaveAnimatedPNG/WEBP nodes show duplicate output previews when switching
between Vue and Litegraph renderer modes.

## Root Cause
The `ANIM_PREVIEW_WIDGET` (`$$comfy_animation_preview`) DOM widget
lacked `canvasOnly: true`, so `shouldRenderAsVue()` in the widget
registry included it in Vue mode rendering. This caused both:
1. Vue's `ImagePreview.vue` (via `nodeMedia` computed from
`nodeOutputStore`)
2. The legacy `ANIM_PREVIEW_WIDGET` DOM widget (rendered as `WidgetDOM`)

to display simultaneously — duplicating the output preview.

## Fix
Add `canvasOnly: true` to the `ANIM_PREVIEW_WIDGET` options, matching
the pattern used by `IMAGE_PREVIEW` widget in
`useImagePreviewWidget.ts`. This ensures the legacy widget is filtered
out in Vue mode by `shouldRenderAsVue()`, leaving `ImagePreview.vue` as
the single source of truth.

## Testing
- All 539 vueNodes tests pass
- All 22 nodeOutputStore tests pass
- All 140 composables/node tests pass
- Typecheck passes

e7588c33e1 refactor: rename imagePreviewStore to nodeOutputStore (#9416)
## Summary

Rename `imagePreviewStore.ts` → `nodeOutputStore.ts` to match the store
it houses (`useNodeOutputStore`, Pinia ID `nodeOutput`).

## Changes

- **What**: Rename file + test file, update all 21 import paths, mock
paths, and describe labels
- **Breaking**: None — exported symbol (`useNodeOutputStore`) and Pinia
store ID (`nodeOutput`) are unchanged

## Custom Node Ecosystem Audit

Searched the ComfyUI custom node ecosystem for `imagePreviewStore` and
`useNodeOutputStore`:
- **Not part of the public API** — neither filename nor export appear in
`comfyui_frontend_package` or `vite.types.config.mts`
- **1 external repo found:** `wallen0322/ComfyUI-AE-Animation` —
contains a full fork of the frontend source tree; it copies the file
internally and does not import from the published package. **No
breakage.**
- **No custom nodes import this store via the extension API.** This is a
safe internal-only rename.

## Review Focus

Pure mechanical rename — no logic changes. Verify no stale
`imagePreviewStore` references remain.

3f497081ee feat: Node Library sidebar and V2 Search dialog UI/UX updates (#9085)
## Summary

Implement 11 Figma design discrepancies for the Node Library sidebar and
V2 Node Search dialog, aligning the UI with the [Toolbox Figma
design](https://www.figma.com/design/xMFxCziXJe6Denz4dpDGTq/Toolbox?node-id=2074-21394&m=dev).

## Changes

- **What**: Sidebar: reorder tabs (All/Essentials/Blueprints), rename
Custom→Blueprints, uppercase section headers, chevron-left of folder
icon, bookmark-on-hover for node rows, filter dropdown with checkbox
items, sort labels (Categorized/A-Z) with label-left/check-right layout,
hide section headers in A-Z mode. Search dialog: expand filter chips
from 3→6, add Recents and source categories to sidebar, remove "Filter
by" label. Pull foundation V2 components from merged PR #8548.
- **Dependencies**: Depends on #8987 (V2 Node Search) and #8548
(NodeLibrarySidebarTabV2)

## Review Focus

- Filter dropdown (`filterOptions`) is UI-scaffolded but not yet wired
to filtering logic (pending V2 integration)
- "Recents" category currently returns frequency-based results as
placeholder until a usage-tracking store is implemented
- Pre-existing type errors from V2 PR dependencies not in the base
commit (SearchBoxV2, usePerTabState, TextTicker, getProviderIcon,
getLinkTypeColor, SidebarContainerKey) are expected and will resolve
when rebased onto main after parent PRs land

aef299caf8 fix: add GLSLShader to canvas image preview node types (#9198)
## Summary

Add `GLSLShader` to `CANVAS_IMAGE_PREVIEW_NODE_TYPES` so GLSL shader
previews are promoted through subgraph nodes.

