I have two openwrt 24.10.2 routers which are unable to talk to each other using Openwrt Amneziawg protocol like I do with wireguard, both routers have amneziawg packages installed and tested to be working properly against a self hosted amnezia wg server configured using amnezia client.
Router A:
Router B:
Pinging fails from Router A to router B/(and vice versa) and there is very little RX on amnezia interface of router B.
OpenWRT AWG to Amnezia self-hosted AWG works well with the very same config, in fact I constructed BOTH Router A and B configs based on native user configs and wg0.conf from my self-hosted server.
moreover, the same config starts working as soon as I change
option proto 'amneziawg'tooption proto 'wireguard'and comment out the awg_* options on both ends.with these two working scenarios, I'm convinced there is something wrong only with OpenWRT AWG to OPENWRT AWG.
