Greetings! Thank you for the great app!

I'm currently using the official build on Arch Linux, but I would like to be able to install it using my system's package manager, Pacman.

The deploy script for Linux builds everything just nice; however, it also packages things to an installer, which is what I don't need.
Running cmake --install <builddir> doesn't help me either, because it only seems to install very few files.

My question is, how would I go about building the client in a platform-agnostic way (preferably without using CQtDeployer), and which files are essential for the installation? Arch Packages are generally dynamically-linked against system libraries, and I saw things like openvpn, which would already be present on a user's system.

Thank you for the feedback!
Unfortunately, we do not have enough resources to support Linux distributions and develop packages for various Linux versions.
But we are open to any contributions!

Hey,

I realise you're stretched thin enough as it is, and contribute is exactly what I'm trying to do.

I just need to know how to compile a working client and what compiled/output files are required for a working program.

Hey, @JinEnMok !
Faced the same issue.
Unfortunately I have no time to figure things out as well, and I used built-in installer.
But I made a list of changes in my filesystem.

Here is the list of new files in my FS after installation for the version 4.7.0.0: amnezia_4.7.0.0_files.log

Not sure if that will be helpful, but that is somehow answering your question 🙃

P.S.: If full list of every file is not required, the changes are here:

/etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/AmneziaVPN.service
/etc/systemd/system/AmneziaVPN.service
/opt/AmneziaVPN
/run/amneziavpn
/usr/share/pixmaps/AmneziaVPN.png
/usr/share/applications/AmneziaVPN.desktop
/usr/local/bin/AmneziaVPN
/usr/local/sbin/AmneziaVPN
/var/log/AmneziaVPN

Thanks, that should help a lot. I was making so progress, though didn't have any time lately.
