i got this error :

qt.qpa.xcb: could not connect to display
qt.qpa.plugin: Could not load the Qt platform plugin "xcb" in "" even
though it was found.
This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be
initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

Available platform plugins are: minimal, xcb.

Aborted (core dumped)

You need to install xcb plugin
apt install libxcb-cursor0 libxcb-xinerama0

HI guys, I have the same problem - can't start client on Linux (Debian, RPI).
Tried both - stable & experimental, and all that was mentioned regarding Linux installation (plugin, executable flag)

Dont think it needs to run with root privileges, and its a GUI application, just double click in file manager

Unfortunately, i can't. Because i don't have a GUI, XDD https://tenor.com/ru/view/i-cant-feel-my-legs-i-cant-feel-it-i-cant-feel-anything-paralyzed-major-payne-gif-16453091

Ok, no jokes - it's pretty common case for the Linux users - distributive with no GUI. And I really don't think that there is a some noticeable difference between print ' ,/AmneziaVPN ' and just clicking in GUI.

Anyway - thank you for your response, in few days, i'll install GUI and will try to check installation

It's a GUI app and it needs GUI to run.

By the way, since you are a linux user you know that you should not run any application with sudo just because you can. it's like giving access to all the rooms and your safe in your home to the plumber.
