Describe the bug
The VPN connection is immediately and consistently dropped to "Disconnected" the moment the notification shade (status bar pull-down) is opened on Android — even with no interaction with any Quick Settings tiles. This happens whether or not AmneziaVPN is added as a Quick Settings tile. The connection notification disappears at the same time. This occurs every single time, 100% reproducible, and only while using the VLESS protocol (no other protocol works with my server configuration, so I could not cross-test).

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Connect to a VLESS server in AmneziaVPN
Confirm the VPN is connected (notification shows active connection)
Simply swipe down to open the Android notification shade (no tap on any tile or notification needed)
The VPN notification immediately changes to "Disconnected" and disappears

Expected behavior
The VPN connection should remain active and stable when opening the notification shade, with no interaction required to keep it connected.

Version: 4.8.18.0 (also reproduced on 4.8.19.0)

Additional context

Protocol used: VLESS (only protocol configured/working on my server)
Always-on VPN: disabled
"Block connections without VPN" (lockdown mode): tested both disabled and enabled, issue persists in both states
Tested both APK architecture (arm64-v8a, correct for this device) and app versions (4.8.18.0 and 4.8.19.0) — issue persists in both
Device reboot does NOT resolve the issue (issue reoccurs on next shade open)
I have a second, different VPN app installed on the same device that does NOT exhibit this behavior under any circumstances (shade opened/closed repeatedly, tile present or not) — this suggests the issue may be specific to AmneziaVPN's VLESS/Xray implementation rather than a general Android 16 VPN bug, though I'm aware Android 16 has a separate, known, unrelated VPN bug affecting other providers after app updates.
