Once I18n has been configured, we must translate all the hard-coded messaging throughout the desktop app, including:

Dialogues
Notifications
Toasts
Anywhere we're using the message prop of an error to drop into UI message that is delivered to the user
- Preference would be to remove this pattern entirely, but pragmatism
