In my case, there are the bug in amnezia desktop client on Mac. It fails to establish a dns connections when domain name is set for an Xray hostname.

never works on mac. But works fine if replaced with an ip.

Thank you! I have a same trouble on macOS Tahoe 26.2, but in my config xray hostname is IP address. It fails any handshake to websites, but works on apps like Telegram.
