Hello,
Thank you for making this extension — being able to drop emojis into messages is really lovely for creative writing, and I'd love to keep using it.
I think I've run into a small bug, and I wanted to share it in case it's helpful.
When the Emoji Picker is enabled, pressing the Space key inside the chat input box seems to interrupt my typing. The input box loses focus and I have to click back into it before I can continue, so a sentence gets cut off every time I hit Space. As soon as I disable the extension, everything works perfectly again, so I'm fairly sure it's related to this one.
In case it helps, here's how to reproduce it:
One extra detail that might be a useful clue: I also type in Traditional Chinese using a Zhuyin (Bopomofo) IME, where the first tone is confirmed with the Space key. With this extension on, almost every Chinese sentence breaks too — which makes sense if the problem is really about the Space key being intercepted.
I'm not a developer, so I might be wrong, but I wondered if there might be a key listener on the Space key that doesn't check whether the input box is focused (or whether an IME is mid-composition, event.isComposing)? Just a guess.
Environment, in case it's useful:
Thank you again for your work on this, and no rush at all — I appreciate it.