## Changes

- Add `'GLSLShader'` to the `CANVAS_IMAGE_PREVIEW_NODE_TYPES` set in
`src/composables/node/useNodeCanvasImagePreview.ts`

## Context

GLSLShader node previews were not showing on parent subgraph nodes
because `CANVAS_IMAGE_PREVIEW_NODE_TYPES` only included `PreviewImage`
and `SaveImage`. The `$$canvas-image-preview` pseudo-widget was never
created for GLSLShader nodes, so the promotion system had nothing to
promote. This degraded the UX of all 12 shipped GLSL blueprint subgraphs
— users couldn't see shader output previews without expanding the
subgraph.

c24c4ab607 feat: show loading spinner and uploading filename during image upload (#9189)
## Summary
- Show a canvas-based loading spinner on image upload nodes (LoadImage)
during file upload via drag-drop, paste, or file picker
- Display the uploading file's name immediately in the filename dropdown
instead of showing the previous file's name
- Show the uploading audio file's name immediately in the audio widget
during upload

## Changes
- **`useNodeImageUpload.ts`**: Add `isUploading` flag and
`onUploadStart` callback to the upload lifecycle; clear `node.imgs`
during upload to prevent stale previews
- **`useImagePreviewWidget.ts`**: Add `renderUploadSpinner` that draws
an animated arc spinner on the canvas when `node.isUploading` is true;
guard against empty `imgs` array
- **`useImageUploadWidget.ts`**: Set `fileComboWidget.value` to the new
filename on upload start; clear `node.imgs` on combo widget change
- **`uploadAudio.ts`**: Set `audioWidget.value` to the new filename on
upload start
- **`litegraph-augmentation.d.ts`**: Add `isUploading` property to
`LGraphNode`

https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/818ce529-cb83-428a-8c98-dd900a128343

## Test plan
- [x] Upload an image via file picker on LoadImage node — spinner shows
during upload, filename updates immediately
- [x] Drag-and-drop an image onto LoadImage node — same behavior
- [x] Paste an image onto LoadImage node — same behavior
- [x] Change the dropdown selection on LoadImage — old preview clears,
new image loads
- [x] Upload an audio file — filename updates immediately in the widget

c25f9a0e93 feat: synthetic widgets getter for SubgraphNode (proxy-widget-v2) (#8856)
## Summary

Replace the Proxy-based proxy widget system with a store-driven
architecture where `promotionStore` and `widgetValueStore` are the
single sources of truth for subgraph widget promotion and widget values,
and `SubgraphNode.widgets` is a synthetic getter composing lightweight
`PromotedWidgetView` objects from store state.

## Motivation

The subgraph widget promotion system previously scattered state across
multiple unsynchronized layers:

- **Persistence**: `node.properties.proxyWidgets` (tuples on the
LiteGraph node)
- **Runtime**: Proxy-based `proxyWidget.ts` with `Overlay` objects,
`DisconnectedWidget` singleton, and `isProxyWidget` type guards
- **UI**: Each Vue component independently calling `parseProxyWidgets()`
via `customRef` hacks
- **Mutation flags**: Imperative `widget.promoted = true/false` set on
`subgraph-opened` events

This led to 4+ independent parsings of the same data, complex cache
invalidation, and no reactive contract between the promotion state and
the rendering layer. Widget values were similarly owned by LiteGraph
with no Vue-reactive backing.

The core principle driving these changes: **Vue owns truth**. Pinia
stores are the canonical source; LiteGraph objects delegate to stores
via getters/setters; Vue components react to store state directly.

## Changes

### New stores (single sources of truth)

- **`promotionStore`** — Reactive `Map<NodeId, PromotionEntry[]>`
tracking which interior widgets are promoted on which SubgraphNode
instances. Graph-scoped by root graph ID to prevent cross-workflow state
collision. Replaces `properties.proxyWidgets` parsing, `customRef`
hacks, `widget.promoted` mutation, and the `subgraph-opened` event
listener.
- **`widgetValueStore`** — Graph-scoped `Map<WidgetKey, WidgetState>`
that is the canonical owner of widget values. `BaseWidget.value`
delegates to this store via getter/setter when a node ID is assigned.
Eliminates the need for Proxy-based value forwarding.

