Describe the bug
The configuration files always default to AmneziaWG, with no option to select a different protocol when creating a config. Because AmneziaWG is now blocked, it makes configs pretty useless.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Be in Russia
  2. Own Amnezia Premium subscription
  3. Create config file for any country
  4. Use config
  5. See that no connection happens using config, because it's using AmneziaWG

Expected behavior
When generating a configuration file, there should be an option to choose the desired protocol (e.g., XRay.) instead of it defaulting to AmneziaWG.

Desktop:

  • OS: Windows 11 Pro x64
  • Version 3.8.9.2

Server:

  • Amnezia Premium [canada]

This feature would be really nice to have!
My use case is configuring several outbounds for xray on my ASUS router.
For now I can only use the config from a self-hosted installation, but as I'm subscribed to amnezia premium, would be great to use other servers too.

Unfortunately, no (I think). I wanted to fix the issue myself but had never worked with the Qt framework, so I decided not to do anything. Instead, I first set up Amnezia self-hosted and then switched to 3x-ui. That turned out to be cheaper and more convenient. Honestly, I don’t understand why the owners of Amnezia still haven’t fixed this issue.
At the moment I don't have a subscription, so I can't check whether this is still an actual problem

You can make a backup in the Amnesia client AmneziaVPN.backup and find the json block with the xray config in it.
