Summary

With DynamicVRAM enabled, ComfyUI prints repeated Windows fatal access violations in comfy_aimdo.control.init_devices during startup on an RTX 5070 Ti.

The error still occurs with only GPU 0 selected using --cuda-device 0. Adding --disable-dynamic-vram removes the error completely.

A sanitized startup-log excerpt, environment details, dependency verification, the console traceback, and the workaround are attached.

Console traceback

The following traceback was printed repeatedly (8 times) during startup:

Windows fatal exception: access violation

Stack (most recent call first):
  File "D:\StabilityMatrix\Data\Packages\ComfyUI\venv\Lib\site-packages\comfy_aimdo\control.py", line 144 in init_devices
  File "D:\StabilityMatrix\Data\Packages\ComfyUI\main.py", line 256 in <module>

Workaround

Launching with the following argument removes the access violations completely:

--cuda-device 0 --disable-dynamic-vram
