Adds Simulation Blackboard to the extension catalog and regenerates
index.json. The entry declarestool: truefor its function tools.Simulation Blackboard maintains a separate persistent world-state board for roleplay, with preparation instructions intended to preserve established facts, inventories, elapsed time and NPC activity. It offers Low/Mid/High/Ultra fidelity, Universal and D&D 5e profiles, optional private detection/repair/verification, checkpoint recovery, history rollback, a board inspector, and independently controlled scene backgrounds.
The expansion focuses on completely eliminating the "quantum ogre" effect and sycophancy. Instead of merely recording events that have already occurred—as existing expansions do—it records objective reality from a "god's-eye view" based on the player's movement along a vector of significance toward specific elements (such as locations, potential quests, NPC psychology, or city events that could impact the plot). This means the game world’s reality tends to be fully defined before the player interacts with it in any way; the closer the player gets to a given element in terms of narrative significance, the more detailed and concrete that element becomes. A simple example: even if a location is physically far from the player—and they clearly cannot reach it within the next few turns—any elements crucial to a quest the player is about to undertake will be clearly defined. At the same time, there is no need to specify elements within those locations that are unrelated to the quest (such as a random chest containing items or the exact dimensions of the rooms).
The extension is a browser UI extension with no required server plugin or SillyTavern core modifications. The public repository is licensed under AGPL-3.0 and includes installation instructions, a usage example, feature descriptions, requirements, recovery guidance and limitations. Release v1.12.1 includes an installable ZIP and SHA-256 checksum.
Validation:
Simulation requires a Chat Completion model/configuration with function calling. Private Turns require a supported secure browser context and single-character chats, make additional model requests, and do not stream. Dice use the optional D&D Dice function tool; backgrounds require a configured Image Generation backend. These requirements are documented in the README. Reviews use the configured model and do not guarantee semantic correctness.
