Problem Statement
ComfyUI Desktop currently lacks Chinese (Simplified) localization support. All UI text is in English, which creates significant barriers for Chinese users:
Proposed Solution
Add complete Chinese (Simplified) localization support. Below are all UI texts that need translation with suggested accurate translations:
1. System Tray Menu (src/main-process/appWindow.ts)
2. Dialog Titles and Messages
3. Migration Interface (src/constants.ts - MigrationItems)
4. About Dialog (src/main-process/appWindow.ts)
5. Download Manager (src/models/DownloadManager.ts)
6. Installation Stage Texts (src/constants.ts - InstallStage)
These texts appear during installation and need translation:
Potential workflow
locales/zh-CN.jsontranslation fileImpact Level
High (Major improvement) - This will significantly improve the experience for Chinese users and lower the usage barrier.
Alternatives Considered
Additional information
I am a Chinese user and willing to assist with testing and verification.
