Describe the bug
UPD1: Actually after making a backup of my settings and removing and installing application -no data is lost.
So it's clearly a naming issue - uninstall windows should be more specific what settings are kept

I want to upgrade AnmeziaVPN app on my Windows desktop to the latest and the greates
I don't want to loose my settings or reconfigre something

There is no such option, I required to make full deinstallation with losing data first

To Reproduce

  1. Install AmnesiaVPN Windows v4.8.14.5
  2. Configure your servers and use app
  3. Run installator of latest version

Expected behavior
Upgrade process

Screenshots

Image No option not to remove all my data

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Windows 11
  • Version 4.8.19.0

Server (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Ubuntu 24

I never made a backup, just reinstalled the program and the settings were always saved.

yeah, after trying it - behavior is the same
So the non-optional line 'Remove all components' is misleading.
It should be 'Remove all resources, but keep settings'
