OS - Win 11 Pro 25H2 26200.7840
App version - 4.8.12.9 (Jan 27 2026, f7379284)
Protocol - AmneziaWG Legacy and AmneziaWG (version 2)
Default settings it set up
AmneziaDNS with and without
KillSwitch with and without
Selfhosted version:
Server OS - Ubuntu 24.04

To reproduce:

Split tunneling > App based tunneling > Add app's executable
Connect to server
Launch app form tunneling list
No internet connection for several apps from that list

Found apps that breaks connections:
Collapse Launcher 1.83.14 Stable (https://github.com/CollapseLauncher/Collapse) when selecting game region (any)
Arknights Endfield - Launching game > log in > press anywhere to launch game > it tries to connect, refreshes login background and breaks whole UI without connection and without error.

Connection establishes as soon as i disable VPN connection.

Issue started as soon as i installed version 4.8.12.9
Checked versions:
4.8.12.9 - issue persists
4.8.12.8 - issue persists
4.8.11.4 - no issue

Removing app from split tunneling allows it to connect

Attached logs consisted of connecting to VPN server, launching CollapseLauncher that was already added to tunneling app list, it returning connection error, disconnecting from VPN server

I get the same behavior. I noticed that it is because of Kill Switch. When I turn Kill Switch off the tunneling works as intended.

May be caused by anti-cheat software which runs as another process and don't happy that your IP for it and for game differs or it just detects some kernel level shenanigans, unfortunately.
I didn't found a way to use Apex Legends with split-tunneling.

I confirm the issue. Updated to the latest version. Some apps in split tunneling have no internet. Also weird thing: Telegram has no internet but I receive all push notifications.

Reverted back to 4.8.11.4 - everything works fine.
