Problem

The AmneziaVPN desktop client currently depends on systemd (in the installer)
and systemd-resolved (via the org.freedesktop.resolve1 D-Bus interface for DNS
management).

As a result, it does not work out of the box on Void Linux (or other systems
without systemd and systemd-resolved).

Solution / Ready Workaround

I created a working setup and a D-Bus DNS bridge specifically for Void Linux
(runit + openresolv):

Key features:

• Single-script installer: Installs everything out-of-the-box, automatically
resolving dependencies via xbps.
• DNS bridge: Translates systemd-resolved D-Bus calls to openresolv,
preventing DNS leaks across VPN protocols.
• Native runit services: Handles daemon lifecycle, logging, and automatic DNS
cleanup.

Sharing this here as a ready-to-use solution for Void Linux users and as a
reference for future non-systemd support.
