Description:
It would be extremely useful if the Amnezia VPN iOS app supported Shortcuts (Siri Commands) integration, allowing users to enable or disable the VPN directly from the iOS Shortcuts app.

Proposed solution:
• Expose two actions to the Shortcuts framework:
1. Enable VPN – connects to the last used or preferred server.
2. Disable VPN – disconnects the current VPN session.
• Optionally, support parameters (e.g., specific server name or profile) for more advanced automation scenarios.

Why this is important:
• It enables powerful automation workflows — for example, automatically enabling the VPN when launching certain apps (like banking or messaging apps), or disabling it under specific conditions (like connecting to a trusted Wi-Fi network).
• It improves the user experience by removing the need to manually open the app to toggle the connection.
• Competing apps such as RedShieldVPN and others already provide this level of automation support, which makes them more convenient for power users and privacy-focused workflows.

At least if you already have an existing self-hosted VPN configuration you can add a shortcut for it:

  1. Press +
  2. Choose "Controls"
  3. Choose "Set VPN"
  4. Change "VPN" to your existing configuration
  5. Press "Done"

Moreover if your device has the Action Button it is pretty convenient to assign this shortcut.
