This PR adds the
rms_ropeimplementation to the Triton backend.rope.py.rms_rope.pyfile since I wasn't entirely sure of the best location for it within the current directory structure.Testing:
test_rms_rope_cuda.txt
test_rms_rope_rocm.txt
test_rms_rope.FLUX-freqs_fp32-bf16-triton-rms_ropecase when the input isbf16and the weight isfp32. I decided to keep the current logic as it provides a good balance between speed and accuracy. - means no idea how to resolve.freqs=torch.bfloat16failed. However, this behavior is consistent with the currenttest_roperesults, so it's not a new regression.Resolves:

Overall generation speed remains similar or shows a slight improvement.
Benchmark Logs - R9700 Power limit 260
Edit: Because
freqs_batchis changed to runtime scalar, I redo the generation test on Anima.🔄 This issue represents a GitHub Pull Request. It cannot be merged through Gitea due to API limitations.