### Synthetic widgets getter (SubgraphNode)

`SubgraphNode.widgets` is now a getter that reads
`promotionStore.getPromotions(rootGraphId, nodeId)` and returns cached
`PromotedWidgetView` objects. No stubs, no Proxies, no fake widgets
persisted in the array. The setter is a no-op — mutations go through
`promotionStore`.

### PromotedWidgetView

A class behind a `createPromotedWidgetView` factory, implementing the
`PromotedWidgetView` interface. Delegates value/type/options/drawing to
the resolved interior widget and stores. Owns positional state (`y`,
`computedHeight`) for canvas layout. Cached by
`PromotedWidgetViewManager` for object-identity stability across frames.

### DOM widget promotion

Promoted DOM widgets (textarea, image upload, etc.) render on the
SubgraphNode surface via `positionOverride` in `domWidgetStore`.
`DomWidgets.vue` checks for overrides and uses the SubgraphNode's
coordinates instead of the interior node's.

### Promoted previews

New `usePromotedPreviews` composable resolves image/audio/video preview
widgets from promoted entries, enabling SubgraphNodes to display
previews of interior preview nodes.

### Deleted

- `proxyWidget.ts` (257 lines) — Proxy handler, `Overlay`,
`newProxyWidget`, `isProxyWidget`
- `DisconnectedWidget.ts` (39 lines) — Singleton Proxy target
- `useValueTransform.ts` (32 lines) — Replaced by store delegation

### Key architectural changes

- `BaseWidget.value` getter/setter delegates to `widgetValueStore` when
node ID is set
- `LGraph.add()` reordered: `node.graph` assigned before widget
`setNodeId` (enables store registration)
- `LGraph.clear()` cleans up graph-scoped stores to prevent stale
entries across workflow switches
- `promotionStore` and `widgetValueStore` state nested under root graph
UUID for multi-workflow isolation
- `SubgraphNode.serialize()` writes promotions back to
`properties.proxyWidgets` for persistence compatibility
- Legacy `-1` promotion entries resolved and migrated on first load with
dev warning

## Test coverage

- **3,700+ lines of new/updated tests** across 36 test files
- **Unit**: `promotionStore.test.ts`, `widgetValueStore.test.ts`,
`promotedWidgetView.test.ts` (921 lines),
`subgraphNodePromotion.test.ts`, `proxyWidgetUtils.test.ts`,
`DomWidgets.test.ts`, `PromotedWidgetViewManager.test.ts`,
`usePromotedPreviews.test.ts`, `resolvePromotedWidget.test.ts`,
`subgraphPseudoWidgetCache.test.ts`
- **E2E**: `subgraphPromotion.spec.ts` (622 lines) — promote/demote,
manual/auto promotion, paste preservation, seed control augmentation,
image preview promotion; `imagePreview.spec.ts` extended with
multi-promoted-preview coverage
- **Fixtures**: 2 new subgraph workflow fixtures for preview promotion
scenarios

## Review focus

- Graph-scoped store keying (`rootGraphId`) — verify isolation across
workflows/tabs and cleanup on `LGraph.clear()`
- `PromotedWidgetView` positional stability — `_arrangeWidgets` writes
to `y`/`computedHeight` on cached objects; getter returns fresh array
but stable object references
- DOM widget position override lifecycle — overrides set on promote,
cleared on demote/removal/subgraph navigation
- Legacy `-1` entry migration — resolved and written back on first load;
unresolvable entries dropped with dev warning
- Serialization round-trip — `promotionStore` state →
`properties.proxyWidgets` on serialize, hydrated back on configure

## Diff breakdown (excluding lockfile)

- 153 files changed, ~7,500 insertions, ~1,900 deletions (excluding
pnpm-lock.yaml churn)
- ~3,700 lines are tests
- ~300 lines deleted (proxyWidget.ts, DisconnectedWidget.ts,

02e926471f fix: replace as-unknown-as casts with safer patterns (#9107)
## Summary

- Replace 83 `as unknown as` double casts with safer alternatives across
33 files
- Use `as Partial<X> as X` pattern where TypeScript allows it
- Create/reuse factory functions from `litegraphTestUtils.ts` for mock
objects
- Widen `getWorkflowDataFromFile` return type to include `ComfyMetadata`
directly
- Reduce total `as unknown as` count from ~153 to 71

The remaining 71 occurrences are genuinely necessary due to cross-schema
casts, generic variance, missing index signatures, Float64Array-to-tuple
conversions, and DOM type incompatibilities.

