Describe the bug
After importing WireGuard configurations from ProtonVPN, the app shows that split tunneling is enabled and cannot be disabled for this connection. When attempting to edit the split tunneling lists (to exclude certain sites from the VPN), an error appears:

"Default server does not support split tunneling function."

Expected Behavior:

  • Since the imported configuration is from ProtonVPN (not the default Amnezia Free server), split tunneling should be fully configurable.
  • The option to disable split tunneling should be available.
  • Editing the exclusion lists (for apps that bypass the VPN) should work without errors.

Current Behavior:

  • Split tunneling appears locked in an "enabled" state.
  • Attempting to modify split tunneling settings results in an incorrect error about the "default server".
  • The app incorrectly treats the ProtonVPN config as Amnezia Free server.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Obtain .conf files from ProtonVPN
  2. In AmneziaVPN import those configs.
  3. From the main screen of Amnezia VPN (where "Connect" button is) , click on "split tunneling"
  4. Try to disable or change settings of ST.
  5. See error.

Log files
I don't know which log files are needed here.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Pop!_OS (Ubuntu derivative)
  • Version: AmneziaVPN - 4.8.5.0_linux

Server (please complete the following information):

  • Config files from Proton VPN.

Additional context
Proton VPN config works with AmneziaWG protocol with manual modification of .conf file. Connection is working with both options (original .conf from Proton VPN, and modified for AWG protocol). The reported issue persists in both cases.
