📄 Description

Requested by James Kwon · Slack thread

Before

comfy-build lived here, under comfy-cli/comfy-build/SKILL.md, and was fetched over the network by comfy skills install --skill comfy-build at install time — the only skill installed that way. That meant comfy skills show didn't work for it (unlike every other comfy-cli skill), and its content could drift out of sync with whatever CLI version a user actually had installed.

After

comfy-build ships bundled inside comfy-cli itself (comfy_cli/skills/comfy-build/), versioned with each CLI release, and is discoverable/usable through the CLI's normal skills commands (list, show, install, etc.) like any other skill.

How

  • Removed comfy-cli/comfy-build/SKILL.md (and the now-empty comfy-cli/ directory).
  • Removed .github/workflows/validate-skills.yml, which existed solely to run comfy skills validate over the directories under comfy-cli/ — with comfy-build gone, that directory is empty and the workflow has nothing left to check.
  • Updated the README's repo-layout section to drop the comfy-cli/ bullet and point readers at comfy-cli's own comfy_cli/skills/ for its bundled skills going forward.
