When choosing connection settings file - nothing happens, configuration don't apply.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Go to 'File with connection settings'
Choose file w/ configuration
Nothing happens

Expected behavior
When choosing connection settings file - connection appears

Smartphone (please complete the following information):

Device: Honor 10 (COL-L29)
OS: Android 9, EMUI 9
App version: 4.8.1.9

Additional context
Not work in another app vesions, trys: 4.8.2.3, 4.8.1.0, 4.8.0.5
Works as charm in another phone - Honor 50 on Android 13, MagicOS 7.1

My friend is facing the same issue on Android 10. Also, I think logs should be accessible before vpn is setup so these issues can be diagnosed.

Updated it, and got the same issue and forgor how i've fixed it the last time, if i'll find out i'll be back (btw used it on Honor 10 (COL-L29))

Hello,
Facing the same issue. I'm on Samsung Galaxy S22+ and Android 15 - can open config files without issue in Amnezia.
Mom's S23+ refuses to scan QR, load config files or load backups. It opens the file manager but clicking the .conf file does nothing. I tried giving it any possible permission but still, doesn't help.
