Hi. I installed the latest version of AmneziaWG 1.1.7 on Android 15 with custom firmware, but encountered the following problems: when switching from mobile Internet to WiFi and back, Amnezia loses connection and does not restore it until you open the program window; the same thing happens when the Internet connection is lost, the program loses connection and only restores it when the program window is opened. Another glitch I noticed is that the program completely freezes on a WiFi connection with KeepAlive enabled for 10 to 25 seconds, resulting in a complete loss of connection and the program freezing on WiFi. It works without freezing on mobile internet. I compared it with the old version of AmneziaWG 1.1.2, which supports connections when switching perfectly well, but also freezes on a WiFi connection with KeepAlive enabled. The OpenVPN client installed for testing works equally well on both mobile and WiFi connections. With respect for your work.

I have the same problem with amneziawg, amneziavpn, and defaultvpn. Were you able to solve the problem?

Hi. I made several requests with this problem both here on the developer’s platform and in the telegram support group, it seems that the authors completely ignore requests and requests, switching exclusively to earnings and commerce, the main thing is to pay them, and the fact that something has stopped working for you does not interest them at all. I switched to OpenVPN Android https://github.com/schwabe/ics-openvpn/releases
it works just perfectly well, does not lose connection either on the mobile Internet or on WiFi, supports Proxy mode and, most importantly, showed record values for minimal battery consumption - after 8 hours of work in the background on WiFi with an active messenger, only 1% of the total discharge.

I have a slightly different problem. The connection is lost in standby (blocking) mode. After waking up, it takes some time for the connection to be restored. There are no restrictions on power saving, the "turn off when idle" checkbox is also disabled. I have PAD with WIFI connection, it uses Xyaomi HyperOS 3.0.2.0 based on Android 16
