Months later, why haven't the FP8 issues on Mac M been addressed? It's so ridiculous that the MAC desktop doesn't work on a Mac for many common models

I dont know, however Mac does not support fp8 for now, what they could do however is upcast the models to fp16 and at least let them run.
Or implement MLX which has nvfp4 and mx fp8 🤷‍♂️

Besides that MLX runs on Nvidia too so maybe on day…
