@dosubot[bot] commented on GitHub (Nov 22, 2025):
This is a known bug in the latest ComfyUI desktop version: after using "Ctrl + -" to reduce the UI size, "Ctrl + =" does not enlarge the UI. The portable version is not affected. Workarounds are to use "Ctrl + Shift + =" to enlarge the UI and "Ctrl + 0" to reset scaling. Disabling custom nodes does not resolve the issue, confirming it's a desktop build problem, not a custom node conflict. Maintainers have acknowledged the bug, and a permanent fix is not yet available. The desktop app relies on Chromium's default zoom handling, so this behavior likely comes from the frontend bundle or how it's hosted in the desktop app, not from Electron-specific code. For now, use the workarounds mentioned above until an update addresses the issue (docs, issue #1094, issue #1160).
