after an update to the latest windows version of the app, i couldn't connect my devices to the vpn through the windows hotspot, which was usually possible

turn on windows hotspot
turn on the vpn
connect to the hotspot (tried with 2 different devices)

Expected behavior
successful connection

Desktop (please complete the following information):

OS: win11
Version 25H2

Additional context
when setting the vpn tunnel up for connection, it was always a different tunnel, as in tun 9, tun 10, tun 11 etc.
while usually, the tunnel is always the exact same one
when i reverted back to the previous version, the problem solved itself
