This crash isn't a known issue with the ComfyUI installer itself—the installer doesn't bundle System.dll or .NET libraries, and manages dependencies through a Python virtual environment, not system .NET components. Crashes referencing System.dll in the Temp directory usually point to a system or runtime problem, such as corrupted files, antivirus interference, permission issues, or incomplete dependency setup source. Try these steps: uninstall ComfyUI, delete all related AppData directories (%APPDATA%\ComfyUI, %LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\ComfyUI, and any updater folders), install to a new empty folder, run the installer as administrator, and temporarily disable antivirus software. Make sure the Visual C++ Redistributable is installed source. If the crash persists, enable verbose logging by setting LOG_LEVEL=verbose in your environment variables and check %APPDATA%\ComfyUI\Logs\main.log for more details source.
