Preview builds were using stagingapi.comfy.org (USE_PROD_CONFIG=false default), causing a constant cloud environment mismatch warning for every user who followed the quick-start guide — their local ComfyUI backend defaults to api.comfy.org (production). Setting USE_PROD_CONFIG=true aligns the preview with the default backend behavior so the mismatch warning only fires when the user deliberately passes --comfy-api-base=staging.
