Describe the bug

AmneziaVPN 5.0.0.5 crashes immediately after launch on Xiaomi Mi TV MSSP1 running Android TV 9.

When launching the application:

a black screen appears for about 1 second;
the application closes and returns to the Android TV launcher;
no error message is displayed.

The crash happens before any VPN connection is established.

To Reproduce

Install AmneziaVPN_5.0.0.5_android9+_armeabi-v7a.apk on Xiaomi Mi TV MSSP1.
Launch the application.
The application shows a black screen for approximately one second.
The application closes.

The issue is reproducible after:

clearing cache;
clearing application data;
reinstalling the application;
factory resetting the TV.

Expected behavior

AmneziaVPN should launch normally, as previous version 4.8.18.0 does on the same device.

Log files

No log files available yet.

I can provide adb logcat if needed.

The device has a 64-bit CPU, but Android runs in a 32-bit environment.

Tested versions

Working:

AmneziaVPN_4.8.18.0_android9+_armeabi-v7a.apk

Not working:

AmneziaVPN_5.0.0.5_android9+_armeabi-v7a.apk

Also tested:

AmneziaVPN_4.8.18.0_android9+_arm64-v8a.apk
AmneziaVPN_5.0.0.5_android9+_arm64-v8a.apk

The arm64-v8a versions are not compatible because this device supports only 32-bit Android ABI.

Server information

The VPN server is working correctly.

The same VPN configuration works without issues on:

Android phone;
Windows PC.

Additional context

I contacted Amnezia support and was advised to test different ARM builds.

I prefer to keep the working version 4.8.18.0 for now and wait for a fixed release.

This report is provided to help investigate compatibility issues of AmneziaVPN 5.x with Android TV devices running a 32-bit Android environment.

The second ARMv7a test build provided by the support team works correctly on my Xiaomi Mi TV MSSP1 (Android TV 9, 32-bit runtime).
It launches successfully and the VPN works as expected.
It appears that the issue has been fixed in this test build.
