Describe the bug
On iOS the system clipboard permission alert ("AmneziaVPN would like to paste from ...") pops up all over the app, without the user ever tapping Paste — it appears just by navigating to pages that contain text fields.

This is a regression. It was originally fixed in PR #1868 (merged 2025-09-29): the Paste context-menu item in client/ui/qml/Controls2/ContextMenuType.qml was changed to not evaluate textObj.canPaste on iOS, because that binding is evaluated eagerly for every text field's context menu and reads the system clipboard, which triggers the iOS paste permission alert.

The fix was then accidentally wiped out in commit d78202c6 ("chore: is-test-flight processing (#2093)", part "context menu fixes for qt6.9"): ContextMenuType.qml was rewritten for the new Qt 6.9 native context menus starting from a pre-#1868 version of the file, so the condition went back to Qt.platform.os === "android" ? true : textObj.canPaste — losing the iOS half of the fix.

Affected releases: the fix was present in 4.8.11.0–4.8.11.4; the regression is in 4.8.12.6 through 5.0.0.5 and is still on current dev (it survived the recent iOS rework in #2916).

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Copy any text to the clipboard
  2. Open AmneziaVPN
  3. iOS shows the system "would like to paste from" permission alert although Paste was never tapped

Expected behavior
The paste permission alert should only appear when the user explicitly performs a paste action, as it did after #1868.

Smartphone:

  • Device: iPhone 17 Pro Max
  • OS: 26.5.2
  • Version: 5.0.0.5

Additional context
The same problem existed on Android ("app pasted from clipboard" toast at launch) and was fixed the same way in #919. Proposed fix: restore the #1868 condition — PR #2955 .
