Hi @LuCa-0! I'm Dosu and I’m helping the desktop team.
The installer hangs at "Setting up Python Environment" because the app can't handle interactive PowerShell prompts—like the "run software from an untrusted publisher" confirmation—since its subprocess doesn't connect to your keyboard, so you can't respond and the install can't continue (details). This is a known limitation and usually happens due to PowerShell execution policy restrictions or dependency conflicts.
To work around this:
-yor--yesto avoid interactive prompts (reference)..venvfolder and restart the app to force recreation. If the problem persists, check for logs in
%APPDATA%\ComfyUI\Logs\main.logafter enabling verbose logging by setting theLOG_LEVELenvironment variable toverbose(reference). This can help pinpoint what's blocking the install. To reply, just mention @dosu.
Share context across your team and agents. Try Dosu.
