Describe the bug
After the installation of the client I can't launch it. I'm getting the following error message in Terminal:

/opt/AmneziaVPN/client/bin/AmneziaVPN: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.28' not found (required by /opt/AmneziaVPN/client/lib/libQt6Core.so.6)

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Install AmneziaVPN on Ubuntu 18.04.
  2. Open Terminal window.
  3. Type AmneziaVPN and click 'Enter'.
  4. See error message:

/opt/AmneziaVPN/client/bin/AmneziaVPN: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.28' not found (required by /opt/AmneziaVPN/client/lib/libQt6Core.so.6)

`
Expected behavior
Expect to have AmneziaVPN client launched on Ubuntu.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Ubuntu
  • Version: 18.04.6 LTS

Additional context
It seems that AmneziaVPN requires certain versions of Ubuntu? If yes, which is the minimal supported version?
Can the issue be somehow fixed without upgrading whole Ubuntu OS to a newer version?

If you are talking about the client part, the minimum working version of Ubuntu seems to be 20.04, anything lower will not work (probably because of Qt6 version).

Thanks. Maybe it makes sense to specify this somewhere in docs?
