@webfiltered commented on GitHub (Nov 27, 2024):
If you run this, does NVIDIA appear in any of the output? If so, which column?
p.s. The lines will be very long and wrapped - I find it easiest to run wmic from Windows Terminal and copy/paste into an editor like vscode, with wrap off. Can then side scroll through the results with the column headers lined up properly.
@DraginEye commented on GitHub (Nov 27, 2024):
i tried running it in both cmd and powershell both as administrator and it is not a recognized command
@webfiltered commented on GitHub (Nov 27, 2024):
Try this:
If it returns
-1, you don't have wbem in your %PATH%.wmic.exeis located inC:\Windows\System32\Wbem, which you'll need to add to your environment variables. This is not a ComfyUI thing; it's just how Windows is configured by default.@DraginEye commented on GitHub (Nov 27, 2024):
after adding to path it still shows as -1 even after restart, but i was able to get wmic to run regardless and it shows nvidia in the first column as far as i can tell

We also default to using nvidia-smi to check if you have those drivers installed. Can improve this discovery process, and perhaps only display a non-blocking warning would be good as well.
