Description: On Windows, Amnezia Premium currently counts each user profile as a separate connection. This means that one physical computer with multiple local accounts consumes multiple Premium slots, even though only one user can be active at a time.

Steps to reproduce:

Install AmneziaVPN Premium on a Windows PC.

Configure the client under one user account.

Log in under another Windows account on the same machine and configure AmneziaVPN again.

Observe that Premium counts this as two separate connections.

Expected behavior: One physical device should equal one Premium connection, regardless of how many Windows profiles exist on it. Other VPN providers (ExpressVPN, ProtonVPN, NordVPN, even Kaspersky Secure Connection) follow this logic.

Actual behavior: Each Windows profile is counted as a separate connection, consuming multiple slots unfairly.

Impact:

Regular home users with multiple accounts on one PC are penalized.

Premium subscribers lose slots unnecessarily.

Users are forced to choose between “number of slots” and “quality of connection (VLESS)” if they try to work around this limitation with shared config files.

Suggested fix: Implement device‑based accounting instead of profile‑based accounting. If this is not technically possible, Premium should offer more slots to compensate for the unfair limitation.
