The app has some very poor UI/UX design choices

Adding apps to split tunneling

  • The implementation is poorly designed. It takes too many taps and involves too many unnecessary screens to reach the app selection screen. The screen itself is very poorly designed. On a large tablet screen, the app names are on the left, and the icons are very small and get pushed to the right. The screen itself simply closes when switching to another app, losing any unsaved changes — this is a very poor design choice. The vertical padding of list items on the add and added apps screens is too large. The add screen and the added apps screen should be combined into one with automatic saving when toggling the checkboxes of list items. The added apps (with icons) appear at the top of the list. In addition, it is very useful to specify the application ID.

As an example of a successful and user-friendly solution, consider the PORTAL WG app. You can access the app addition screen for separate tunneling directly from the main screen via a button. However, explicitly saving selected apps with a “Save” button is unnecessary; it would be better to remove it entirely. It is sufficient to save changes immediately upon toggling the checkboxes of list items.

the most annoying thing: when user trying to add apps to split tunneling the list shows apps which already added
