The issue you're experiencing with the workflow not saving changes might be related to how ComfyUI handles the saving and loading of workflows. Unfortunately, I couldn't find specific details on the implementation of this feature in the codebase or any known issues related to it. However, here are a few general troubleshooting steps you can consider:
Check File Permissions: Ensure that the application has the necessary permissions to write changes to the file system. This can sometimes prevent changes from being saved.
Verify Workflow File Path: Make sure that the workflow is being saved to the correct location and that there are no issues with the file path.
Inspect the Workflow File: Open the saved workflow file (e.g.,
test.json) in a text editor to verify if the changes are being written to the file. This can help determine if the issue is with the saving process or the loading process.Review Logs for Errors: Check the debug logs for any errors or warnings that might indicate why the changes are not being saved. Look for any file access errors or exceptions that might be related to the saving process.
Test with a New Workflow: Try creating a new workflow from scratch, save it, make changes, and save again to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is specific to the workflow in question.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, it might be helpful to gather more information, such as browser logs or settings JSON, as mentioned in the original report. This additional information could provide more insights into the problem.

This user came to me again today. It might be a problem with the custom nodes. I'll close this issue after he locates the specific custom node.