## Test plan

- [x] `pnpm typecheck` passes
- [x] `pnpm lint` passes
- [x] All affected unit tests pass

14369c08a3 refactor: parallelize bootstrap and simplify lifecycle with VueUse (#8307)
## Summary

Refactors bootstrap and lifecycle management to parallelize
initialization, use Vue best practices, and fix a logout state bug.

## Changes

### Bootstrap Store (`bootstrapStore.ts`)
- Extract early bootstrap logic into a dedicated store using
`useAsyncState`
- Parallelize settings, i18n, and workflow sync loading (previously
sequential)
- Handle multi-user login scenarios by deferring settings/workflows
until authenticated

### GraphCanvas Refactoring
- Move non-DOM composables (`useGlobalLitegraph`, `useCopy`, `usePaste`,
etc.) to script setup level for earlier initialization
- Move `watch` and `whenever` declarations outside `onMounted` (Vue best
practice)
- Use `until()` from VueUse to await bootstrap store readiness instead
of direct async calls

### GraphView Simplification
- Replace manual `addEventListener`/`removeEventListener` with
`useEventListener`
- Replace `setInterval` with `useIntervalFn` for automatic cleanup
- Move core command registration to script setup level

### Bug Fix
Using `router.push()` for logout caused `isSettingsReady` to persist as
`true`, making new users inherit the previous user's cached settings.
Reverted to `window.location.reload()` with TODOs for future store reset
implementation.

## Testing

- Verified login/logout cycle clears settings correctly
- Verified bootstrap sequence completes without errors

b1d8bf0b13 refactor: eliminate unsafe type assertions from Group 2 test files (#8258)
## Summary
Improved type safety in test files by eliminating unsafe type assertions
and adopting official testing patterns. Reduced unsafe `as unknown as`
type assertions and eliminated all `null!` assertions.

## Changes
- **Adopted @pinia/testing patterns**
- Replaced manual Pinia store mocking with `createTestingPinia()` in
`useSelectionState.test.ts`
  - Eliminated ~120 lines of mock boilerplate
- Created `createMockSettingStore()` helper to replace duplicated store
mocks in `useCoreCommands.test.ts`

- **Eliminated unsafe null assertions**
- Created explicit `MockMaskEditorStore` interface with proper nullable
types in `useCanvasTools.test.ts`
- Replaced `null!` initializations with `null` and used `!` at point of
use or `?.` for optional chaining

- **Made partial mock intent explicit**
- Updated test utilities in `litegraphTestUtils.ts` to use explicit
`Partial<T>` typing
- Changed cast pattern from `as T` to `as Partial<T> as T` to show
incomplete mock intent
- Applied to `createMockLGraphNode()`, `createMockPositionable()`, and
`createMockLGraphGroup()`

- **Created centralized mock utilities** in
`src/utils/__tests__/litegraphTestUtils.ts`
- `createMockLGraphNode()`, `createMockPositionable()`,
`createMockLGraphGroup()`, `createMockSubgraphNode()`
  - Updated 8+ test files to use centralized utilities
- Used union types `Partial<T> | Record<string, unknown>` for flexible
mock creation

## Results
- 0 typecheck errors
- 0 lint errors
- All tests passing in modified files
- Eliminated all `null!` assertions
- Reduced unsafe double-cast patterns significantly

5c142275ad Move price badges to python nodes (#7816)
## Summary

Backend part: https://github.com/Comfy-Org/ComfyUI/pull/11582

- Move API node pricing definitions from hardcoded frontend functions to
backend-defined JSONata expressions
- Add `price_badge` field to node definition schema containing JSONata
expression and dependency declarations
- Implement async JSONata evaluation with signature-based caching for
efficient reactive updates
- Show one decimal in credit badges when meaningful (e.g., 1.5 credits
instead of 2 credits)
